General overhauling of Hot Water Generator of central heating plant with allied works at GMC Srinagar.

Opening of the Thermax Make AMW-06 model Hot Water Generator. Dismounting of the burner gun assembly ,removing the front plate ,coil from it by employing chain block.The job then involves throughly removing soot and carbon deposit s by using wire brush, scrapers and blower from shell and coil . The inside of the coil will be cleaned by circulating through it a solution of de-scaling compound, sulphamic acid powder of Thermax Make (approx 25 Kg) and water continously for 24 hr with the help of pump while maintaining a PH of 1-2. The solution is to be circulated from a tank/barrel/trays.All consumable items viz. Brushes,detergent,diesel/kerosene oil,dhoti cloth required shall be arranged by the contractor.The job also involves dismantling/cleaning of the burner gun,cleaning of nozzle,diffuser plate,electrodes.All other accesories of the boiler shall also be opened and cleaned similarly.The HWG shall be again reassembled ,tested and commissioned after overhauling.The job includes replacement of all seals ,gaskets,asbestos rope.Asbestos felt,asbestos sheet,defective nuts, bolts etc. as shall be required .The tools and tackles required for the job and any other consumables shall be provided by the contractor

Replacement of the refractory of AMW-06 Hot water Generator .The job includes complete removal of old damaged refractory and thorough cleaning of refractory surfaces/bases.Angle Iron hooks/holdfasts shall be firmly welded to the refractory base whereever necessary and collar of the top plate shall be repaired if required .Refractory shall be laid in "fire Crete Super' brand castible refractory cement.

Complete dismantling of radiators installed inside various blocks of GMC building.The radiators after opening at flange joints were shifted to any suitable place inside the hospital; premises as identified by the concerned engineer in charge. The job includes removing of dirt etc, between aluminium fins either by using blower or manually by using suitable size wire brushes followed by impinging high pressure water. The job also includes straightening of Aluminium fins and fixing of loose fins by brazing. The inside of copper tube shall be cleaned by circulating a solution of sulphuric acid powder of Thermax (Max clean) make and water of required strength continuously for 1 hour or water more with the help of pump so that the working pH is achieved (pH between 1 to 2). The solution is to be circulated from a tank /barrel. Brushes, detergent, diesel/kerosene oil, dhoti cloth required shall be arranged and provided by the contractor. The convectors shall be fitted to their respective places with replacement of all seals gaskets asbestos rope felt, asbestos sheet defective nuts and bolts etc. the job further includes removal of dents if any to the convectors shields followed by application of coal of paint even shade on the required portion

SITC of 20 mm Ball Valve of reputed make along with fittings at various places in place of old damaged ones.

Relocation of 05 Nos. radiators installed in the Microbiology Laboratory, GMC Srinagar, including disconnection/dismantling of the existing radiators, valves and associated fittings, shifting to the required locations, and refitting/reconnection of the same, complete. The job shall also include providing and fitting of the following M.S. pipes, fittings and valves: A. 1” dia. 1. Tee – 04 Nos. 2. Pipe of reputed make – 40 Metres 3. Ball Valve – 03 Nos. 4. Bend – 02 Nos. B. ¾” dia. 1. Socket – 10 Nos. 2. Elbow – 14 Nos. 3. Ball Valve – 06 Nos. 4. Pipe of reputed make – 20 Metres 5. Reducer, 1” × ¾” – 04 Nos. The job shall include all necessary cutting, welding/jointing, reconnection and leakage testing required for proper execution of the work. All tools and tackles, including suitable welding machine, gas cutter, skilled labour and other resources required for complete execution of the job shall be arranged and provided by the firm.

Dismantling/Extraction of damaged/worn out(BER) ,10 Amp.Contactor assembly and relay of the Burner of Boiler.The Job includes Providing/Fitting of new Contactor assembly and relay of reputed make and of same rating as per sample.All other necessary fittings required at site are included in the job
