Dismantling of flexible pavement by mechanical means and disposal of dismantled material up to a lead of 1 kilometre, as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate(size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ) to wet mix macadam (WMM)specification including premixing the material with water at OMC infor all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanicalpaverfinisher in sub- base / base course on well prepared surfaceand compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacityto achievethe desired density, complete as per specifications anddirections of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying tack coat using hot straight run bitumen of Viscosity grade VG-30(60/70) including heating the bitumen, spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler, cleaning and preparing the existing pavement surface as per specifications. (a) 0.75 kg per sqm

Providing and laying of Hot Mix Dense Bituminous Macadam(DBM) using crushed stone aggregate of quality, size and grading as (26.5 - 13.2 mm 40%, 13.2-4.75 mm 30% & 4.75 mm and below 28%) and 2% cement by weight of aggregates as filler of quality as specified and Viscosity Grade Bitumen and laid to specified levels, grade and camber as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including compacting with 8 10 tonne, preferably vibratory road roller of adequate capacity to achieve the specified values of compaction, strength, surface accuracy complete and execution [for tendering purpose VG bitumen of grade VG-30 shall be taken as 95 kg/m3 of mix supplied produced by Govt. Refineries and 2% cement by weight of aggregates as filler material].

Providing and laying of Hot Mix Dense Asphaltic Concrete(DAC) using crushed stone aggregate of quality, size and grading as specified and 2% cement by weight of aggregates as filler of quality as (13.2 - 9.5 mm 25%, 9.5 - 4.75 mm 40% & 4.75 mm and below 33%) and Viscosity Grade Bitumen and laid to specified levels, grade and camber as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including compacting with 8 10 tonne, preferably vibratory road roller of adequate capacity to achieve the specified values of compaction, strength, surface accuracy complete & execution. [for tendering purpose VG bitumen of grade VG-30 content shall be taken as 135 kg/m3 of mix supplied produced by Govt. Refineries and 2% cement by weight of aggregates as filler material].

Painting runway/taxi track/apron marking with adequate nos of coatsto give uniform finish with road marking paint of superior make asapproved by the Engineer-in-charge, i/c cleaning the surface of aildirt, scales, oil, grease and other foreign mater;al etc. and lining outcomplete.
