Cleaning of carriageways by means of sweeping the accumulated sand, earth and all sorts of debris, uprooting plants and grass etc and removing the same within a lead of 5 km engaging 8 (Eight) labours everyday. The said labours will also perform the following work like cleaning of guuly pits, removing of chockage and cleaning of HDPE rain water pipes, expansion joints etc. The rates also includes cost of hire charges of wheel barrows, caution boards, brooms etc. Payments will be made on the basis of each days engagement of labours and their performing of the above work.

Supplying and wearing safety jacket, helmet by the labours while at work.

Supplying extra labours during emergent need including the monsoon period as and when necessary. [as per requirement of site conditions]

Disposal of building rubbish/ malba/ similar unseviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven storey height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing in there after. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc whatever required for inspection of work at required locations and approval of Engineer-in-charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured of payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. Note:- This item to bge used for maintenance work judicially, necessary deduction for scaffolding in the existing item to be done.

Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared.

Cleaning and desilting of gully trap chamber, including removal of rubbish mixed with earth etc. and disposal of same, all as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Portable Barricade in Construction Zone Installation of a steel portable barricade with horizontal rail 300 mm wide, 2.5 m in length fitted on a 'A' frame made with 45x45x5 mm angle iron section, 1.5 m in height, horizontal rail painted (c coats) with yellow and white stripes, 150 mm in width at an angle of 450, 'A' frame painted with 2 coats of yellow paint, complete as per IRC:SP:55-2001.
