Package.16. Sub Work.12. Supplying, erection and commissioning of Submersible Centrifugal Motors and Pump Sets at location I to VII.

Supply delivery erection and commissioning of submersible centrifugal non-clog pumps for a duty point of 5-10m and discharge 400 to 500cum / hour vertical spindle type pump , wear resistance with submersible motor for the various duty conditions. Pump shall be capable of handling min 100 mm solid size with specific gravity of up to 1.05. Pump shall be of robust construction . Liquid passages shall be finished smooth and designed as to allow free passage to solids. Pump Impeller should be of Non-clog semi open type , single vane / multi vane with contra bloc design. Double mechanical seal with silicon carbide faces should be provided to protect the motor from ingress of sewage along the shaft. The critical speed of the rotor shall be at least 30% above the operating speed. Pumps should have double bearings between the pump & motor.

The bearings life shall be minimum 100,000 hrs of operation with greased for life. Pump shall be provided with a strainer skirt base, Delivery bend, steel lifting chain. Pump speed shall be of 9600 rpm for high duty pumps and 960/1450 rpm for low duty pump sets. Casing and impeller should be of CI Gr. FG 260 :IS210 more preferably with hardened impeller. Shaft should be of stainless steel AISI 410. All the fasteners and bolts shall be of AISI 410.The submersible motor shall be operated with 3 ph , 415 V( + or – 10 % ) , 50 Hz ( + or - 5 % ) dry induction type. Motor shall be capable of giving rated output without reduction in the expected life span when operated continuously . The rotating assembly shall be dynamically balanced as per standards. The starting current of the motor shall not exceed 200% of rated full load current for Star / Delta or soft starter starting under any circumstances.

The motor shall be suitable for full voltage star delta / Soft starter starting. The locked rotor current of the motor shall not exceed 600% of full load current unless otherwise specified. Motor shall be designed to withstand 120 % of rated speed for two minutes without any mechanical damage , in either direction of rotation. The motor vibration shall be within the limit specified in applicable standards . Motor should be of compatible for VFD operation together with star-Delta / soft starter, protection against increase in stator winding temperature (15 deg Celsius) , bearing temperature, leakage in the stator housing and terminal box shall be provided and to be suitably interlocked with the control panel for tripping the pump in case of increase in temperature beyond set limit. Insulation class shall be of “Class H” and degree of protection shall be of IP 68 as per IS 4691. Motor shall be suitable for continuous operation in fully submerged or partially submerged condition. The pumpset shall be supplied with power cable of PVC insulated and PVC sheathed , copper , flexible ,round type with required conductor size and number of cores as per starting method and of specified length for continuous use under water and air. The control cable of PVC insulated , PVC sheathed , flexible for stator winding temperature sensor 3 core x 1.5 sq.mm copper conductor and for bimetallic switches 2 core x 1.5 sqmm copper conductor shall be provided. Motor shall be supplied with 10 mts of round submersible copper cable of suitable size.

The non clog submersible pump set shall be provided with suitable starter control panel having all protections as mentioned above. (upto 5 HP - DOL Starter, above 5 HP to 25 HP -Star Delta Panel and beyond 25 HP shall be ATS) at duty point of 5 to 10 mts. head and discharge of 400 -500 cum/per hour – 20 HP

Earthwork in excacavation over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth , 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50m and lift upto 1.5m - disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dresses - all kinds of soil

Supplying of 3.5x70 sqmm underground cable (Paragon/suncab/Empire) complete.- 50HP pumpset.

Supplying of 3.5/ 4x25 sqmm underground cable (Paragon/suncab/Empire) complete.-upto 25HP pumpset.

Laying of UG cable and providing termination of cable joint with suitable cable gland,cable socket etc., complete - 3.5/4 x 50 / 3.5/4 x 70 sqmm cable.

Supplying and fixing of copper flat (25 x 3mm) for earthing arrangements including bolts and nuts etc.

Laying of under ground cable direct in ground including metal road cutting, excavation of earth, sand cushion, brick protection, back filling etc., complete. - above 50 sqmm

Labour for cutting C.I. pipe with steel saw:- 200mm diameter C.I. pipe.

Threading of CI / DI pipes suitable for fixing flanges including transportation,labour charges etc.,complete - 200 mm dia.

Making earth pit of G.I. pipe for earthing in earth pit with 40mm dia. G.I. pipe medium class of length 3.05m perforated with 46 Nos of 12mm dia. holes, pipe lowered in bore holes of 150mm dia. and filled in with charcoal and salt in alternative layer of 300mm, the top of G.I. pipe shall be clamped. Earth pit shall be provided with 60cm dia precast ring with 60cm depth alround,covered with R.C.C. precast slab etc. as per I.E. standards.

Providing and fixing 50 mm dia GI pipe (Class B) conforming to IS 1239 (Part 1:1990) with GI fittings including trenching, refilling etc., complete for UG cable duct.

Providing and laying Ductile Iron Double flanged pipes of class K9 (Electro steel/Sripipes/Jindal/Electrotherm) conforming to IS specification 8329/2000 and ISI marked suitable for flanged joints in good condition including transportation of D.I.pipe from production centre/company to the site at UT of Puducherry, lowering to the trenches(or fixing in over head tanks above ground level) laying to proper grade and alignment, testing of joints with required testing equipment etc.,complete all as per IS12288 and CPWD specification . (earth work and jointing of pipes with rubber insertion will be paid separately) -200mm dia.

Providing and fixing in position flanged standard D.I. specials (Electro steel/Sripipes/Jindal/Kiswok) such as tees, bends, collors, tapers, caps etc.conforming to IS specification 9523/2000 and ISI marked - 100 to 300mm dia.

Providing and fixing in position flanged standard D.I. specials (Electro steel/Sripipes/Jindal/Kiswok) such as tees, bends, collors, tapers, caps etc.conforming to IS specification 9523/2000 and ISI marked - 350 to 450mm dia.

Providing flanged joints to double flanged C.I./D.I. pipes and specials including necessary bolts, nuts, rubber insertion and testing of joints etc.,complete - 200mm diameter pipe.

Providing and fixing C.I. sluice valve (PN 1.6) (with cap) conforming to IS 14846 and ISI marked, with bolts, nuts, rubber insertion etc.,complete (the tail pieces if required will be paid separately) - 200 mm dia.

Providing and fixing C.I. non return valve (PN 1) conforming to IS 5312 and ISI marked, with bolts, nuts, rubber insertion etc.,complete (the tail pieces if required will be paid separately) - 200 mm dia

Supplying and fixing of 25mm dia green spring hose.
