REPAIRS/ REPLACEMENT OF TO HT VCB, TRANSFORMERS, UG CABLE AND CONNECTED ITEMS UNDER GE WELLINGTON

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation of poles, stays and laying cable/ pipe etc and getting out in hard dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and exceeding 1.50 but not exceeding 3.0m in depth for foundation of poles, stays and laying cable/ pipe etc and getting out in hard dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Riddled earth upto 20cm depth around cable for protection to be filled including spreading, levelling etc& punned down.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 m & depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HVP, Type 1, flat, size 300 x 180 x 40mm in trenches for protection of UG Cable with width equal to length of PCC cover, laid dry & flat complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation, filling and mass concrete etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation of poles and stays etc including necessary form work, weathering, slightly rounded of chamfered angles and throating etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in coping for poles and stays etc including necessary form work, weathering, slightly rounded of chamfered angles and throating etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for providing sand cushioning for protection of UG cable in trenches with riddled soil earth of approved quality including filling, spreading and punning down to desired thickness complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Riddled soil earth shall be approved by GE in writing before incorporation in work.

Dismantling of unserviceable/ broken electric pole of any size and type with disconnecting all connections, demolition of concrete foundation, earthwork excavations required and removing the same form the site etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and install steel tubular swaged poles 11 metre long, type 410SP-55 in true vertical position complete with cast iron base plate, final taper plug, bolts, nuts and screws, pole cap etc conforming to IS 2713 Part - 1 to 3) 1980 including painting with two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide and black bituminous paint on the hidden surface in foundation including drilling of holes for fixing of D Iron clamp and holes for continuous GI earth wire as required complete including dismantling of old unsv steel poles/ struts any size all as specified and as directed

Dismantling cross arms of mild steel channel or angle sections etc. complete and setting aside for reuse with in 50m etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint including dismantling of cross arms of MS channel or angle sections etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling insulators any type, any size complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix Pin type, porcelain vitreous brown insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, 150 mm height, 150 mm dia suitable for 11000 volts grade complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix Danger notice plate for HT of size 25 cm x 20 cm x 1.60 mm size, mild steel sheet, vitreous, powder coated, letters and figures and conventional skull & bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps bolts of required size complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling air break gang operated switches vertical/ horizontal mounted including insulators and operating mechanism for repair/ replacement of broken/ worn out components and insulators etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix Air Break, Gang operated Triple pole switches/ device, mechanically operated, mounted on 12 insulator and steel frame, with operating mechanism of GI tubing 25 mm suitable length worked from ground level with locking accessories complete for current rating up to 400 Amps for working pressure 11000 volts with drop out fuses including applying grease for male/ female contact and replacement of burnt termination grips etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for expulsion fuse (DO Fuse) single pole 11000 Volts, 100 Amps including dismantling the old unserviceable fuse etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, lay in trenches or fixed to wall / pole or passing through pipes or road crossing, testing and commissioning of HT XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 6.35/11KV (E) grade, suitable for earthed system, with aluminium conductor of size 95 Sqmm 3 core including taking down unserviceable HT cable of any type / size/ description , etc complete all specified and as directed. Note : Excavation & Earth work shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply and replace cable route indicator cast iron of dia 100mm duly embossed as HT 11 KV with 32mm x 6mm MS Angle welded and foundation with PCC 1:3:6, 20mm graded aggregate complete incl taking out old unserviceable cable route indicator all as specified and as directed. Note : The spacing between two consecutive cable route indicators shall not be more than 50.0 meters & also shall be provided at each & every bend or corner.

Supply and fix Cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for Outdoor termination cold shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured Al conductor cable of size 50 to 95 sq mm including taking out existing complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix Cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for Outdoor straight through cold shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured Al conductor cable of size 50 to 95 sq mm including taking out existing complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix GI pipe light grade of bore 100 mm with all running fittings laid in trenches, under road or fixing on wall/pole/ crossing drain/nallah etc. complete all as specified and directed. Note : Wherever GI Protection pipes are to be placed/ fitted above earth surface, cost of necessary clamping/ fixing arrangements to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-In-Charge is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates.

Material and labour Earthing complete with Galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (in vertical position) earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level with the top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 m below ground level and connected to GI earth strip 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts, and washers of galvanized iron including PCC pit & cover with suitable handle, including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, 20 mm dia medium grade galvanized steel tube for watering with one end fixed with suitable funnel and wire mesh, 40mm bore medium grade galvanized steel tubing for drawing earth lead GI strip protection & common salt, charcoal in alternate layers etc. complete all as shown in EP No 5 of SSR Part -I and testing on completion including taking down existing earthing etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Dehydration/ Filtration of oil used in Transformer and oil circuit breakers by means of high pressure vacuum filtration machine to achieve the required breaking capacity and die electric strength of not less than 45 KV for 2.5 mm Gap complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (a) Before commencement of filtration of oil, the electric strength of oil in each transformer/ OCB shall be tested and report be submitted to the AGE, If the test valves are not within the desire range, then the filtration of oil shall be carried out No separate payment for testing of oil shall be made if the oil of the transformer/ OCB is not filtered. (b) Contractor has to submit the details of the oil filtration machine to the department prior commencement of job for approval. (c) Contractor shall ensure that conservation tank is full of its level before starting the dehydration process. (d) Hire charges for machine and its transportation to the site are also deemed to be inclusive in the item rate quoted.

Supply and filling in Transformers with Transformer oil first hand of dielectric strength not less than 65 KV at 2.5 mm Gap, conforming to IS-335 including testing of BDV of Oil complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge/ GE.

Supply and fill silica gel in the Transformer breather assembly including taking out unserviceable gel etc. complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge/ GE.

Taking down existing unserviceable breather assembly of Transformer and supply and fix new breather assembly including sufficient silica gel etc. complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge/ GE.
