construction of Naal to Bhog via Sabhyal road km 0/000 to 4/200 in district Shimla HP

Excavation in soil in hilly area in all heights and depths in all kinds of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necesary precautions against soil erosion, damages to hill side,water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side .Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) .All earth work in cutting/excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines ,grades,sides slopes,width,camber,super-elevation and level as shown on the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge in conformity with the requirement of MoRD technical specification for Rural Road, Section. 300 & 1600 to achive designed formation width including hauling and stacking of materials useful for constrcution at suitable sites safe manner and disposal of all surplus material to the approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load and animal transport and mechanical means along with its levelling, fine dressing and carriage of machineries, tools, equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour if required. During the mobilisation period, contractor should take the advanced x-sec in 15 m interval of whole road length in the presence of Engineer-in-charge or his representative. In case the advanced x-sec has been taken in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge representative, in that case the same has to be got approved from Engineer-in-Charge. The land for dumping sites shall be arranged by the contractors himself and nothing extra shall be paid on this account,filling of unevenness blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for smooth riding.The recovery for stones ,whether useful or 5866.29 (Five thousand eight hundred sixty six point two nine) cubic metre at the rate of Rs 300/-only (Rupees three hundred only ) per cubic meter shall be effected on prorata basis in all circumstances .Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor ,which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Construction of 1st layer Bio enzyme (100 mm) based soil stablised layer (accredited by IRC) to a required thickness as per manufacturer design with local soil material/gravel/murram, having CBR greater than Equal to 5% and treating it with Bio Enzyme in the ratio 1L for 12.5 cum soil , spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface. mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density complete as per technical specification incl all labour, materials, like soil and metal, equipments etc., complete, including Supervision (Supervisor shall be provided by Bio Enzyme Vendor) as per the directions of the Engineer incharge of the work . Bio Enzyme Supervisor accomodation, food and local transport will be in scope of Contractor.The soil will have clay percentage by hydrometry between 8% to 30%, including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and fixing of Maintenance Board as per MORD specifications and drawing. MS Plates of 1.6 mm thick 900 mm x 1500 mm welded over 6mm thick steel plates. 2 nos. 75mm x 75 mm of 12 SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 nominal mix 1:2:4 ( one cement : two sand : four graded stone aggregate) grade blocks of 450mm x 450mm x 600mm, 600mm below ground level. All M.S. will be stove enameled on both sides. Lettering and printing arrows, border etc. will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. Providing and Fixing pavement marker (Cat eyes) made out of ABS 3 M (three) plastic of size 128x110x29.5 mm ( one hundred twenty eight into one hundred ten into twenty nine decimal five millimetres) without nail having 50mm ( fifty millimetres) stem of ABS. The pavement marker shall be installed with epoxy ABS including carriage of materials and equipment with all mode of transportation and as per direction of MORD Specification section 1700 & Engineer-in-charge.The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax or any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Providing and fixing road side delineator of height 600mm (six hundred millimetre) made of MS pipe of size 50mm (fifty millimetre) of 1.6 SWG having High intensity micro prismatic reflective sheeting confirming to ASTM type-XI upto 300mm length Balance 300mm (three hundred millimetre) It shall be painted with synthetic enamel paint of alternate colour black & white strips. It shall be fixed with 30 x 30 x 30cm (thirty into thirty into thirty centimetre) block with cement concrete 1:2:4 (one cement isto two sand isto four graded crushed stone aggregate 20mm (twenty millimetre) nominal size as per specifications complete as per direction of Engineer – in- Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental .
