Consultancy for Soil Investigation for Construction of Security Wall for 8463 Sqm CG Land at Panambur, New Mangalore

PART -I MOBILISATION & DEMOBILISATION Making necessary arrangement for Mobilization & demobilization equipments,tools & plant, personnel etc for soil investigation and their removal after satisfactory completion of work in land including slushy areas Note: The rate includes errecting the set up at first borehole location Shifting of entire arrangement from one borehole to another bore hole location and setting of boring /drilling rig as required PART-II FIELD TESTS Boring 150 mm dia bore holes to any depth as per IS 1982 through following any type of soil/strata by using rotary drill method in terms of IS 1892, as shown in site plan. (Boreholes - 2 Nos) (i) Boring and collection of disturbed samples from boring as per the above II(a) upto refusal (Boring depth 12.00 M fron GL including depth in rock) (ii) Collection of undisturbed soil sample (UDS) at 3.0m intervals or at any change of stratas in 100mm bore thin walled tube including waxing, sealing, packing and transporting to the lab. (iii) Carrying out Standard penetration test (SPT) including collection of disturbed soil samples in bore holes at every 1.5m depth and submit the report with all requisite data. (iv) Collecting water samples from the bottom bore holes.

PART-IV LABORATORY TESTS AS PER IS: 1892 AND REPORTS (a) Laboratory tests (a) Conducting necessary tests on all collected samples which includes the determination of (For all 02 Bore holes) : (i) Atterburg limits (ii) Natural moisture content (iii) Wet and dry density (iv) Soil/Particle size using hydrometer analysis (v) Tri-axial shear test C&D (vi) Shrinkage limit (vii)Consolidation test (viii) Specific gravity test (ix) Crushing strength of rock samples, degree of weathering (CR Value) and ROD of rock samples (x) Permeability test (xi) Chemical analysis on soil samples (xii) Chemical analysis on water samples (xiii)Standard and Modified Proctor's density test (xiv) Vane shear test (xv) Salinity test (xvi) Grain size analysis,identification & classification of soil (xvii) Liquid limit, plastic limit, shrinkage limit, plasticity index, Swell pressure, Free Swell Index. (xviiI) Shear parameters (c-phi Analysis) (xiv) Depth of water table below ground level

(iv) Recommondations for open foundations ,SBC at D -1.5m,2m,2.5m,3 m,3.5m &4m considering the size of Building and configuration of the building. (bb). Type of foundation with size and depth (v). Recommondation of foundation report shall include through investigation of chances of Cliff/filled up spot/rock out crop Note: Ht of the Bldg -9.4 Mtrs (vi). If pile foundation are required then depth of pile foundation including dia of pile and pile capacity in compression, uplift & lateral loads shall be given for 300mm dia,400mm dia,450mm dia,500mm dia for underreamed piles and 450mm dia,500,550,600,650,700,750,800mm dia for long piles. (vii)Recommendations regarding type of foundation to be adopted & net SBC/ recommondation of SBC for raft foundation at suitable depth(ie depth of 04m) to be adopted shall be given. (vii)Recommondations shall be given regarding type of foundation to be adopted & net SBC/pile capacities to be adopted be given.
