ADDITION ALTERATION AND SPECIAL REPAIRS TO CERTAIN BUILDING AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS AT JHANSI MILITARY STATION

Demolition of cement concrete incl terrazo flooring (un-reinforced) in ground floor and paving not exceeding 15cm thick (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75 mm thick cement concrete type D2 1:4:8 (using 40 mm graded stone agg) in sub base of flooring/ hard standing , finishing surfaces of concrete even and fair complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 25mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) in flooring, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75 mm thick cement concrete type C2 1:3:6 (using 40 mm graded stone agg) as in plinth protection and path laid in panels, not more than 3.0 mtr in length, laid to slope 1:30 incl forming joints 10mm wide and duly filled with mastic bitumen (01 part bitumen mixed with 03 parts of sand), complete all as specified and as directed. (Note : The quoted rates are deemed to be inclusive of material against form work and joint fillings.)

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Non skid ceramic coloured tiles , 7 to 8 mm thick (square / rectangular) area of each tile exc 0.06 sqm but n.exc 0.11 sqm as in flooring etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match over and including 15 mm thick screed/ bedding layer in CM (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for glazed ceramic coloured tiles in vertical surface of size 350 X 250 x 7/450x300x7 mm thick set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match tiles with and including 10 mm thick rendering in CM (1:4) for receiving the tiles, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for joint free non-skid colour ceramic tiles 8 to 10 mm thick (square/rectangular) area of each tile not exceeding 0.36 sqm, in floors etc set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match over and including 15mm thick screed bed or bedding layer in CM 1:6 complete all as speciefied and directed.

All as per item Ser No 9.00 but on vertical surfaces such as skirting/dado over and including 10mm thick rendering (backing coat) in CM 1:4,complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling stone slabs and tiles of any description or thickness laid , bedded and pointed in any mortar as in floors, aprons etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for factory made machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block of any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 60 mm thickness, M-35 Grade with coloured pigment made of PVC moulded (or rubber mould) with vibrating system, with and including 50mm thick sand cushioning, including plastering in CM (1:3) to external edges of paver block, complete all as specified and directed. (Note : The cost of sand cushion and plastering to edges is included in quoted rate.)

M & L for machine cut kota stone slab flooring 18-20mm thick over cement screed base laid and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing and mirror polishing including over and including 15 mm thick screed bed in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Kota stone slabl in steps shall be placed in single piece with visible edges chamfered & provided with two grooves at front edges and cost for mirror polishing is included in quoted rate.

M & L for machine cut kota stone slab 15-18 mm thick in riser of steps, skirting, dado and pillar laid over cement screed and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing and mirror polishing including 10 mm thick backing coat in CM 1:3 complete all as specified and directed. Note: Kota stone in Step will be placed in single piece.

M&L for 18-20 mm thick granite slab of any type , tabled rubbed, machine cut, duly grinding, polishing, moulding etc of all outer edges / sharp corners, duly fixed in steps, jambs, pillars, window cills, cooking platforms and like in cement mortar (1:4), incl pointing in grey cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with the shade of slab, complete all specified and directed.

Dismantling timber scantling 40.0 sqcm and over in section in any position as in framed / unframed works such as roof purlins, rafters, fillets, ridges etc as in roof/ ceiling, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L 18/19 mm thick factory made single extruded WPC (Wood Polymer Composite) solid board one side white color and other side of board laminted with PVC foil of minimum 14 micron thickness of approved design pasted with hot melt adhesive for cup boards, work stations, kitchen cabinet etc. of required sizes comprising of virgin polymer of K value 58-60 (Suspension Grade), calcium carbonate and natural fibers (wood powder/ rice husk/wheat husk) and non toxic additives (maximum toxicity index of 12 for 100 gms) having minimum density of 650 kg/cum and screw withdrawal strength of 1800 N (Face) & 900 N (Edge), minimum compressive strength 50 N/mm2, modulus of elasticity 850 N/mm2 and resistance to spread of flame of Class A category with property of being termite/borer proof, water/moisture proof and fire retardant and fixing with supply of stainless steel piano hinges/soft close clip on concealed hinges of required size with necessary full body threaded star headed counter sunk S.S screws, including dismantling of old boarding, cupborad any description, fixed in any position including fittings, complete all as specified and directed. Note: stainless steel piano hinges/soft close clip on concealed hinges shall be paid separately

Demolition of brick work built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with old size fly ash bricks, straight or curved on plan exc. 6 M mean radius built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 10 mm thick rendering in CM (1:6) on fair faces of brick work/concrete surfaces finished even & smooth (without using extra cement) including taking down cement plaster on brick or stone wall,dado and skirting etc including racking out joints hacking for key scrubbing down with water, etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15mm thick rendering in two coats (1st coat 10 mm thick in CM 1:6 & 2nd coat 5 mm thick in CM 1:4 with WPC) on fair faces of brick work/concrete surfaces, finished even & smooth (without using extra cement) including taking down cement plaster on brick or stone wall,dado and skirting etc including racking out joints hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed. Note: WPC in 5 mm thick 2nd layer plaster measured and paid separately.

M&L for 5 mm thick rendering in CM (1:3) on fair faces of concrete surfaces in ceiling finished even & smooth (without using extra cement) including taking down cement plaster on concrete surfaces, etc including hacking for key scrubbing down with water, etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 10 mm rendering thick in CM (1:6) on fair faces of brick work/concrete surfaces finished even & smooth (without using extra cement), complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in two coats (1st coat 10 mm thick in CM 1:6 & 2nd coat 5 mm thick in CM 1:4 with WPC ) on fair faces of brick work/concrete surfaces, finished even & smooth (without using extra cement), complete all as specified and directed. Notes: WPC in 5 mm thick 2nd layer plaster measured and paid separately.

M&L for preparation of new plastered wall surface and applying two coats of oil bound distemper, over a coat of water based primer over and incl a layer 1mm thick of wall care putty to get even and smooth level finish on new plastered surface of internal wall, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of 100% premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint (weather proof) of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm over old surfaces. complete all as specified and directed. Note : The contractor shall produce batch certificate & delivery challans directly from paint manufacturer to establish the authenticity of the material. The batch testing certificate shall be brought at the site along with paint manufacturer's drums with seal intact.

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment by brushing, washing, rubbing down, scraping from old treated surfaces of wall and applying two coat of oil bound distemper over a coat of water based primer, over a layer of (JK/Birla) 1.0 mm thick wall care putty to get smooth and level finish, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment by brushing, washing, rubbing down, scraping from old treated surfaces of ceiling and applying three coat of white wash (lime) on ceiling surfaces complete all as specified and directed .

Taking down chowkhats or frames with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frame) area exc 1.5 sqm but not exceeding 4 sqm each including cutting holes in brick/ stone wall built in cement / lime mortar, depth of embedded portion into wall exc half brick but n.exc one brick for inserting new hold fast and making good the disturbed portion/surfaces, in CM 1:3 or cement concrete 1:2;4 type B-1 as reqd complete all as directed.

All as per item Ser no 39.00 but not exc 1.5 sqm each

Taking down shutters of any description not exc 01 Sqm each, complete all as specified and directed.

S & F for Factory made double extruded WPC (Wood Polymer Composite) solid door/ window/ Ceosetory windows & other Frames/Chowkhat of size 65x125 mm comprising of virgin PVC polymer of K value 58-60 (Suspension Grade), calcium carbonate and natural fibers (wood powder/ rice husk/ wheat husk) and non toxic additives (maximum toxicity index of 12 for 100 gms) fabricated with miter joints after applying PVC solvent cement and screwed with full body threaded star headed SS screws having minimum frame density of 750 kg/ cum, screw withdrawal strength of 2200 N (Face) & 1100 N (Edge), minimum compressive strength of 58 N/mm2, modules of elasticity 900 N/mm2 and resistance to spread of flame of Class A category with property of being termite/borer proof,water/ moisture proof and fire retardant and fixed in position with MS hold fast/ lugs/SS dash fasteners of required dia and length complete all as specified and directed. M&L of water proofing treatment to non-accessible roof slab with APP based modified polymeric membrane reinforced with polyester non woven fabric having minimum thickness 3mm, weight not less than 3kg/Sqm as per manufacturer’s instructions laid with torch application complete all as specified and directed with following course of description below:- (a) 10 mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 with WPC (liquid water proofing compound @ 0.20 Ltr/bags(50 Kg Bag)) will be applied over the roof slab (subjected to condition as mentioned in notes) . After the plaster is cured the roof will be tested for water tightness by ponding with water for seven days for any seepage is observed the rectification will be carried out by pressure grouting under the pressure of 5kg/sqcm using cement based grout. After the surface is repaired the slab will be tested for water tightness again before proceeding with further treatment. (b) the surface of roof, parapet and gutters, drain mouths, etc. over which waterproofing treatment is to be applied shall be cleaned of all foreign matter such as, fungus, moss, dust etc by wire brushing and dusting. For cast iron drain outlets a groove shall be cut around to tuck in the treatment. Concrete angle-fillets shall be provided at junctions between roofs and vertical faces of walls (parapet and other walls) around obstacles such as pipes, chimney stacks, etc. and other similar situation to ease up about corners.

(c) Bitumious based primer confiorming to IS: 3384 @ 0.3 kg/Sqm to be applied on prepared surface, till the surface is propely impregnated. (d) After the application of approved bituminous primer the water proofing membrane shall be laid on the primed surface by torch application method as per manufacturer's instruction. The overlap while torching shall be 100mm in longitudinal direction and 100 mm in transverse direction. All overlap joints shall be sealed thoroughly by thermo fusing both the membrane layer and sealing it with the help of hot trowel. The overlap joints shall be made as a monolithic layer. (e) All joints and changes in direction should be curved with cement mortar 1:3 mixed with SBR latex @ 200ml per bag of cement and cured well before laying the membrane. (f) after apllication of APP membrane two coat of bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.20 Kg/Sqm over APP membrance will be applied. Note : The cost of all items i.e. from Sr No. (a) to Sr No.(f) are included in quoted rate and no separate payment will be done for the above except liquid WPC.

Material and labour for Double wall corrugated HDPE pipe, ISI marked of outer dia 50mm, inner dia 38mm with smooth internal and profiled external surface, non-pressure type, laid in trenches/floors/duct or fixed on walls /pole including all connections, accessories like socket, couplers, bends, etc for protection of LT cable XLPE grade 1100 volts complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 m depth for laying of GI Pipe and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down old and unserviceable existing earth plates and GI pipes and all connected accessories of any size / type of earth plate & GI pipe complete all as specified. Taking down old unserviceable earthing and M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode size 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically in a pit of depth not less than 2.25 mtr below ground levels with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level surrounded from all sides by mixture of charcoal and common salt and electrode connected to and including galvanized earth lead wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized steel and GI pipe medium grade 20 mm dia bore for watering funnel with wire mesh, 15 mm dia GI pipe light grade for earthing electrode protection, CI cover with frame, PCC chamber pit with PCC (1:3:6 ) type C- 1, 40 mm thick precast RCC M-25 (Design Mix) cover reinforce with 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 10 cm c/c both ways and lifting handle, excavation and earth work all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I (2009) connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion.

Note:- (i). Excavation, returning filling and removing of surplus soil is deemed to be included in the unit rate. (ii) Cost of PCC pit, RCC Pit cover with funnel & wire mesh, water pipe, test point is demmed to be included in the unit rate in addition to Item No.1(a) to 1(e) of premeable (Notes) under sub-heading earthing, specified in SSR Part-II. (iii) The unit rate also includes the cost of GI earth lead and GI pipe for protection of earth strip up to 7.5 metre (any variation in length shall be adjusted through deviation order). (iv) PCC pit shall be provided at least 500 mm away from the pit and not on the earth pit itself and the extra cost of additional length of watering pipe, bends, elbow etc shall be deemed included in the unit rate.
