General Notes for item No. 1.00 to 30.00:- (i) water proofing treatment shall be carried out by authorised applicator only, necessary approval shall to be taken from GE before commencement of work. (ii) Material required for water proofing treatment shall be procured and kept in site before taking down old treatment, after removing old roof treatment shall be covered with water proof cover till laying new treatment. (iii) Mother slab, shall be made clean and neat by buffing to complete satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Demolition of cement concrete as in roofs, floors (other than ground floors), beams stair cases, landing, chajjas and similar suspended work complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of existing roof treatment including tar felt/cement plaster/concrete tiles/stone slabs/brick tiles etc from roof surfaces upto mother slab including cleaning the surface and removing the debris from site complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for Plain Cement Concrete Type B0 1:2:4 (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) as in padding concrete, coving of vertical junctions on roof top incl dismantling old loose /cracked cement concrete complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for brushing neat cement slurry with 3 Kg of cement per Sqm over the RCC slab and sides complete all as directed by Engineer -in- Charge.

M&L for rendering 10mm in CM 1:3 over concrete surfaces on RCC roof slab and parapets mixed with WPC @ 2% by weight of cement shall be carried out complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : WPC will be measured under separate item of this schedule.

Providing and carry out water proofing treatment to sound, moisture free concrete surface system includes proper surface preparation to remove loose dust, dirt, loose mortar, curing compound etc carry out cementitious injectiongrouting at leakage points and construction joints using cement slurry modified with Cebex 100 plasticised expandive ground admixture supplies in 225 gm pouch,treatment of construction joints using polymer modified mortar prepare by using Nitobond SBR latects, application of polymer modified batta at floor, wall junction, filling of annular space around rain water outlet using conbextra GP2 non shrink cementoinous grouts. Andulated surface and pot hole shall be treated with epoxy mortar or putty to obtained sound/ levelled surface. M&L for 15 mm thick 1:3 CM plaster with WP compound, Application of Armstrong Rain seel coat with rapidstrong 31 or equalent as per manufacturers specifcation and Application of primer Nito proof WB primer on sound mortar slab surface. Followed by application of coat of Nito proof 600 PF liquid applied single component pitch free polyurithane coating supplied in 25 kg drum coverage @ 2.30 Kg/ m2 to achieve 1.5mm thickness in two coats complete incluidng all tools and tackles as per manufacturers specifcation. Coating shall be having crack bridging of 2mm, elongation ( ASTMD 124 ) greater than 600 percentage, tensile strength ( ASTM D412) , 2.5 N/MM2 , recovery from elongation ( ASTM D412) , 95 percentage, 85 percentage of solid contantents, tear resistance ( ASTM D624) , 15 KN/M, shore A hardness ( ASTM D2240) , 60, water vapour transimission not more than 1 gm / M2 ,water permeability ( DIN -1048) - NIL, services tempreature - 40'c to 70 dgree 'c , flash point greater than 70'C HSE guidelines:-It is recommanded to provide adequate general and local exhaust ventilations, providing protection to Eye, face, Hand and other skin by wearing appropriate glouse, google, face cilid, respiratory protection etc., directed in SDS of the product. Note: Roof treatment shall be carriedout through authorised applicator of manufacturer only. Stage passing shall be taken at every stage of roof treatment. Make: - Bostik, Berger, Fosroc, Sika, Asian or any other make approved by E-in-C’s Branch for PU based water proofing treatment.

Cement concrete tiles 25cm x 25cm x 20mm thick, m a c h i n e pressed; set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in roofs with white cement & pigment, and cut and polished complete, on 15 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand). and dismantling of existing tiles complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cutting grooves in brick wall 75mm wide and 65mm deep and sweeping horizontal face of groove with cement mortar (1:3) and making good in CM 1:3 after inserting membrane into the groove complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for cutting out cracks to 'V' - section in existing roof or terracing, cleaning out, wetting grouting with cement and sand slurry (1:3) .

M&L for brick work built in CM (1:4) with sub clas 'B' bricks, old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius Demolition of brick work built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars complete .

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick work finished even and smooth w/o using extra cement taking down cement or cement lime plaster complete all as specified.

M&L for preparation of Newly plastered surface and applying two coats of exterior antifungal exterior paint as per manufacturers instructions over a coat of true care exterior wall primer over two coats of external birla putty 1.5mm thick each layer each to level the surface and finished smooth with emery paper No.180 followed by emery paper No.320 or 400 and wipe it clean complete all as specified and as directed by Eng-in-charge. Disconnecting existing tanks of exc 500 & n exc 1000 ltr capacity , setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning, etc. and hoisting if required reconnecting and re-fixing in position. (Cleaning repairing, etc. measured separately) complete all as specified and as directed.

Cleaning and removing all scale and dirt, etc, from tanks of exc 500 & nesc 1000 ltr capacity and from mouths of circulating pipes, etc including marking date of cleaning with synthetic enamel paint.

M & L in repairs rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks capacity 1000ltr (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR Part I complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down and refixing old steel tubing of 25 mm bore and connections in new or old position duly cleaning (Walls, ceiling, floors, etc.) complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F 25 mm bore Tubes, 'medium grade' galvanised, with all fitting and fixed complete to walls and ceilings or laid in floors etc including takind down old tubing complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down and refixing old steel tubing of 20 mm bore and connections in new or old position (Walls, ceiling, floors, etc.) complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F 20 mm bore Tubes, 'medium grade' galvanised, with all fitting and fixed complete to walls and ceilings or laid in floors etc including taking down old tubing complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down and refixing old steel tubing of 15 mm bore and connections in new or old position (Walls, ceiling, floors, etc.) complete all as specified and as directed

S&F in repairs PVC SWR pipe 110mm dia pipe single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints fixed to walls complete all as specified & directed.

S&F 110mm PVC (SWR )bends with access door of any radius all as specified & directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete is (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) as in roofs, floors (other than ground floors), beams stair cases, landing, chajjas and similar suspended work .

M&L Pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of an colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws as specified including taking down old AC sheet.

S&F framed work such as grills, gratings, etc with ends of bars shouldered and/ or riveted, or forged into spikes, framed guard bars, barred iron doors, ladders, framed balusters walk ways, railing, frame work of water tanks and similar works conforming to Fe-290, Gde -E- 165 including dismanting existing steel work complete all as specified and as directed.
