SPECIAL REPAIR OF ALL INTERNAL ROADS/PAVER BLOCKS INCLUDING ROAD FURNITURE FOR OTM ACCN AT CERTAIN LOCATION IN OD COMPLEX, MANOJ PANDEY COMPLEX, UNDER GE (EAST) MATHURA

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 sqm, depth not exceeding 50 mm complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 75 mm thick (Compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregates (lime stone/ sand store, flint or quartzite) of grading 2 (63 mm to 40 mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20 mm size), blinded with screening of hard stone of grading ‘A’, spread, watered and rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller, hollows made up to form true surface and consolidated to required gradient and camber etc, complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with air compressor through air jet to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat of paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 10 Kg per 10 Sqm of surface by sprayer operated on hot pressure mechanism complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for providing, laying, spreading premix bituminous macadam with crushed and graded stone aggregate mixed together with 4% of paving bitumen of grade VG-30 by weight of total mix including heating bitumen to the required temperature, mixing bituminous macadam in automatic and temperature controlled hot mixing plant, laying, spreading by means of mechanical paver and rolling and consolidating to the required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Job mix formula of premix bituminous macadam shall be approved by GE.

M&L for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with air compressor through air jet to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat of paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 5 Kg per 10 Sqm of surface by sprayer operated on hot pressure mechanism complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for providing, laying, spreading 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) of premix Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC) with crushed and graded coarse aggregates as per design based on Job mix formula with 5.5% bitumen binder content (bitumen of Grade VG-30) by weight of total mix including heating bitumen to the required temperature, mixing bituminous concrete in automatic and temperature controlled drum type hot mixing plant, laying, spreading uniformly by means of Mechanical paver and rolling and consolidating to the required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller and Vibromax roller to a uniform smooth surfaces complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) The work shall be executed as per design mix approved by GE. (ii) Paving bitumen of Grade VG-30 for semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be used and shall be procured by the contractor under his own arrangement and at his own cost. (iii) Cost of all the materials, T&P, labour etc. required for preparation of surfaces, providing and laying semi dense asphaltic concrete including procurement of bitumen as specified here-in-before, stone aggregates & sand etc., rolling and all other elements required for entire completion of the job shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for this item. (iv) Bituminous concrete shall be mixed in drum type hot mix plant, transported from plant to work at site and laid/spread by means of mechanical paver finisher. (v) Filler for bitumen concrete shall be OPC grade @ 2% of total mix. (vi) Contractor shall quote his rate on the basis of binder as mentioned in this item. If there is any minus variation in the actual binder content used as per design mix approved by GE, the rate shall be adjusted as per invoice submitted by contractor per Kg of binder used. However no price adjustment shall be made if the binder content works out to more than as specified in this item.

M&L for bitumen surfaces of thermo plastic road marking 1.5-2 mm thick painting (centre lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on new or previously treated road surfaces) with road safety spikeries glass beads including preparation of new or previously treated road surfaces and applying road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with using special applicator machine with heating arrangement complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing cat eye reflective type of metal body alloy of size 110mm x 120mm x 24mm with PAMA striplens reflector fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturer’s instructions including dismantling and taking out old unserviceable / broken road stud / cat eye of any type complete all as specified and as directed.
