Surface dressing n exc 15 cm deep and getting out in soft & loose soil including disposing of the soil, spoil, etc outside the premises, complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches, not exceding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundation, laying of cable, pipe etc and n. exc 10 Sqm on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth for shafts, wells, manholes etc and getting out in soft/ loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Item No 2 above but depth exceeding 1.5 metre and not exceeding 3.00 metre

Returning, filling in, with approved earth after removal of grass, vegetation etc including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Brickwork with flyash bricks [old size bricks of class designation 75 (i.e of average compressive strength 75 kgf/cm2)], straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:6, complete all as specified and directed.

Use and waste of Formwork to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffints (if any) of foundation and plinth beams, and similar work, vertical or to batter for rough finished flat surfaces of concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

Use and waste of Formwork to sides of pillars, posts, struts, piers, columns and stanchions for rough finished, square, rectangular or polygonal surfaces of concrete , complete all as specified and directed.

Use and waste of formwork to Beams, cantillevers, bressumers, lintels, shelves and similer items for rough finished flat surface of concrete, complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) of any description and in any position, not otherwise specifically provided for and including removing debries out side the premises, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete (1:11/2:3) type A-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate), in foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams, plinth beams, bases for columns, etc, basement slabs, under-reamed piles and mass concrete, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Reinforcement and Formwork shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete (1:11/2:3) type A-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate), in columns, pillars, piers, posts and struts, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Reinforcement and Formwork shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete (1:11/2:3) type A-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate), in beams, cantilevers, bressummers, lintels over 1.5m span, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Reinforcement and Formwork shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound, complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floor and in paving not exceeding 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) including disposing off the debris outside the premises, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete type D-2 (1:4:8), 150 mm thick, using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in sub-bases of floor etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 100 mm thick cement concrete type B-2 (1:2:4) using 40mm graded stone aggregate, as in floor and finished even & smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for conlumns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F mild steel work in tubular trusses, purlins, rafters & similar work, including special shaped washers etc. complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes, conforming to IS 1161-1979 grade St-240, also including necessary welding and applying one shop coat of zinc chromate primer after preparation of surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F rolled section as in framing for cladding, glazing, angle cleats, mild steel plates and the like, conforming to Fe-410-W (Gde E-250) quality 'A' including necessary welding etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Dimantling of Asbestos cement (corrugated, semi corrugated etc.) sheets in roof coverings including ridges etc, complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F pre-painted colored trapezoidal profiled Galvalume/Zincalume sheet with min 0.50mm TCT confirming to IS-513 (AZ-150 GSM, AL Zn alloy metalic coating, 550 MPA yield stress as per AS-1397), colour /exterior coat of silicon modified polyster/ BHP X RW paint system 20 micron top coat applied over 5 micron primer and a 5 micron polyster back coat applied over 5 micron primer, as in roof covering/ cladding to wall, fixed with and including Galvanised self drilling self-tapping fastener (12-14 x 55 with EPDM seals), complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new steel surfaces of any description, over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint (1st grade quality) over a coat of red-oxide primer, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of existing cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, fixed over the poles etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing XLPE insulated, armoured, heavy duty, electric cable with stranded aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade, cross sectional area 10 Sqmm x 4 core in trenches /along poles/on wall etc, complete all as specified and as directed Notes for item No 42. : (i) Excavation and earth work, sand cushioning, protection covers shall be measured and paid for separately. (ii) Unless otherwise directed by the GE, the cable shall be procured by the contractor in single length (as manufactured) to meet the actual length of cable as required at site. However, for payment purpose, the length actually ordered & laid shall be measured and paid for.

Re-routing and re-laying of LT UG cable in trenches with necessary connections and disconnections for re-distribution of load of 11/ 0.433 KVA distribution transformer including taking out of existing cable, necessary extension of cable (if required), complete in all respects, as specified and directed. Notes for item No 43: (i) Excavation and earth work, sand cushioning, protection covers shall be measured and paid for separately. (ii) Additional cable in case required and provided shall also be measured and paid separately.

M& L for Sand cushioning in trenches for cushioning of underground cable including spreading, levelling, well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm in thickness, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for well burnt Sub-class 'B' old size bricks, best quality locally available laid flat, dry in trenches for cable protection, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing GI tubing, light grade, 40mm bore for protection of cable under road crossing, across drain, along electric pole or floor /wall etc, complete all as specified and directed. Note for Item No. 46 : Excavation & Earthwork/Boring/ Drilling shall be measured & paid for separately. However the cost for provision of clamps made from mild steel flat of required size, bolts, nuts, washers etc (including painting of mild steel surfaces with 2 coats of aluminium paint over 1 coat of red oxide primer) for fixing of G.I. pipes with poles etc shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate of above item.

All as per Item No 46 above but 80mm bore tubing, complete all as specified and directed.

Boring (horizontally) using ultrasound technique and necessary machine for passing 80/40mm bore pipe for protection of the cable at approx 1 metre depth in soil below existing road, pavement, hard standing etc without damaging the existing surfaces, getting out & disposal of soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre from the site of work, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Cost for provision of pipes & cable not included in the scope of above item.

S & F in repairs Steel Tubular Poles complete with and including cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts , nuts & screws, type 410 SP-64(12 Metre long), also including painting to the external exposed surfaces with 2 coats of aluminium paint over 1 coat of red oxide primer and with 2 coats of black bituminous paint over 1 coat of red oxide primer to the external exposed surfaces of steel poles embedded in the ground / concrete after preparation of the surfaces, numbering to the poles, complete in all respect as specified and as directed. Note:- Excavation & Earth Work, concrete for foundation and coping shall only be measured and paid for separately.

M&L for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead of size 25X3 mm galvanized iron strip fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or burried in ground or drawn in existing conduit / pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc including dismantling of existing one, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately.

Supply and fixing in repairs street light control panel, 3 phase, 6 KW capacity, complete all as specified and dircected. Make: Havells, Cat No-IHXTS03060 or equivalent of Make L&T or ABB as approved by GE.

M & L for plain cement concrete type B-2 (1:2:4), using 40mm graded stone aggrgate for PCC blocks etc including use and watse of necessary formwork, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling, collecting and depositing of HT/LT switch gears, transformers, VCBs including transporting from different Sub Station to MES Store Yard as directed with necessary arrangement of heavy load lifting hydra and transportation by vehicle and cleaning of Sub Station, all as directed by Engr-in- charge. Notes:- (a) Dismantling of unserviceable items from foundation etc and carrying all shall also be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (b) For heavy unserviceable items, dismantling in stages/ parts/ piecemeal and lifting, carrying all shall also be deemed to be included in quoted rate.

M&L earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground in vertical position (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below the normal ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth lead of GI strip 32x6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, complete all as shown in Electrical Plate No. 3 of SSR Part-1 and connected to earthing test point and including dismantling of old one, complete all as specified and directed. M&L for carrying out repairs of existing old LT panels/ bus bar chamber/ feeder piller box of size upto 1000 mm (Height ) X 1000 mm (Breadth) X 500 mm (Depth) by excavation of all loops, removing damaged UG cable portion connected to the panel, making connection with provision of new thimbles/ lugs/ cable glands, replacing existing one with provision of new neoprene rubber gasket to make it completely dust and vermin proof, provision of new locking arragement, rewiring with appropriate size of new copper conductor wire, repairing of rusted parts of frame & supporting channel with necessary welding works including preparation and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint on the entire internal steel surfaces and one coat of aluminium spray paint on out side entire steel surfaces, complete all as specified and directed. Note:The unit rate quoted shall also be deemed to be include the cost of earth work, PCC foundation (1:3:6) type C-2, new thimbles/ lugs/ cable glands, neoprene rubber gaskets, bus bars, wirings, welding works, painting, sand fillings in loops etc. as required. Payment for replacement of damaged cable shall be measured and paid separately.

S&F in repair, factory made (CPRI approved) weather proof, dust & vermin proof street light junction box of size 250(L) x 200 (B) x 150 (D) mm (minimum dimensions) made up of 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet, powder coated after preparation of surfaces, comprising of 04 Nos copper bus-bar of size 20 x 4 mm mounted on suitable sized spacer insulators with provision of 01 No MCB, SP, 6 Amps, 10 KA breaking capacity, "C" curve & two openings at the bottom & one opening at the top with & including cable glands & fixing with the provision of suitable sized MS clamps to poles, also including testing, complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down old unserviceable existing XLPE/PVC insulated underground LT cables with aluminium conductor, complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately.
