REPAIR AND MAINT OF HIGH MAST LIGHTS, AVIATION LIGHTS, HANGER LIGHTS, DISPERSAL LIGHTS, TERMAC LIGHTS AND CONNECTED E/M ITEMS AT AFS UNDER GE (AF) JORHAT

M&L for complete servicing of high mast light of any height and description for general checking, mechanical parts and electrical system maintenance complete all as specified and as directed for the followings :- (a) Checking and repair of head frame of the high mast poles fitted with wire ropes and cables. (b) Checking and repair of gear box for seal leakage. (c) Checking and repair of lift cables for frayed strands (d) Testing and repairing of lowering device and fully operate to fully down position. (e) Repair and maintenance of any mechnical devices as required. (f) Checking and repairing of all electrcial devices. (g) Checking and repair of luminaires box, control gear and junction box nad tightened properly. (h) Checking and reparing of all screws and nuts properly. Note : Major items like gear box and steel wire rope shall be measured and paid seperately.

Supply, fixing, testing and commissioning in replacement 3-5 inch double drum with gear box winch complete with motor double gear type, suitable for 30m high mast pole, 3 phase supple, 415 volt complete with rope and all accessories like wire lock GI thimbles rigging and GI U clamps complete including taking down carefully of old unserviceable set complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Necessary T&P required for completion of the job is deemed to be included with the quoted rate.

M&L for steel wire rope on high mast light of 8mm dia stainless steel/galvanised IWRC as per IS-2262/02 alongwith suitable size clamps and 'U' bolts for holding the high mast bracket at a height of 30m from normal ground level complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Necessary T&P required for completion of the job is deemed to be included with the quoted rate.

M&L for taking out burnt winding of 3 phase power tool electric motor of high mast fittings from any position, re-winding with super enamelled copper wire of existing size/gauge and varnishing, providing insulating paper and sleeves, etc. and testing for proper functioning on reinstating complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of any minor spares/parts.

M&L for electrical hoist cable of size 5 core x 2.5/4.0 sq.mm, round type or 8 core x 2.5 sq.mm, flat type made of strands of plain copper wires, core insulation of PVC based compound, core identification in accordance with VDE 0293 or equivalent, special cold resistant PVC outer sheath, black and flame retardant complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F as in repairs for twin dome aviation obstructing lights with two Nos. 100 W GLS lamps complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting/taking down unserviceable post top light and repair/checking and identifying of faulty spares wirings, cleaning of fittings, cover, etc. and re-assembling the same after repairing, testing and refixing in original position and reconnecting with electrical line complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Spare parts shall be measured and paid separately.

S&F as in repairs 20 watt LED post top with cool day white light effect and efficient light distribution and IP 65 protection with impact and corrosion resistant with driver including lamp complete all as specified and as directed. Make : Crompton, Cat No. LPTH-20-CDL or it's equivalent model from make as specified in Particular Specifications.

S&F as in repairs LED garden light, 20 watt with light effect and efficient light distribution and IP 65 protection with impact and corrosion resistant with available in B-22 holder of different wattage of lamps including 10 watt warm white LED bulb including civil work for foundation of garden light complete all as specified and as directed. Make : Magik, Cat No- OGFB00001044 or it's equivalent model from make as specified in Particular Specifications.

S&F as in repairs LED post top lantern, 40 watt, weather proof indirect lighting solution which improves horizontal uniformity with reduced glare and improved lighting control IP65 complete all as specified and as directed. Make : Crompton, Cat No. LPTC-40-CD or it's equivalent model from make as specified in Particular Specifications.

S&F as in repairs LED flood light fitting, 300 watt with pressure die cast housing acting as heat sink in order to ensure better performance of the luminaires including clamp, nut, bolt and other accessories for fixing including cable for connection complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down/out unserviceable or serviceable UG cable of any cross sectional area and connections including bricks, etc. of any descriptions, laid in trenches and/or fixing with walls /poles including segregating of serviceable materials viz bricks, cables, etc. and kept in safe custody for re-use complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Necessary excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for cable in trenches or passing through pipe, XLPE insulated cable, heavy duty, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric LT cable with stranded aluminium conductor for 1100 volts grade, cross sectional area 120 sq.mm, 3.5 core complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per Serial item No. 26 here-in-before but 95 sq.mm, 3.5 core.

M&L for relaying and re-routing of serviceable UG cable of any size and any type of cable up to 35 sq.mm, 2 core, 3.5 core and 4 core size complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Necessary excavation and earth work, sand, bricks and connected items shall measured and paid separately.

Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.50m wide and not exc. 1.50m in depth, including taking out cables, bricks, etc. and getting out as in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25cm thick in soft/loose Soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated materials (soils) not exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.50m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Laying only old serviceable bricks laid flat equal to width of bricks, perpendicular to UG cable over the dry sand cushioning for cable protection complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for sand cushioning (dry) in trenches for protection of UG cables (below, above and around the UG cable laid in trenches) of 230mm spread thickness and consolidated (punned) upto 180mm thickness complete all as specified and as directed. Note : For the purpose of payment, punning thickness of sand cushioning shall only be measured.

S&F sub-class 'B' bricks, well burnt, laid breadth-wise along the length of the cable, laid in trenches over sand cushion for UG cable protection complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F as in repairs on pole street light bracket fabricated out of 1.0m long, 40mm dia GI tubing, light grade, bent to shape as directed complete with mounting by MS clamps of flat iron of size 25x5mm of suitable length 02 pairs including nut, bolts, etc. of suitable size and painting to MS clamp with two coats of aluminium paints over and including one coat of red oxide metal primer complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F as in repairs polycarbonate unbreakable white globe doom, 8 inch dia in existing garden light pole complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F as in repairs lamp holder, PVC / Polycarbonate type with cord grip cap suitable for pendant fitting complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F as in reapirs LED bulb 7 watt, type B-22 complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F as in repairs 40mm bore GI pipe, light grade for protection of UG cable, laid in floors/road crossing, fixing to pole with mild steel clamps, nuts, bolts, etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Labour only for horizontal boring for passing protection pipe up to 80mm bore under road/foot path, not exc. 10m in a single length complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Pipe shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete for road complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in coping and footing for poles, etc. including use and waste of formwork complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for painting of LT electric pole, steel tubular pole (8.5m to 9m long) of any size, any pattern with one coat of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primer in full length of the pole and marking the pole with black and yellow strip (upto 1m length, 1m height in PCC coping alternatively including numbering the pole serially complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for painting of steel tubular trident/dwarf light pole of 2.5m to 5m long with two coats of synthetic enamel paint including numbering of pole No. by stensils after cleaning the surface of pole by rubbing with emery paper to remove rust, dust, etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F 40mm bore light density polyethylene pipe (LDPE) of pressure rating 6 kgf/cm2 fixed to walls, ceilings or in floors, etc. complete all as specified and as directed .

S&F street light timer panel suitable for fixing on street light pole/wall with all fixtures such as MCB, timer switch, internal wiring and including suitable stand complete all as specified and as directed. Make : Havells, Cat No. IHXTS03060 or equivalent model of make as specified in Particular Specifications.

M&L for earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode of size 600x600x6mm thick buried directly in ground with earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below ground level with top edge of plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level connected to GI wire 4mm dia earth lead by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts, washers of galvanized iron as steel, protected by galvanized iron pipe 40mm bore (medium grade) complete all as directed including cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) earth pit with precast RCC (1:1.5:3) type A-1 cover slab of size 42x42x10cm thick reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @ 15cm centre to centre both ways with 10mm dia mild steel round bar of 30cm long, bent to shape as lifting handle, funnel, wire mesh, 20mm bore galvanized iron pipe (medium grade) for watering, earth testing point, charcoal or coke and salt in alternate layers including necessary excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil complete all as shown in Electrical Plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I including testing on completion complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L straight through cable joint kit including jointing materials for making joints of UG electric cable, 1100 volts grade, heavy duty with PVC/XLPE insulated aluminium stranded conductor, nominal cross-sectional area 25 Sq.mm to 50 Sqmm, 3½/4 core and testing complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F for cable junction box of size 200x160x96mm, made out of thermoplastic, having IP 65 protection for outdoor installation fixed with 4 way bakelite cable terminals including 03 Nos polymide gland with check nut (M-32 -02 No & M-25 -01 No) fixed on poles with aluminium clamps of size 25x3mm, nuts, bolts, washers, etc. including taking out of old unserviceable cable junction box complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE : The contract sum shall be derieved by deducting the amount shown in Schedule of Credit attached to this tender from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ.
