Excavating in trenches not exc 1.50 m wide and not exc 1.50 m deep for foundation, laying of pipe or for shafts, wells cesspits,man holes etc not exc 10 Sqm on plan and n exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge at site.

Returning, filling in, soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc. 25cm thick complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge at site.

Removing excavated soil to distance not exc. 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 m above the starting point etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying, laying & testing 300 mm dia ductile iron pressure pipe with spigot and socket end, class K-9, confirming to IS-8329/2000, blast furnace slag cement with portland cement properties suitable for push-on - joint with inside cement mortar lining, internal metallic zinc coating and external black bitumen coating, ISI marked, laid in trenches including making good disturbed surfaces of road /pavement/PCC surface to match the adjoining as required, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge at site.

Supplying, laying & testing 200 mm dia ductile iron pressure pipe with spigot and socket end, class K-9, confirming to IS-8329/2000, blast furnace slag cement with portland cement properties suitable for push-on - joint with inside cement mortar lining, internal metallic zinc coating and external black bitumen coating, ISI marked, laid in trenches including making good disturbed surfaces of road /pavement/PCC surface to match the adjoining as required, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge at site.

Material and labour for cutting the existing CI/DI water mains for addn/altrn or for taking branch connections/insertion of new Tees, branches suitable for 300 mm bore size complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge at site.

M&L for CI/ DI fittings for spigot and socket pipes of size upto 300 mm bore such as bends (any type, radius and angle) tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc), Tee, branch pieces, single branch, 'Y' junction, double branch, cross (all socket or socket and spigot), collars, caps, and plugs complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge at site.

Supplying, laying & testing ERW pipes including specials, nominal dia 300mm, heavy duty, confirming to IS 3589 (1981), of thickness 8.00mm, duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of Zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge at site. Notes : (i) Unit rates quoted by the contractor is deemed to be inclusive of all fittings such as bend, reducer, elbows, tees etc and shall be fabricated out of ERW steel. (ii) Pipes shall be laid in any length as per site requirement. (iii) All cutting, welding, jointing materials of appropriate size for laying of pipes with specials is included in the rate quoted by the contractor for this item. (iv) MS pipe shall be fixed/laid in trenches/erected across crossing/along the PHED road supported with MS angle, wooden supporting block, thrust block of RCC and rubber pad/anti vibration pad complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge at site. (v) MS structure and RCC blocks to support piping during erection shall be measured and paid separately under respective items in this schedule.

M&L for Cast Iron Air Valves with two air Outlets, confirming to IS 14845, suitable for bore of size 80 mm and fixing to MS ERW water supply mains and sluice valve of any size/bore including making hole and welding complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge at site.

Material & labour for Horizontal Boring at a depth of 1.5 mtr under Road/ pavement, hard standing, by using trenchless technology, using ultra sound technique including necessary machine or standard Engineering practice and providing MS/HDPE pipe of minimum nominal OD 500mm, PE-80, PN-6, ISI Marked, all as per IS :4984/2016 including fittings complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge at site. Note: The rate quoted for this item includes for repairing charges payable to PWD (if any), permission for laying of pipe line along/across road, any charges required to be paid to PWD for damages/restoration of road, hardstanding, side berms etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge at site.

M & L for MS works as in cross arms, bracing, support clamps and back plate fabricated out of structural steel sections, angle iron, ISMBs including nuts, bolts and washers, welding, bending hot or cold, cutting, drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as directed and applying and including two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge at site.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete, Type A1, 1:1.5:3 (using 20mm graded stone aggregates) as in foundation for columns, basement, slab for Pit chamber, roof slab for water tank etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge at site. Note for item ser No 4 to 15 : (i) Excavation and earth work will be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this BOQ. (ii) Rates for all T&P required for this job such as Welding and cutting machine, DG set, crane & JCB excavator is included in the quoted rates. (iii) Any recovery for damages occured to the adjoining infrastructure of other agency shall be borne by the contractor. (iv) Necessary permission of other agencies required to complete this job should be taken by the contractor before starting the work and necessary assistance be given by the deptt and quoted rate includes for obtaining permission from competent authority.

Material and labour for construction of brick masonry valve pit of size 150 cm x 150 cm x 120 cm (internal dimensions), using old size sub class 'B' brick, built in CM 1:6; providing 10 mm thick rendering in CM 1:4, both internally and externally with 75 mm thick PCC 1:3:6 Type C-2 in foundation, PCC 1:2:4 Type B-2 in benching complete with and including 2 mm thick mild steel sheet cover mounted on and including angle iron frame of size 50 mm x 50 mm x 6 mm thick, embedded in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 coping, fitted with proper locking arrangement, hinges and handle of suitable size and painting steel surfaces with two coats of black bituminous paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer, including necessary excavation and earthwork in any type of strata, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge at site.

Material and labour for Mild steel TMT bars, 8mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips including stirrups, spacers and binders, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge at site.
