Note: 1) The rates in respect of this Item are applicable for the NET Quantities arrived at after making deductions for voids @ 20% in respect of soil and @ 50% in respect of Rock from the corresponding Stack / Truck measurements. 2) The earth shall be dumped well inside the Dumping yard and not over approach pathway road.

Lead charges for 1st 1 kilometre or part thereof

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of 1:3:6 (1 cement, 3 crushed sand, 6 graded stone aggregate of maximum size 20 mm) or M-10 with minimum cement content of 220 Kg/m3 including consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete as per specifications and drawings but excluding the cost of Form work shuttering, centering Complete at all levels

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of 1:2:4 (1 cement, 2 crushed sand, 4 graded stone aggregate of nominal size 20 mm) or M-15 with minimum cement content of 320 Kg/m3 including consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete as per specification and drawings but excluding the cost of Formwork shuttering, centering and steel reinforcement at all Levels.

Providing and laying in position Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) of grade M-30 at all level using 20mm maximum size aggregates and crushed sand of approved quality including admixtures of approved brand and quality (plasticiser or super plasticiser) if required, including weigh batching, mechanical mixing, transporting, placing, vibrating, consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and reinforcement complete as per specifications up to Plinth Level. Note- For item of RCC (i) In view of limit on water-cement ratio for durability requirements, concrete admixtures (Naphthalene / Melamine based super plasticizers) shall be used after taking prior approval of Engineer-in-Charge and the rates quoted for these items shall be inclusive of the cost of admixtures, trial mixes, testing (at site & at approved labs), etc. complete. ii) All projections, fins etc. in the concrete surface formed at the joints in the formwork should be ground & flush and finished at no extra cost. iii) Minimum cement content .

Providing Reinforcement Steel for reinforced cement concrete at all levels including supplying, preparation of bar bending schedules, cutting, bending, transporting, fixing, tieing in position with PVC coated G.I binding wire, all labour charges, cost of cover blocks in specified grade of concrete etc. complete as per specifications and drawings. Using TMT bars of specified grades of all sizes. TMT bars to be supplied by the contractor from the own plants of SAIL, RINL or TATA make only using virgin materials

Providing Structural steel work using angles, channels, joists and other sections, welded and / or bolted in built up sections for trusses , structural steel floors, frame works, monorails and other structures including supplying, cutting, welding, fabricating, hoisting, fixing in position, applying a priming coat of approved steel primer etc. complete all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Project Engineer.

Up to and including 300 mm Joists, 350 mm channels, and below sections using materials produced by SAIL , RINL (Vizag Steel) and Main manufacturer only all test reports to be provided along with the supply of the materials

Providing and fixing anodized aluminium (Anodised transparent or dyed to required shade according to IS:1868 Minimum Anodic coating of grade AC 15) work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections / Z Sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS:733 and IS:1285 fixed with rawl plugs and screws or with fixing clips or with expansion hold fastners including necessary filling up of gaps at junctions, at top, bottom and sides with required PVC / neoprene felt etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / panelling, C.P brass / stainless screws all complete as per architectural drawings and directions of Engineer-in-charge including providing and fixing hinges / pivots and making provision for fixing of fittings wherever required. Providing and laying integral box type cement based treatment for water proofing on horizontal surfaces & inclined surfaces at all depth below ground level for under ground structures including testing for leak-proof ness with guarantee for a period 10 years etc. complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge and consisting of : i) 1st layer of 22 mm to 25 mm thick approved and specified rough stone slab over a 25 mm thick base of cement mortar 1:3 ( 1 cement : 3 coarse sand) mixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS:2645 in the recommended proportion over the leveling course (leveling course to be paid separately). Joints sealed and grouted with cement slurry mixed with water proofing compound. ii) 2nd layer of 25 mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) mixed with water proofing compound in recommended proportions. iii) Finishing top with stone (Using Shahabad stone /Cuddapah ( In Lifts at Below GL)) aggregate of 10 mm to 12 mm nominal size spreading @ 8 kg/sqm thoroughly embedded in the 2nd layer all complete as directed Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying integral box type cement based treatment for water proofing on vertical surfaces by fixing specified stone (Using Shahabad stone /Cuddapah ( In Lifts at Below GL)) slab 22 mm to 25 mm thick with cement slurry mixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS:2645 in recommended proportions with a gap of 20 mm (minimum) between stone slabs and the receiving surfaces and filling the gaps with neat cement slurry mixed with water proofing compound and finishing the exterior of stone slab with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) 20 mm thick with neat cement punning mixed with water proofing compound in recommended proportion complete at all levels including testing for leak-proof ness with guarantee for a period 10 years etc. complete and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and Placing in position Dumb bell with central bulb 225mm wide PVC water stops conforming to IS:12200 of Deep-Jyoti or equivalent for construction/ expansion joints between two RCC members and fixed to the reinforcement with binding wire before pouring concrete etc. complete

Providing and laying integral cement based water proofing treatment including preparation of surface as required for treatment of roofs, balconies, terraces etc. consisting of following operations (i) Applying and grouting a slurry coat of neat cement using 2.75 kg /sq.m of cement admixed with proprietary water proofing compound confirming to IS:2645 over RCC slab including adjoining walls up to 300mm height including cleaning the surface before treatment (ii) Laying brick bats with mortar using broken brick bats 25mm to 115mm size with 50% of cement mortar 1:5 (using coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound confirming to IS:2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge over 20mm thick layer of C.M 1:5 (using coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound confirming to IS 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge to required slope and treating similarly the adjoining walls up to 300mm height including rounding of junctions of walls and slabs. (iii) After 2 days of proper curing applying a second coat of cement slurry admixed with proprietary water proofing compound confirming to IS:2645 and approved by Engineer-in-Charge. (iv) Finishing the surface with 20mm thick jointless cement mortar of mix 1:4 (using coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound confirming to IS:2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge including mixing 'RECRON 3S' fibre at the rate of 125 grams per 50kg of Cement in top layer of plaster and finally finishing the surface with trowel with neat cement slurry and making pattern of 300x300mm square, 3mm deep. (v) The whole terrace so finished shall be flooded with water for a minimum period of 2 weeks for curing and for final test. All above operations to be done in order and as directed and as specified by the Engineer-in-Charge.
