REPAIR OF BOAT LAUNCHING 03 NOS :- Complete body repair of Boat Launching 5.6 M x 2M of bridge floating heavy class 50 mode of fiber glass reinforced plastic by carrying out of following works :- (a) Repairing and replacement of damaged parts i.e Seating Rods, bracket, Water Protection plates, stern walls, stern wall eyes, fender bow coir complete, starboard side of the transom for attachment of ropes, mooring ring provided at the tern, stainless steel bolts and nuts, washers, nylon washers and wing nuts. (b) Spray painting on inner and outer body of launching BOAT by two layer coating of A grade quality of ISI mark synthetic enameled white paint. INSTRUCTION FOR REPAIRING OF BOAT (c) Care should be taken not to drag the boat on ground to avoid abrasion of the gel coat, scratches on hull of the boat and chipping off layers of glass lamination. (d) Chipped off portion should be filled with pigmented gel coat followed by burnishing and polishing. (e) Notches be filled with pigmented gel coat slightly beyond damaged area. After solidification, the external surface be rubbed down with rubbing compound to match the original surface of the hull and finally be polished with wax polish.
