Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) in soft/loose soil each not exc. 0.50 cum and getting out, returning, filling in and well ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around in layers not exceeding 25 cm, including watering and removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m away from the starting point and making good surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5 wide and n.exc 1.5m in depth for foundation etc and getting out in soft/loose soil. complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for PCC (1:3:6) type C-2, (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, mass fillings for embedding fencing posts/struts etc. complete all as specified and directed

M&L for cement concrete (using 1:4:8 type D-2 40 mm graded stone aggregatges) as in sub base of floor, foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed

M&L brick work with sub class 'B' bricks straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 mtr means radius built in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surface in CM (1:4) even and smooth with out using extra cement.complete all as specified and directed.

S&F GI chain link fancing including line wires 100 mm diagonal mesh size of 2-3 mm dia wire fixed on angle iron fencing post including provn of binding wire complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix mild steel bolts (machine made) with hexagonal head at one end and screwed the other end, each screw end to be fitted with two washers and one nut hexagonal, dia of shank 12mm, length of bolt 75mm complete all as specified and directed and directed.

Supply and fix mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia and over, cut to length bent to shape, required including cranking bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends in stiffener to chain link fencing etc including binding with and including mild steel wire or securing with clips. complete all as specified and directed and directed.

All as per item No 9 above but 5mm dia and over upto and including 10mm dia in stirrups, spacers and binders complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fix mild steel work such as bands, clamps, Fleat iron fillets for securing wire mesh, straps, ties, etc. and similar works, fabrication for steel sections conforming to Fe -290(Gde-E-165) including necessary welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicated, complete all as specified and directed.

S & F Mild steel framed work as in door or gate of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails braces etc complete drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering running rails and guides) and hanging also fastening and fixing complete Fe -410- W(Gde-E-250) complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm thick each complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soil to a distance n.exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Galvanised, 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails strainging bolts, including, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc. as directed (each line wire to be measured) complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Tie bars with screwed ends, nuts, washers and mild steel plates for walls, chimneys, roofs, arches, etc. king rods and straining bolts conforming to Fe 290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, exc 5cm but n exc 10 cm long diameter of the neck 5 to 10 mm.complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Mild steel Round bars 10mm dia and over,cut to length, bent to shape required including craking binding spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and bing with mild steel wire not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips etc complete all as specified and directed .

Use & waste wooden form work (rough finished) to sides of columns & footing, Beams, etc complete all as specified and directed

M&L Reinforced cement concrete Type B1 1:2:4 (20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) of nominal mix as in Columns, pillars, piers, posts and struts etc. complete all as specified and directed

M&L for rendering/plastering, 10mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Roughening surface of old concrete floor by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust, etc. complete all as specified and directed

M&L for Glazed ceramic coloured (colour & shade as approved) tiles non skid of size 400x400x7mm thick as in floor set and jointed in neat cement slurry over and including 15mm thick screed bed or bedding layer in cement mortar (1:6) and pointed in white cement with pigment to match the colour of tiles complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Item No-02 hereinbefore but as on vertical surfaces such as skirting/dado over and including 10 mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:4), complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Glazed ceramic coloured (colour & shade as approved) tiles non skid of size 300x300x7mm thick as in floor set and jointed in neat cement slurry over and including 15mm thick screed bed or bedding layer in cement mortar (1:6) and pointed in white cement with pigment to match the colour of tiles complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Glazed ceramic tiles, coloured (light colour as approved), of size 300x200x7mm thick on vertical surfaces such as in skirting/dado etc set and jointed in cement slurry over 10mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:4) and pointed in white cement with pigment to match the colour of tiles complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster or terrazzo from brick walls of any description including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:6) on any face of brick walls or concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls & applying two coats of Oil Bond Distemper on chalk whiting on plastered surfases complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down wooden chowkhats or frames with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frames) of size exceeding 1.50 Square metre and not exceeding 4 Square metre each. including cutting holes in brick walls of appropriate size for insertion of cement concrete blocks for hold fasts complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down shutter of any description of exceeding 1 sqm but not exc 2 Sqm complete all as specified and directed and as directed

S&F Pressed steel frames made of 1.25mm thick MS sheet of profile 105x60mm for door and window frames with one rebate including lock strike plate, shock absorber, 20mm dia 60mm long MS conduit for housing of a drop bolt, treating of internal surfaces of chowkhats with coal tar or black paint including hinges, hold fasts/lugs etc complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 34 above but size 125x60mm with double rebate. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Cement concrete (1:3:6), type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in filling of steel chowkhats including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Factory made, 35mm thick, 2nd class hard wood (Hollock), plain framed, panelled shutters (two panel) with lock rail and panel of 9 mm BWP, Commercial ply or 12mm veneared particle board with commercial veneering on both faces. The size of rail and stile as per IS: 1003(Pt-I) seasoned and chemically pressure treated).complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 35 mm thick, 2nd class hard wood glazed and skeleton shutters open rebated and prepared to receive glass/ gauge etc (without sash bars), edges of framing plain chamfered or rounded, fitted with cut and mitred beads for securing glass etc for doors, size of members as specifed in clause 8.24 (a) of MES Schedule Part-I Section-8, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Solid PVC door frame of size 50 mm x 47 mm made of 5 mm plain colour PVC sheet reinforced with mild steel square tube as specified in clause 8B.3.1 and shown on page 160 of MES Schedule Part-II (2010). complete all as specified and directed.
