Manning & Operation of ELECTRICAL SUBSTATION MAIN RECEIVING STATION (MRS) comprising of 250 KVA Transformer - 1 No., Gang Operated Air Break Switches, High Tension and Low Tension Electric Line, High Tension and Low Tension Panel Boards and Lodging and Attending Complaints as and when required to Maintain Un-interrupted Electric Supply within the specified Installations in THREE SHIFTS (Each Shift of 8 HOURS duration) PER DAY by providing ONE ELECTRICIAN (SKILLED LABOUR) & ONE HELPER (UNSKILLED LABOUR) PER SHIFT Continuous Round the Clock including Sundays & Holidays, complete all as specified and as directed. The Details of Manning & Operation of Installations also comprising the Works and other Conditions as mentioned here-in-after :-

Time Schedule for Operation of ELECTRICAL SUB-STATION MAIN RECEIVING STATION (MRS) INSTALLATION will be as directed by JE/Engineer-in-Charge.

Electrician & Helper engaged for Manning & Operation is responsible for Lodging Complaints in Complaint Register and Detailing the Manpower on Complaint Duty to attend the Complaints during 0600 Hours to 0600 Hours.

Electrician & Helper engaged for Manning & Operation is responsible to give Feedback of Details of Complaints Received, Attended and Pending with Reasons to Engineer-in-Charge/ JE E/M and Contractor during 0600 Hours to 0600 Hours.

Electrician & Helper engaged for Manning & Operation of Installation is responsible to maintain Daily Log Sheets for Electric Shut Down & Break Down Details.

Electrician & Helper engaged for Manning & Operation shall responsible for upkeep of Equipments and Maintenance of Installation in and around at all times.

Electrician & Helper shall carry out Daily visual checks of all OH Lines, UG Cables Termination Points and attend for any Minor Defects. if any abnormally/ fault/ breakdown observed during visual checks then immediately report to concerned JE E/M/ Engineer-in-Charge and Contractor. Early suitable action as deemed fit shall be taken by the Contractor with the concerned Engineer-in-Charge so as to avoid interruption in Electrical Supply System and any loss of Man and Materials.

Electrician & Helper on Complaint Duty is responsible to attend HT/LT OH UG Cable Receiving /distribution Lines.

Proper Documentations such as Log Sheets, Attendance Register, Complaint Register, etc. will be maintained as per procedure in vogue. Cost for the same will deem to be included in the Quoted Unit Rate. No Extra Amount shall be Paid separately on this account.

Proper Log Sheets and Register for Running of DG Set and Reason of Running to be Maintained.

Layout and Distribution Diagram of the Installations shall be prepared and displayed by the Contractor at each Sub-stations in consultation with JE E/M / Engineer-In- Charge on Pre-laminated Sheet Board of size 5'x3½'.

Contractor shall be responsible to keep the Installation Premises Neat and Clean on Every Day and maintain Seasonal Flower/ Decorative Plants in front for Sub-station including cutting of Grass Inside Fencing and Outside 3.0 Metre around Fencing of the Complex.

Pre-laminated Shock Treatment Chart 01 No. shall be made available in all Sub-stations.

Torch 01 No. with Torch Cell shall be made available in all Sub-stations.

First Aid Box with Kit with all Standard Medicines, Bandages, etc. shall be made available in all Sub-stations .

Materials such as Cotton Waste, Uniform/ Proper Dress i.e. Overall Combina-tion (Navy Blue Colour), Protective Clothing, Protective Shoes, Gas Masks, Gloves, etc. and Other Equipments as required for Maintenance, Manning & Operation of Installation will be arranged by the Contractor from his Own Sources for which Cost for the same will deem to be included in the Quoted Unit Rate. No Extra Amount shall be Paid separately on this account.

The Workmen shall be Minimum Eighteen Years of Aged at the Time of Appointment.

Minimum Qualification of the Electrician shall be Class-X Pass from a recognised Board and ITI Passed or Equivalent from a recognized ITI/NCVT in the respective Trade and the Helper shall be Class-X Pass from a recognised Board.

Quoted Unit Rate shall not be less than Minimum Wages as notified by Govt. of India/ Concerned State Government/ Local Body, whichever is Higher and also not less than applicable Rates for Contribution of Employer towards EPF, Contribution to ESIC, Contribution of Bonus and LWC under respective Headings/Sub-Items.

Manning & Operation of WATER SUPPLY INSTALLATION for PUMP HOUSE at NLP MIL STN comprising of Submersible Pump - 01 No., Booster Pump - 01 No., Chemical Dosing Pump - 01 No., Monoblock Set - 5 No., LT Switch Gear, etc. and Lodging and Attending Complaints as and when required to Maintain Water Supply to USER End within the specified Installations in THREE SHIFTS (Each Shift of 8 HOURS duration) PER DAY by providing ONE FGM (SEMI-SKILLED LABOUR) & ONE HELPER (UNSKILLED LABOUR) PER SHIFT Continuous Round the Clock including Sundays & Holidays, complete all as specified and as directed. The Details of Manning & Operation of Installations also comprising the Works and other Conditions as mentioned here-in-after :-

Time Schedule for Operation of WATER SUPPLY INSTALLATION will be as directed by JE/Engineer-in-Charge.

Installation comprising with Submersible Pumping Sets, Booster Pump Set, Decrine Dosing Pump, LT Switch Gear, etc. shall be manned Round the Clock including Sunday and All Holidays.

Operating (any type and capacity) to Maintain Supply the Water to the Users Time-to-Time (THRICE IN A DAY) and Maintaining the Timing as laid down.

Operating DG Set (Stand by) as and when required or Main Supply Goes Off including Maintenance (Daily Maintenance) of DG Set and Maintaining Daily Log Sheets. Proper Log Sheets, Register for Running of DG Set and Reason of Running to be Maintained.

Adding Bleaching Powder/Altoch GP/Sodium Hypochloride/Poly aluminium Chloride Powder as directed in the Water Main through Bleaching Dozer/ Chemical Dozing Pump installed at Pump House as per Requirement in order to get 1.00 PPM Residual Chlorine in Water at Source and 0.2 to 0.5 PPM Result at the Users End.

Maintaining the Consumption of Calciums for Water Treatment which will be issued under Schedule ‘B’ as ‘Free-For-Mixing’ and to Collect from MES Store Yard time-to-time as and when required.

Carry out Tightening of Nuts & Bolts, Replacement when required, applying Gland Packing and Greasing wherever required.

Carry out Weekly Maintenance of Electrical Panels installed in Pump House and intimate Engineer-in-Charge immediately for any Defects /Break Down/ Repairs required.

Proper Log Sheets for Running of the Pump & Plant to be Maintained.

Testing of Water Sample Twice in a Shift at the Outlet of Test Point and Recording Test Result in a Register and to be get signed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Manning & Operation of ALL VALVES on Main Distribution Lines of Over Head Reservoirs and on Distribution Water Supply Lines during the Water Supply Timing at NLP MIL STATION by providing ONE VALVE MAN (UNSKILLED LABOUR) in THREE SHIFTS (Total Working 8 HOURS only) PER DAY including Sundays & Holidays for Smooth Functioning of Water Supply to the User End, complete all as specified and as directed. The Details of Manning & Operation of Installations also comprising the Works and other Conditions as mentioned here-in-after :-

Working Hours/ Timings (EIGHT HOURS in THREE SHIFTS) will be decided by the JE/ Engineer-in-Charge and will be maintained in Attendance Register.

Carry out Daily Checking of Entire Water Supply Distribution System.

Reporting to JE-in-Charge about any Leakages noticed in the Distribution Pipes Lines including Over-follow from Service Tanks.

Carry out Tightening of Nuts & Bolts, Replacement when required, applying Gland Packing and Greasing wherever required.

Person(s) Employed by the Contractor will be Minimum Eighteen Years of aged at the Time of Appointment.

Minimum Qualification of the VALVE MAN shall be Class-X Pass from a recognised Board.

Quoted Unit Rate shall not be less than Minimum Wages as notified by Govt. of India/ Concerned State Government/ Local Body, whichever is Higher and also not less than applicable Rates for Contribution of Employer towards EPF, Contribution to ESIC, Contribution of Bonus and LWC under respective Headings/Sub-Items.
