Manual Rescue and operation Rescue of water supply installation with all connected equipments, electric driven pump set, 20,000 Gph, supply lines and machineries (as listed herein under) and internal and external electrification, external water supply system, sumps, overhead reservoirs, service tanks, etc with one operator / technician operation for (01 No/Shift) for 02 shifts, (08 hours each shift) including Sundays and holidays including routine maintenance checks and upkeeping the installation and with the under laid components complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Location : Mahul (i) 1st shift - 0600 hrs to 1400 hrs (ii) 2nd shift - 1400 hrs to 2200 hrs Machineries: (a) Pumping set 25HP - 02No. (b) Pumping set 20HP - 02No. (c) Pumping set 5HP - 02Nos. (d) Electric control panel - 02No Note : - Any malfunctioning noticed during the entire contract period on account of negligence of the operaters , the cost of Repair /replacement of defective parts shall be recoveredfrom any dues from the contractor. Decision of the Eng - in Charge on this subject shall be final and binding.

(d) Electric control panel - 02No Note item 01 to 02:- (a) Material such as cotton waste, dress i.e overall combination (navy blue colour), protective clothing, protective shoes, gas mask, gloves, water testing instruments and other instruments etc, as required for maintenance, manning and operation of plant shall be arranged by the contractor from his own sources for which cost of the same shall deemed to be included in the unit rate. No extra amount shall be paid separately on this account. (b) Installation shall be manned including Saturdays, Sunday & Holiday. (c) Proper log sheets for running of the pump house & plants to be maintained. (d) Testing of water sample during every water supply delivery time and recording test result in a register and to be get signed by Engr-in-charge. (e) Carry out weekly maintenance of electrical panels installed in pump house and intimate Engr-in-charge immediately for any defects/breakdown/repair required. (f) Carry out tightening of nuts bolts, replace when required, applying gland packing and greasing. (g) The contractor shall be responsible to keep the water supply installation neat and clean on every day. (h) All documentation such as log sheets, daily attendance register shall maintain as per procedure in vogue. (j) If the operator and valve man are found absent from duty, penal recovery shall be made per shift per head are as follows :- (i) Operator - @ Rs 2000 per operation shift per head. (ii) Valve man - @ Rs 1800/- per operation shift per head.

Manual rescue and operation rescue of water distribution sluice valves of various sizes etc with one valveman per shift, operation for 01 shifts/per day, (08 hours each shift) including Sundays and holidays including routine maintenance checks and upkeeping the installation and with the under laid components complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Location: 31 WEU Thane (a) Pumping set centrifugal type of capacity 12 litres/sec with 38 m head with electrically driven induction motor 15HP, 3 phase- 02 No. (b) Chemical dozing plant with injection assembly booster pump with induction motor of 1.5HP, 3 phase - 01 No. (c) Vertical type pressure filter of capacity 1000 glns/hr including blower unit with induction motor 5HP, 3 phase - 01No (d) LT electric control panel with all accessories and components - 02 Nos Note : (a) In case any operator is missing or absent from duty, a penalty of Rs 650/- per shift shall be recovered from any of dues of the contractor and the Engr-in-Charge decision shall be final and binding on this account. (b) The operator shall keep the paints, machineries and valve chamber surrounding area clean and tidy. (c) Contractor shall provide uniform and necessary tools required by the men employed by him. (d) Contractor shall submit the details of payments and wages for staffs employed through Aadhar link bank account Nos for payment purpose. (e) Painting of the equipments of pumps as required and existing to be done once in a year as per the directions given by the Engineer in Charge.

Comprehensive repairs & maintenance to HOT cranes (2 Nos )having 1 Ton capacity with 10 metrs span located in Torpedo workshop to be carried out as under:- (a) Opening of the chain pulley block for location of faults and replacement of unserviceable parts as required at site including attending routine complaints of users to keep the chain pulley block operational through out the year (maximum break down period shall not exceed more than 24 hrs from the time of receipt of complaint) (b) Checking the alignment of the ISMB for free movement of mechanically operated trolley. (c) Repairs/ maintenance of mechanically operated trolley including replacement of worn out parts complete for smooth functioning of the crane. (d) Application of grease to components and chain as per the manufacturers instructions. (e) Load testing of the crane after every repairs as per the instructions of 'handling explosive devices/ ammunition. (f) Load testing as per SWL of crane capacity. Note: Load will be arranged by the department within the radius of 2 KM from the testing site. However shifting of the loads to testing site and back to the place by engaging suitable crane/transport with man power shall be the contractors responsibility and the quoted rate shall be deemed to include for the same.

All as per Item No. 5.00 above but for 6 cranes of capacity 3/3.5 Ton, located in EKM workshop at NAD Trombay and NSD T-66.

Comprehensive repairs & maintenance and repairs to 1 No of EOT crane having capacity 2 Tons with 8 meters span of 4 M lift located in WED Sonobouy workshop with the following repairs :- (a) Opening of gear box of LT/CT, crab for examination, replacement of worn out parts and tightening the loosened components, checking, locking systems and closing up including testing commissioning in whenever required in any number of times through out the year including load test after every repair as per the instruction by Engineer in Charge. The permissible break down period for repair shall not exceed 24 hr from the time of receipt of complaint. (b) Checking the alignment of the ISMB for free movement of mechanically operated trolley and replacement of the chain if required. (c) Repair/replacement of worn out/burned unserviceable electrical items as required at site. (d) Tightening the DSL conductors and replace the supports if found necessary. (e) Applying grease to the components whenever required and replacement of Gear oil as per manufacturers instructions. (f) Testing of the limit switches, breaks and settings as required and to be replaced whenever unserviceable for smooth functioning through out the year. (g) Load testing as per SWL of Crane capacity. (h) Painting of the 1 SMB/ equipments of HOT/EOT as required and existing to be done once in a year as per the directions given by the Engineer in Charge. NOTE :- Load will be arranged by the department within the radius of 2 Km from the testing site. However, shifting of the loads to testing site and back to the place by engaging suitable crane/transport with man power shall be the contractors responsibility and the quoted rate shall be deemed to include for the same.

All as per Item No.8.00 above but for 1 crane of capacity 2 Ton having 10 meter span of 4 meter lift located in WED TP Sonobouy.

All as per Item No.8.00 above but for 2 cranes of capacity 3/3.5 Ton having 11 meters span of 4 meter lift located in EKM Workshop and section 5 at NAD (T).

All as per Item No.8.00 above but for 1 crane of capacity 5 Ton having 11 meters span and 8 meters lift located in Shed No -16 and AK- 230 at WED mankhurd.

Comrehensive preventive maintenance by technically qualified technician and rendering operationally 2 Nos EOT crane of 30 TON capacity at DSRV as mentioned below including assemblies inspection to maintenance of longitude travel/cross travel system assy and checking lubricating of gear system topping up of lubricant upto desired level, replacement of gasket, nut, bolts, washer, split pins for proper tightness and safety including replaement of worn out part such as slip rings, Rubber Buffer, checking of coupling unit travel track etc all other miscellaneous item & ensure safe operation of crane. Preventive maintenance of housing system assy comprising of inspection checking including topping up/ charging of lubricants & gasket inspection and checking of bracing, pulley, nut, dolys washer, split pins, bushes, hooks, checking of housing pulley and lubrication thereof inspection of hoisting rope for cut aberration etc & cleaning up all greasy/ clipping materials inspection servicing, setting and testing breaking limit system for its safe operation. Inspection, checking and setting out. Preventive maintenance of elecrical control system complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Notes: (a) Ispection checking decarbonising & tightning of electrical connection in total system includig replacment of thimbles etc. (b) Inspection & checking of fuses, setting & tightning the same as per their capacity. (c) Inspection & setting of voltage system including replacement of fused indicating lamp etc. (d) Spares for EOT crane will be measured and paid seperately. (e) Contractor will carry out comprehensive maintenance once in a month for 11 months and maintain the record of the same as per the performa of monthly maintenanc check. (f) Contractor ensure serviceability and safety of crane during his each visit by way of maintining job card duly signed by JE E/M. (g) The contractor will also send Technician on call basis in case of any fault. Fault to be rectified within 8 hrs of receipt of complaint failing which Rs. 500/- per day will be deducted till rectification of defect. Contd......

(h) Rates of all consumables such as lubricant, gear oil, nut bolt, split pins, bushes, gasket are deemed to be included in the rates. (l) Note : Crane load test certification to be certified by Govt recognised/approved agency and rate shall be included in the quoted rate. Painting of the HOT/EOT as required and existing to be done once in a year as per the directions given by the Engineer in Charge.

Material and labour for load testing 2 Nos of EOT crane of 30 Ton having 29 Meters span and 12 Meters hook height lift located in DSRV including all necessary preparation of test such as collecting of load block and re-depositing in the existing location, binding work, welding and all related material which may be required on ground to complete the whole testing procedure ascomplete job for both cranes. Note : (a) Crane load Test certification to be conducted by recognised crane manufacturer/ govt approved testing agent and submit to this office. Rate for the same shall be inclusive in the quoted rate. (b) Arrangement of mobile lifting machines, man power and supervisory staff for the complete test as specification above shall be the complete test as specified above shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor and rate shall be included in the quoted rate. (c) Any damage which may take place due to mishandling of testing procedure, inefficient of supervisory staff etc shall be made good by the contractor. (d) Load Cell required at site during testing will be provided by the contractor and rate shall deem to be in the quoted rate. (e) Any item which is not mentioned here-in-before but technically required while conducting the test shall be incorporated by the contractor to enable to complete the test satisfactorily and rate of the same shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (f) Load base platform suitable to carry safety the load (i.e not less than 50 Ton capacity) with sling of required Nos, shackle etc duly certified of their capacity/strength shall be provided for conducting the load and rate of the same shall be included in the quoted rate.
