Soil Investigation

Mobilization of necessary eqpt and manpower to the project site and dismanteling of the same of completion of Foundation work from the site.

Provision of one bore hole of 150mm dia in any type of soil upto max 10 mtr ( or upto refusal (N=100) whichever meet first conducting standard penetration test as per IS 2131-1981 (reaffirmed-2016). Test shall be made at not more than 1.50mtr interval on Changes of strata whichever is less.

Conducting following lab test on bore collected soil samples :- (i) Direct/Triaxial Shear Test. (ii) Grain distribution curves & pattern in bore holes. (iii) Bulk density. (iv) Natural Moisture content. (v) Dry Density. (vi) Water table. (vii) Specific gravity. (viii) Atterberg limit. (ix) Hydrometer analysis (x) Liquid & plastic limit. (xi) Swelling Index.

Completion of laboratory test, collection of data, calculation of Gross and Net safe Bearing Capacity and prepartion of report on minimum 80 GSM A4 size white paper duly spiral bound in quintuplete duly vetted by any IIT/NIT/Govt. College (Vetting shall not be in the persnal capacity of the professor), recomminding following data:- (i) Minimum depth of foundation and type of foundation at different depth as per relvant IS code. (ii) Gross and net safe bearing capacity for foundation. (iii) Recommandation for raft or pile foundation for depth of foundation more then 2.00 mtr below NGL including size gross and net safe bearing capacity for raft foundation , design parameter for pile foundation and cost analysis butween raft and pile foundation shall be given. (iv) Photographic record of geo-exploration as well as testing shall also part of report. (v) recommandation as regards possibility of liquefaction of soil in case of saturated of partially saturated losses/ uncompacted sandy soil. (vi) Swelling index and swelling pressure in respect of black cotton soil and its depth/layer (if any). (vii) Depth of ground water table (GWT) in peak mansoon (lowest) and peak summer (Heighest) after correlation of result with seasonal of water table in the station. (viii) Recommandation of filling under soil. (ix) RL of the ground level/foundation level with ref to a BM should invarably be mentioned in the soil investigation report. (x) Field properties like density, moisture content, frost susceptibility and typical depth of frost penetration shall be provided in the report.

PREPRATION OF DETAILED ESTIMATE: (a) Prepration of detailed estimate and item wise yard stick including taking off Quantites and abstract as per MES SSR 2020 and market rates, market rates analysis for works required based on IAFW-2159 (revised - 1947) HQ CELZ as per approved diagram for the above specified work along with quotation from E-In-C's approved manufacturers, any other details required shall be obtained by the bidder from E8 section of the office of HQ CELZ. The list of Bldg and plinth area of each bldg as under:- (i) Block of 04 S/officers D/S alongwith attached 04 x servent qtrs having plinth area 409.01 Sqm Each Bldg (ii) Block of 04 S/officers D/S alongwith attached 01 x servent qtrs having plinth area 347.12 Sqm Each Bldg (iii) Block of 04 S/officers D/S without servent qtrs having plinth area 318.42 Sqm Each Bldg (iv) Block of garages S/S out with box room having plinth area 84.00 Sqm (v) Block of garages S/S with box room having plinth area 111.89 Sqm (vi) CHS Plant Room with duty room Bldg having plinth area 128.96 Sqm (b) The consultant shall get the preliminary estimate, yard stick, abstract and MR analysis approved from E8 section of HQ CELZ before proceeding for the final submission of same. (c) Submission of complete set of data as mentioned above alongwith calculation sheet in hard copy on minimum 80 GSM A4 size white paper (two set) duly sprial bound incl soft ware file, if any, and also in soft copied in 2 separate DVDs. (c) Completion certificate will be issued after the completion of complete scope of work define here-in-above by the consultant. Certificate will be rendered by the section head E-8 section of HQ CELZ for all the E/m related works.
