TENDER FOR PROVIDING COMPOUND WALL FOR THE CHENNAI PORT LAND AT MAPPEDU NEAR SRIPERUMBUDUR

1) Earth work excavation in ordinary soil, sand, clay mixed with roots, boulders weighing individually less than 250 Kg, debris, rubbish etc., upto 1.5m depth as existing at site of work for foundations and other such works as directed including dressing of sides ramming of bottom all as per relevant specification, drawings and as directed, including depositing the excavated earth within a lead of 50 m for transportation/ refilling including shoring, strutting, if any, including all labour, tools, tackles,equipments, fuel etc., complete.

2) Supplying and filling the C.S.Sand / M.sand in foundation for compound wall and wherever required all as directed at site of work including levelling, consolidating including all materials, labour, tools, equipments, etc., complete.

3) Providing and laying Plain Cement Concrete of mix 1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 C.S.sand (M.sand): 8 hard granite graded stone aggregate of 40 mm nominal size) in volumetric proportions for levelling course in foundaion for compound wall and wherever required as per relevant specification, drawing and as directed including mixing, transporting, placing, ramming, consoildating, shuttering, if any, curing etc., including all materials, labour, equipments, tools, plants, fuel etc., complete.

4) Providing and laying 1:1.5:3 (1 Cement: 1.5 C.S.sand (M.sand) : 3 hard granite graded stone aggregate of 20mm nominal size) in volumetric proportions for R.C.C Column footings all as per relevant specifications drawings and as directed including mixing, transporting, shuttering, placing, vibrating, curing etc., including all materials, labour, strutting, tools, plants, equipments, machinery, fuel etc., complete. Note: Steel reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item.

5) Providing and laying 1:1.5:3 (1 Cement: 1.5 C.S.sand (M.sand) : 3 hard granite graded stone aggregate of 20mm nominal size) in volumetric proportions for R.C.C Columns below ground level all as per relevant specifications drawings and as directed including mixing, transporting, shuttering, placing, vibrating, curing etc., including all materials, labour, strutting, tools, plants, equipments, machinery, fuel etc., complete. Note: Steel reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item.

6) Providing and laying 1:1.5:3 (1 Cement: 1.5 C.S.sand (M.sand) : 3 hard granite graded stone aggregate of 20mm nominal size) in volumetric proportions for R.C.C plinth beam all as per relevant specifications, drawings and as directed including mixing, transporting, shuttering, placing, vibrating, curing etc., including all materials, labour, strutting, tools, plants, equipments, machinery, fuel etc., complete. Note: Steel reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item.

7) Providing brick work in CM 1:4 (1 cement: 4 C.S.sand (M.sand) ) of approved quality of bricks of class designation 50 for compound wall brick pillars as directed at site of work all as per relevant specification, drawings and as directed, scaffolding, curing including all materials, labour, tools, equipments, transport, fuel etc., complete.

8) Providing Half brick work in CM 1: 4 ( 1 cement : 4 C.S.sand (M.sand)) approved quality of bricks of class designation 50 for compound wall, Security bunk and wherever required, curing all as directed including all materials, labour, scaffolding, tools, equipments etc., complete.

9) Refilling with available excavated earth (excluding boulders, rubbish, debris etc.,) in sides of foundation in layers not exceeding 200mm, thick as per relevant specifications and as directed including consolidating the deposited earth in layers by watering and ramming including all labour, tools, equipment, etc., complete.

10) Preparing the external and internal surfaces of walls and providing plastering in cement mortar 1:5 (1 cement: 5 fine river sand) 12 mm thick to the required finish for compound wall, Security bunk and wherever required, all as per relevant specification, drawings and as directed including curing all materials, labour, scaffolding, tools, equipments etc., complete.

11)Supplying, fabricating and placing in position HYSD (Fe 415 /500 grade) Ribbed tor steel / TMT bars as reinforcements for all RCC works wherever required, including handling, cutting, bending, and tying with 1.25mm dia black annealed steel binding wire including placing, all as per relevant specification, drawings and as directed including all materials, labour, tools, equipments, transport, fuel etc., complete. Note:- 1.The rate shall be inclusive of cost of reinforcement steel, binding wire and fabrication charges etc., complete. Binding wire will not be measured for payments purpose. 2. The contractor will be allowed to use Fe500 Grade TMT steel bar without claiming any extra cost.

12) Preparing the newly plastered Exterior wall surfaces and Painting with one coat of exterior primer (ACE) or equivalent of approved colour to give an even shade all as directed including all materials, labour, scaffolding, tools, equipments, brushes, etc. complete.

13) Preparing the Exterior wall surface and painting with two coats of emulsion (ACE) or equivalent of approved colour to give an even shade on the new compound walls by scrapping and removing the dust particles from the walls and as directed including all materials, labour, scaffolding, tools, equipments, brushes, etc., complete.

14) Providing and fixing good quality single leaf factory made solid PVC rigid foam paneled door (Manufactured by M/s. Rajshri or Qute or equivalent ) of approved section to suit the openings of doors with main frame, shutter frame and panels made out of extruded 5mm thick rigid PVC foam sheet mitered at corners and fixing the doormain frame on the masonry wall surfaces with 100mm long screws, all as per manufacturer’s specification and as directed at site, including all materials, fittings, labour, scaffolding, transport, fuel, tools, equipments, etc.,complete.
