NOTE FOR ALL PAINITNG ITEMS :- The following precautionary measures shall be ensured by the contractor during execution of work :- (i) Contractor shall deposit entire quantity of materials (proprietory materials) in sealed containers required for painting works covered under subject contract in the custody of Engineer-In-Charge/ Office in charge of unit. (ii) The materials as required shall be issued to contractor by JE/ Engineer-In-Charge on daily basis and the empty containers/ bags shall be deposited in the store of Engineer -In-Charge by the contractor, for verification as per standard consumption/ coverage prescribed by the manufacturers. (iii) Before applying cement base paint/weather proof acrylic emulsion paint contractor shall use the wire brush for the removal of loose paint, dust, algae, moss and filling of crack using crack sealent and cleaning of surface by spray jet. (iv) Application of cement base paint strictly done by spray/mechanical spray machine only, otherwise 30% cost shall be reecovered from the respective item. (v) After completion of painting work contractor shall remove and clean all the droplets/stain of paint left on the floor, glasses and joinery.

NOTE FOR PLUMBING AND SANITARY ITEMS:- (i) Contractor shall deposit entire quantity of plumbing and sanitary wares materials required / covered under subject contract in the custody of Engineer-In-Charge/ Office in charge of unit. (ii) The materials as required shall be issued to contractor by JE/ Engineer-In-Charge on daily basis.

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment, preparation of old plastered or unplastered surfaces of walls of any description and applying two coats of oil bound emulsion destemper including priming with alkali resistant primer complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment and preparation of old plastered or unplastered wall surfaces of any description and applying two coats of cement base paint including priming with alkali resistant primer complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE:- (i) Filling of cracks, holes and dents are includes in the rate quoted. (ii) Proper curing with water to be done before and after application of first coat.

M&L for preparation of old plasterd or unplastered wall surfaces of any description and applying one coat of oil bound emulsion destemper complete all as specified and as directed.

NOTE:- (i) Before applying weather proof acrylic emulsion paint, contractor shall use the wire brush for the removal of loose paint, dust, algae, moss. (iii) Paint shall be procured through authorised applicator only and certificate of authorised applicator shall be submitted by contractor before commencement of work.

M&L for walll care putty of 3 mm thick as in interior / exterior wall / ceiling surfaces of any description finished smooth and even surfces complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted wooden surfaces of any description exceeding 10 cm in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description exceeding 10 cm in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the the premises complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Sunken flooring treatment as per following details complete all as specified and directed:- +B69(a) Special treatment to toilet floor by demolition of existing treatment of any description and thickness, removal of rubbish to a distance exc. 5KM but not exc.7.5KM. (b) Clean the sunken portion of toilet / Bath / WC / Kitchen throughly to remove laitance, dirt dust, etc. (c) Form angle fillet of size 40mm x 40mm along the junction of wall and floor using polymer modified mortar ("Dr Fixit"Pidicrete URP" or equivalent as given in Appx 'C'.). (d) Sanitary pipes entering through walls and floor shall be sealed with "Dr Fixit Bathseal Tape"or equivalent as given in Appx 'C' and the gaps to be grouted with non-shrink cementitous grout "Dr Fixit Bathseal Grout" or equivalent as given in Appx 'C'. Nahani Traps, etc to be fitted securely and the gaps around it to be grouted in the same manner. M&L for Repairing the leaking deteriorated and torn out chajjas and parapet walls by removing all the lose material from the top of the chajja be means of light hammering and chiselling to remove loose concrete cover only and Clean all loose particles by high pressure jet water so that all surfaces should be sound, clean and free of contamination followed by application two coats of polymerised cementitious coat like Pidilite's Pidifin 2k or equivalent, while second coat is wet apply a 10mm dash coat of CM plaster with the waterproofing compound Make : Dr.fixit or equivalent as approved by GE, completing the repair work by final finishing and providing with proper slope of 15 mm thick rendering cement mortar(1:4) including supply and mixing of waterproofing compound as per manufacturers instructions finishing the surfaces even and fair complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Wall paper -Wall coverings fixed in repairs made from vinyl (PVF), coated with plastic; rustic metalic/ natural finish/ cork & mica finish/ wall texture finish; colour fast and washable with dust repellent property. as per approved sample including surface preparation and application all as per manufacturers standards. complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PVC interlocking wall panelling 5mm to 7mm thick of surface finish with natural wooden finish (in minimum size 1200mm hight x 300mm wide). Panel is to be fixed on framework with screws as in horizontal or vertical alignment to walls at every 750mm with centre & edge bracket in tongue & groove system on framework. if required the cavity of framework should be inserted with rock wool with 48 kg and 50mm density, along with all accessories including required flashing, U shape groove complete make and sample as approved all as specified and directed.

Demolition of stone slabs / flooring of any description laid bedded and pointed any mortar and all as directed.

M&L for Marble slab Baroda green 16-18 mm thick (pre grinded and polished ) bedded, jointed and painted with grey cement slurry including cutting and grinding /poished laid over and including 15mm thick screed bed in CM(1:6), edges rounded and stone should be in one piece complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Machine cut cudappah stone slab 20-25mm thick over cement screed base, laid and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing and polishing including screed bed or bedding layer of 15 mm thick in cement mortar (1:6) for laying floor finishes. complete all as specified and as directed.
