Preparing of existing old black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen of grade VG-10 @ 5 Kg per ten square metre complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam consolidated thickness 75mm or less using Hot Mix Plant for mixing and using mechanical paver for laying, laid, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using binder (paving bitumen VG-30) with 4% by weight of total mix complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Work shall be executed as per design mix by Govt approved lab (NABL)/Govt Engg College as approved by GE. (ii) Any variation in binder content during design mix at site on plus side shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to the Government.

M&L Providing bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness with minimum 5.5 % binder content by weight of total mix, using paving bitumen VG-30 using hot mix plant and laid by using mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Work shall be executed as per approved design mix from NABL Govt approved lab /Govt Engg College as decided by GE. (ii) Any variation in binder content during design mix at site on plus side shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to the Government.

Surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L broken stone or boulders hardcore of gauge not exceeding 63 mm,deposited ,spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L 100 mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in hard standing, floor , sub base or mass concrete, surface finished even and fair complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparing the bituminous/concrete surfaces by removing or cleaning of all dirt, scales, oil grease and foreign materials etc complete as directed and providing 2.5 mm (minimum) thick hot thermoplastic paint (Retro reflective type) for road marking in white/yellow shade by fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine, fitted with profile shoe, gun, beads dispenser, propane tank, heaters and profile shoe, heater driven by skilled operator on road surfaces complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) Road marking work shall be carried out in accordance with manufacture's instructions and as specified. (ii) Refer MORTH specification of Para 803.4.2.1 and 800.4.2.2 on bituminous surface in white colour or yellow colour and super imposed with glass beads confirming to BS 6088 and MORTH specification Para 803.4.3.3

Removing excavated material (soils) to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.
