Note:- (a) The rates include for all straight cutting and waste. Raking or circular cutting and waste shall be measured separately. M&L for Providing and laying 80 mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-30 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50 mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with fine sand and cutting of paver block as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand incl dismantling of old paver block and rubbish off the premises or removing to store complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required incl demolition of old unreinforced kerb stone complete all as specified and directed. (Note :-Rates include for all cutting and waste and work in all positions as well as in narrow widths.)

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.50 mm graded aggregate as in sub-base flooring 25 mm thick surface finished even and rough to receive the topping layer incl demolition of old unreinforced sub base pcc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The rates of cement concrete in flooring include for: (i) Use and waste of form work/screed strips and to divide the area in panels. (ii) Finishing surfaces of concrete topping even and fair (without using extra cement), and finishing surfaces of concrete in sub-floors, sub-bases, etc. even and rough to receive the topping layer. (iii) Finishing exposed edges fair or rounding or chamfering of exposed edges, where directed. (iv) Laying concrete in narrow widths, risers, treads, landings and the like.

M&L for preparation of new or previously untreated concrete surfaces of any description over 10 cm girth or width not otherwise described and applying two coats of Plastic emulsion paint over priming paints plaster coat complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparing surface including cleaning the concerned RCC surface by means of wire brush to expose the concrete surface which should be free from all loose particles, dust, laitance, etc of sunken slab and applying 15 mm thick cement plaster 1:4 cement sand mortar with integral water proofing compound both on floor and wall. The surface shall then be cured and allowed to dry then applying Epoxy Resin coating polymer modified cementitious coating like brush bond of Fosroc, Pidilite and Bostic as per manufacturer's instructions both on floor as well as on wall and sunken floor shall be filled with graded cinder as per requirement of site complete all as specified. Note : The Rates includes for (a) Thickness of plaster key in joints, etc. (b) Arrises, chamfers of any width, internal rounded angles upto 80mm in width or girth external rounded angles upto 80mm in width or girth, except in the case of mud plaster and leeping where angles etc. of any girth are included. (c) All labour and equipment necessary for incorporating integral waterproofing compound in the manner specified by the manufacturer and in the proportions indicated. (f) Cleaning stains and dripping mortar from floors and walls, etc. (g) Making corner fillets with Polymer modified cementitious (PMC) mortar (PMC:C:M :: 1:2:4 by weight) at all joints of horizontal and vertical surface and doing bore packing with PMC mortar (h) Joints of pipes and concrete/masonry are to be sealed with epoxy putty or epoxy mortar (PMC:C :: 1:2 by weight) and the same is semi-rounded upto 5mm above surface level all along the periphery of PVC pipes.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded brick coarse aggregate as in sunken floors incl demolition of old sunken floor in neat and clean stage etc complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- (a) The quantity of concrete shall be taken as the net volume only of finished work. (b) Rates for cement concrete made with brickcoarse aggregates are applicable for volumetric mixes only.)

M&L Modular Brick work with Fly Ash bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in CM 1:6 incl demolition of old brick work or stone/ boulder masonary built in cement mortar including all quions, arches, pillars, etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :-(a) Picking, cleaning, sorting out etc. small articles such as wall ties, clamps, holding down bolts etc. not exceeding 3 kg each, which come out as a result of demolition. (b) Temporary shoring for the safety of portions not required to be pulled down, or of adjoining property, and providing temporary enclosures or partitions, where considered necessary by EIC. (c) Taking all necessary precautions for the protection of the public property and to keep down dust nuisance etc. (d) Any necessary disconnection of services, whether temporary or permanent as directed by EIC; any making good shall be measured separately. (e) No payments shall be made for any extra lead, when with the approval of the G.E., the unserviceable materials are removed by the Contractor for his own use, nor will any deduction be made for any value, they may have. (f) All coping’s, corbels, cornices and other projections shall be included with the wall measurements. (g) The rates include taking down walls, etc, with plaster but the measurements will be exclusive of plaster thickness. In case of pavings and floors the rates include for removal of bedding layer. (h) Honeycomb brickwork and hollow concrete blocks shall be measured solid. (i) Fly ash bricks shall be burnt clay flyash building bricks as per IS- 13757 with class designation 75 (Kgf/cm2)

M&L for Removing building materials etc. to a distance of 400 m to 500 m, including loading, unloading and stacking at the destination complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- Removal is to be done by the shortest practicable route and measurement shall be made accordingly, irrespective of the route actually taken. No additional price shall be allowed for roads in bad repairs, gradients or removal over unconsolidated ground.)

M&L 75 mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded aggregate as in plinth protection finishing even & smooth without using extra cement laid in bays with construction, 6mm thick joints should be filled with bitumen mastic filling comprising of one part of heated bitumen 80/100 gde and three part of sand ( all by weight) incl demolition of old unreinforced plinth protection complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The rates of cement concrete in flooring include for: (i) Use and waste of form work/screed strips and to divide the area in panels. (ii) Finishing surfaces of concrete topping even and fair (without using extra cement), and finishing surfaces of concrete in sub-floors, sub-bases, etc. even and rough to receive the topping layer. (iii) Finishing exposed edges fair or rounding or chamfering of exposed edges, where directed. (iv) Laying concrete in narrow widths, risers, treads, landings and the like.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in lintels upto 1.5 m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs, water troughs and the like, landings, chajjas, shelves and similar articles with plain faces including chamfered, weathering, throating etc. and set in cement mortar (1:4) slightly rounded or chamfered angles incl demolition of old unreinforced pcc complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- (a) The rates include for use of formwork (straight or curved). (b) Concrete items if so indicated, shall be reinforced. Reinforcement shall be measured separately.)

M&L for Pre-cast cement concrete 1:1.5:3, type A-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in window or door cills, lintels, bressumers, steps, quoin blocks (for use with masonry), string courses, copings. kneelers, apex stones, pier caps, columns, posts, boundary pillars, bed plates, pintle blocks, ancho-rage blocks, bonders (for stone walling). corbels, brackets, etc. (of any section indicated), with plain fair faces, including chamfers, weatherings, throating etc. and setting in mortar complete with joints to match set in CM 1:4 incl demolition of old reinforcement cement concrete (Reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- (a) The rates include for the use of forms, moulds or machine moulds and setting the blocks, slabs, etc. complete including raking back the joints of the internal faces (at least 10 mm) for pointing as the work proceeds or finishing with neat flush joints. (b) Precast cement concrete item shall be reinforced, where indicated. Reinforcement shall be measured separately.)

M&L Mild Steel TMT bar 10 mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire not less than 0.90mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- (a) The rates include for fixing and for bracing, supporting or otherwise holding firmly in position so that the placing and ramming of concrete will not displace it. Rates also include for straightening where reinforcement is supplied in rolls/coils.)

M&L Rendering on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces of wall 15 mm thick in CM 1:6 and to be finished even and smooth without using extra cement incl taking down old cement plaster of any description on brick or stone walls etc including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, rubbish off the premises, removal and depositing serviceable materials where directed and leaving the work clear of any plastering complete all as specified and directed. Note (i) :- (a) Liquid WPC will be measured and paid separately. M&L Rendering 5 mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 on concrete surfaces of ceiling and finishing the surfaces even and smooth incl taking down old cement plaster of any description on brick or stone walls etc including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, rubbish off the premises, removal and depositing serviceable materials where directed and leaving the work clear of any plastering complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The Rates includes for (a) Thickness of plaster key in joints, etc. (b) Arrises, chamfers of any width, internal rounded angles upto 80mm in width or girth external rounded angles upto 80mm in width or girth, except in the case of mud plaster and leeping where angles etc. of any girth are included. M&L for applying 1mm thick white cement based putty conforming IS 17545 : 2001 on newly plastered surfaces or on old wall surfaces including complete removal of existing wall finish of any type with wire brush, brooming, dusting and finally washing with water to clean the surface absolutely free from any kind of foreign materials and making good minor cracks etc. and surfaces absolutely even and smooth, rubbing with sand paper and applying two coats of water based acrylic distemper on wall or concrete over a coat of distemper primer applied by roller or any mechanical means on prepared surfaces including, rubbing with sand paper complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment by brooming down or steel wire brushing, scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and treating oil and grease spots, washing rubbing down and stopping of distempered and painted surfaces and applying two coats of water based acrylic distemper over a coat of distemper primer on wall applied by roller or any mechanical means complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying one coat of water based acrylic distemper on walls applied by roller or any mechanical means on prepared surfaces complete all as directed.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces or old decorated plastered surfaces of wall by brooming down or steel wire brushing, scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spots and applying two coats of lime wash conforming to IS 6278 : 1971 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying one coat of lime wash on old walls on prepared surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

The rates (from Sch Item- 22 to Item - 32) include for: (a) Use of all scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles, etc. necessary for execution of work and protective measures. (b) Removing of nails, making good holes, cracks, etc. (c) Work in patches, and in narrow \widths. bands, cornices, pilasters, etc. and cutting in edges to line, where necessary. (d) Spreading and removing coverings to doors, windows, floors, fittings, etc., to protect them from splashes. (e) Removing and replacing furniture, movable cupboard, chicks, blinds, etc. (f) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery, electric fittings, wiring, etc. of drops and splashes and leaving premise, clean and tidy.

Taking down chowkhat or frames n exc 1.50 Sqm each with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frame) and removing to store complete all as specified and directed

M&L Second class hard wood plain, solid, straight chowkats and frames, wrought, framed rebated on the solid, rounded or chamfered, put together with glue pinned at joints complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- The rates include for hardwood and rebated holes for hold fasts, bolts or screws including pelletting to heads.)

M&L Cutting holes in brick walls exc half brick but not exc one brick built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar and stone walls built in lime mortar for inserting hold fasts and making good dismantled portion in cement mortar 1:3 or cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 as required complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- (i) The rates do not include cost of holdfasts which shall be measured separately. (ii) ‘Making good’ includes for making good with serviceable old/new bricks/stone to match the adjoining work. (iii) The contractor may dismantle brickwork as alternative to cutting at his option. In that case he will make good with serviceable old/new brick to match with adjoining work. The rate shall include the above element.)

S&F Bands, straps, supports or stays for rainwater, ventilating pipes, including bolts, if required: hooks (stay), heavy, for large gates; hook and pintle hinges: large hasps and staples; chains; hand made sliding bolts; clamps; hold fasts; wall ties; plain angle cleats for securing purlins to wood trusses or rafters; knee piece inserts; two way and three way straps, plate washers and similar small articles conforming to Fe-290 Gde-E-165 complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- The rates include for riveting and/or welding as directed and fixing with screws, bolts, etc. complete)

S & F Solid PVC door frame of size 50 mm x 47 mm made out of 5 mm plain colour PVC sheet reinforced with M.S square tube supplying & fixing in opening as per specified and shown on drawing made on section 8 of SSR 2020 Part-II complete all as specified and directed. (Note : - (i) Solid PVC Door Frame of the size 50 x 47mm made out of 5mm PVC sheet. The door profiles are to be reinforced with 19xl9 mm M.S. Square tube. EPDM rubber gasket weather seal to be provided through out the frame. The profile shall be mitre cut at two corners and joined by inserting 2nos. of 150mm long brackets of 15x15mm M.S. square tube inside the 19mm x 19mm M.S. square tube and suitably screwed.)

S&F Factory made solid panel PVC door shutter 30mm thick (style) consisting of frame made out of M.S. tubes for top & bottom rails, M.S. frame shall be covered with heat moulded palin colour PVC `C' channel heaving a PVC sheert strip of 20mm width suck inside with solvent cement for stiles and plain colour PVC sheets for top rail, lock rail & bottom rail on either side & as gap insert for top rail & bottom rail; Panelling of plain colour PVC sheet to be fitted in the M.S frame welded/ sealed to the stiles, & rails with suitable PVC sheet beading, and joined together with solvent cement, suppling & fixing in the frame at site as per specification & drawing in section 8 of SSR-2020 part-II complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Window Shutters of second class hard wood 30 mm thick factory made glazed and skeleton shutters, open rebated and prepared to receive glass , gauze etc with out sash bars, edges of framing plain, chamfered or rounded, fitted with cut and mitred beads for securing glass etc, sizes of members of shutters as specified in SSR part I section 8 clause 8.24 (a) complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The rates include for : (a) Nails, screws, wedges and keys as required. (b) Hardwood or bamboo pins to framed joints. (c) Coating framed joints with glue before being put together. (d) Punching and clenching nails. (e) Planing on all sides unless described as clean sawn. (f) Providing shutters in one leaf or more leaves, as directed. Note:- Unit rate quoted shall deemed to be included of cleaning of scurbs, grass small roots etc, around the manholes, inspection chamber at adjacent to the pipe lines cleaning etc and along sewage lines wherever required or as directed and no extra payment shall be made on this account). Note: The length of sewage line to be measured from manhole to manhole/chamber for payment purpose.

Attending day to day complaint for Cleaning of blockage floor/ nahani/ bottle trap of wash hand basin/ sink/ bathrooms/ kitchen and WC (any type) by using hand pump with rubber bucket or by cleaning rod till clear flow of water is observed all complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- The complaint slips to be collected from the complaint cell daily by the contractor or his authorised representative/ supervisor. The complaint to be attended and cleared within 24 Hrs or otherwise as given in particular specifications from the date and time of handing over of complaint slip and to be deposited to the concerned JE I/C or Engineer-in-Charge duly signed by the users. In case of delay in clearing the complaint, the penalty to be imposed to the contractor as indicated in particular specifications for every day of delay.
