REPAIRS TO ROOF TREATMENT TO CERTAIN BUILDINGS AT TECH AREA AT CVRDE AVADI

Disconnecting existing tanks of capacity exc 250 but n.exc 500 ltrs, setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning, etc. and hoisting if required reconnecting and re-fixing in position. (Cleaning repairing, etc. measured separately) complete all as specified and as directed.

Cleaning and removing all scales and dirt etc from Exc 250 liters capacity & n. exc 500 litres tanks and from mouth of circulating pipes of tanks and cleaned with bleaching powder including removing old painting letters not less than 10cm height and writing month and year with synthetic enamel paint on tank surfaces all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F Rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks, 500 ltrs capacity (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position including connectng to pipe and dismantling old tank all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

-Ditto- All as per ser item No 7 above but capacity 1000 Ltrs all as specified

-Ditto- All as per ser item No 7 above but capacity 2000 Ltrs all as specified

S&F PVC ball valves, 20mm dia bore, high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated Aluminium rod & highdensity plastic ball screwed for iron pipe and fixed. (Minimum weight 15mm-142gms/ 2 0mm-210gms./ 25mm-455gms/ 40mm - 690 gms) all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down or up old 20 mm dia steel tubing galvanised and connections including cleaning for refixing . all as specified and as directed

-Ditto-All as per ser No 11 above but 25 mm dia. all as specified and as directed

S&F Galvanised Steel water tubing of 20 mm bore, medium grade conforming to IS-1239 [Part-I] including all fittings such as bends, tees, short pieces, connectors, elbows, reducers, union, sockets etc fixed to walls (concealed), ceiling or laid on floors including testing complete all as specified and as directed.

Ditto- All as per ser No 13 above but 25 mm dia.all as specified

Refixing old 20 mm dia galvanised steel tubing and connections in new or old position (walls, flooring etc) all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Ditto- All as per ser No 15 above but 25 mm dia.all as specified

S&F Self driven stainless steel screws with washer of size not less than 25 mm long ad 4.0 mm dia screwed on curved surface roofing sheet of any type including taking down old screw complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- The work shall be carried out in workshop building (curve roof) at 15 - 20 meter from ground level. b) The rate quoted shall included necessary ladder, safety equipments / accessories required for the work.

Supply and pour silicon sealent (20-25ml per screw) on the screws of roof sheet of any type by means of injecting pressure gun to arrest leaking complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make: M/s Dr. Fixit / M/s Fosroc Chemical / M/s Sika India Pvt. Ltd. / M/s STP Limited. Note :- The work shall be carried out in workshop building (curve roof) at 15 - 20 meter from ground level. b) The rate quoted shall included necessary ladder, safety equipments / accessories required for the work.

Supply and pour hot bitumen on the screws of roof sheet of any type to arrest leaking complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- The work shall be carried out in workshop building (curve roof) at 15 - 20 meter from ground level) The rate quoted shall included necessary ladder, safety equipments / accessories required for the work.

Demolition of cement concrete in floors / roof surfaces including removal of old tar felt, plastering, concrete mugs, tiles etc up to the original RCC roof level all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 TYPE B0 using 12.5 mm graded aggregate (with mixing 2% WPC by weight of cement) on roof as levelling course, kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edgescomplete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- WPC Shall be measured and paid seperately.

Water proofing treatment with water base polyurethane modified dispersion shall be carried out all as specified as under: - (a) Mechanical cleaning of surface to make it free from any bituminous residue / dirt. Oil and greese etc all as directed by GE / Engineer-in-Charge. (b) Cracks treatment by cutting open cracks and cleaning it from dirt loose materials etc and filling with polyurethane based sealant with and including application of PU based primer all as directed by GE / Engineer-in-Charge. (c) Applying water based polyurethane modified dispersion (single component cold applied, non toxic, VOC complaint) in 03 coats including 01 coat of primer of same material after dilution of water at 50% or specific primer matching same material as per manufacturer specification and as directed by GE / Engineer-in-Charge. Properties of polyurethane based chemical shall be as follows: - (i) Highly elastic (ii) UV resistance (iii) Adhesion to concrete > 1N/Sqmm. (iv) Tensile strength - not less than 2.0N/Sq.mm for free film. (v) Elongation - not less than 300%. (vi) Solid content by weight - not less than 60%. (vii) Air / water perimeability BSEN 12390 at 5 bar - 72 hours should be NIL and minimum dry film thickness of water proofing membrane must be 1.0mm. (viii) Accelarated weathering (ASTM 453): Pass 1000 hours. (ix) Reaction to fire - non inflammable.

Note: (i) To be applied by the manufacturer's authorized applicator only. Contractor has to provide manufacturer's test certificate for the above mentioned technical parameters and purchase Vrs. (ii) Removal of existing treatment to be paid separately. (iii) Roof top to be ensured to avoid water ponding. (iv) For accessible terrace and inaccessible terrace, 300mm height of vertical surface / parapet wall to be treated with same specification of slab. Make: Bostik, Berger, Fosroc, or any other make approved by E-in-C's Branch for PU based water proofing treatment.

S&F PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed, 75mm dia, in any length, jointed with rubber ring joints, fixed with and including provision of necessary wall clamps / straps as in rain water pipes, incl taking down existing old pipe complete all as specifed and directed (Note :- Item No 20 to 30 of this schedule will be executed at an height of 15- 20 meter from Ground Level).

-Ditto-All as per ser No 23 above but 110 mm bore.all as specified.

S&F PVC (SWR) bends suitable for 75mm bore pipes, complete all as specified and directed.

-Ditto-All as per ser No 25 above but 110 mm bore.all as specified and as directed.

S&F PVC (SWR) shoe suitable for 110 mm bore pipes, complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F 75 mm bore PVC (SWR) junction single, (Single T) equal or unequal, complete all as specified and directed.

-Ditto- All as per ser No 28 above but 110 mm bore.

S&F in repair Gun-metal, globe or gate valves, with iron wheel head, screwed both end for iron pipe and fixed for 20mm bore pipe all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

-Ditto- All as per ser No 30 above but 25 mm bore.

Taking down cement plaster on brick walls including racking out joints, hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc. all as specified

M&L for rendering in CM 1:4, 15mm thick on external surfaces of concrete and brick masonry using water proofing compound and finished the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. (Note:- WPC measured and paid seperately.WPC will be mixed as per manufacturer's instructions).

M&L for preparation of new plasterd surfaces of wall and applying two coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489 : 2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm over new surfaces.
