SCHEDULE 'A' B/R Works

Excavation in post holes in soft/loose soil not exceeding 0.50 cum each, getting out, returning filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm including removing of surplus spoil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and making good the disturbed surfaces, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for PCC (1:3:6), type C-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling and mass concrete, bed block, for embedded fencing posts & similar work etc including form work complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing mild steel work as in posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc., flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing Mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, exc. 10cm but not exceed 15cm long and diameter of neck 10mm, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing 10mm dia round bar as in line wire for fixing chain link fencing confirming to IS-410-0 or 310-0 quality-A, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repair, galvanised, 2 strand steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia, barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails, straining bolts, including securing and tying at crossings with and provision of galvanized mild steel wire, staple or steel pins, etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.(Each line of wire shall be measured and paid separately ).

Supply only galvanised mild steel chain link fencing, 4mm dia galvanised mild steel wire and mesh size 100mm x 100mm (spacing), complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- The weight of chain link fencing shall be measured as per findings of BOO to be ordered and concured by Accepting Officer.

Fixing only chain link fencing including line wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts, etc. including provision of binding wire complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Supply only line wire mesh and nut bolts shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of this schedule

Material and labour for preparation of new steel and iron surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundations, shafts, wells, cess pits, manholes, for taking out old pipe and laying new pipe line, for laying cable etc. not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and getting out in soft/loose soil including trimming the sides and forming bottom surfaces to required levels, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removing excavated material (surplus soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Returning and filling including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for PCC ( 1:4:8), type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling and mass concrete, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for brick work with sub class ‘B’ old size burnt clay bricks, straight or curved on plan exc. 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for rendering/plastering 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) on any face of Brick walls or concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls/pillars /cornices by brooming down with using broom/sand papering or by any other mean, washing down with water and applying two coats of cement base paint (one coat as a primary coat) as per approved tint/colour by using paint brush complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of brick work or stone / boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, in any description including cleaning and stacking serviceable brick for re use and balance removing rubbish from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down chowkhats or frames with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frames) area exceeding 1.50 sqm but not exceeding 4 Sqm each and removing from site including cutting holes for removal of old rusted hold fast and prepare the surface for new hold fast, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing powder coated aluminium frame, made out of aluminium section / aluminium chanel, (minimum thickness of powder coating not less than 50 micron), for doors, windows, ventilators with one or more rebate including jointing cleat for fixing etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Weight of aluminium section/aluminium channel shall be physically ascertained through a board of officers convened by Accepting officer and payment shall be made only after the actual weight at site.

Supply & fixing powder coated aluminium door shutter, made out of aluminium section weighing 0.55 Kg/mtr, (minimum thickness of powder coating not less than 50 micron) including aluminium hardware i.e. necessary joining cleats, glazing clips, rubber neoprene packing, suitable size of aluminium handles 2 Nos and aluminium hinges 04 Nos in each leaf (size of handle and hinge as directed), aluminium snap beading, screws etc including fixing of glass, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) Aluminium chowkhat frame shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ as supply and fixing. (ii) Glass and other filling material in panels shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ.

Supply & fixing aluminium (extruded section) body door closer hydraulically regulated, designation No 2, universal type suitable for door shutter of 701 to 850mm in width and weight between 36 to 60 Kg, ISI marked, complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & fixing powder coated aluminium window and ventilator shutter side hung type without sash bars, made out of aluminium section weighing 0.55 Kg/mtr, powder coated (minimum thickness of powder coating not less than 50 micron) including necessary joining cleats, glazing clips, rubber neoprene packing, anodised aluminium snap beading, screws, anodised aluminium fittings such as peg stays 150mm long (1 No.), hinges type B-21 100mm long (2 No. for ventilator and 3 Nos for window each shutter) suitable handle (1 No.), including fixing of glass, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) Aluminium chowkhat frame shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ as supply and fixing. (ii) Glass and other filling material in panels shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ.

Supply & fixing 5.5mm thick sheet glass ordinary quality in squares not exceeding 0.5sqm in each pane (for door/window) and fixed in any type of doors/windows/ventilators with wooden bead/pin tacked/with oil putty etc. as required or as directed including cutting of glass as per site requirement, complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing mild steel 4 lever mortice lock vertical type 100mm size with original and duplicate key complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing powder coated aluminium tower bolt of extruded section, 150mm long complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing stainless steel chromium plated pipe 25mm dia, wall thickness of pipe not less than 20 guage, as curtain rod fixing with and including fancy type brackets and decorated end knobs (finials), stop roller etc., fixed on wall for doors and windows curtains, cuttings as required length and fixing at site including fixing arrangements, rawl plug, screws etc., complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Roughening surfaces of old concrete floor/plinth surface by picking and prepare the surface to receive the PCC, sweeping cleaning and washing down with water to remove dust etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for vitrified ceramic coloured tiles (light shade) 10 mm thick square or rectangular area of each tile not exceeding 0.36 sqm, as in floor, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tile including necessary cutting as per site requirement, tiles laid over and including 15 mm thick bedding layer (screed) in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for 25mm thick cement concrete (1:2:4), type B-0 using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base of floor for leveling course, surface finished rough to recieved tile/Kota stone/PCC floor work, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (NOTE : Tile/Kota stone/PCC floor work shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of this schedule.

Supply and fixing powder coated aluminium snap grid frame work of size of grid 605mm x 605mm for false ceiling including necessary notching and prepared holes, the snap grid shall consist of anodised aluminium main tee of size 36.5mm x 25mm x 1.4mm weighing 0.24 Kg/RM, cross and Intermediate tee of size 23.5mm x 26.4mm x 1.4mm weighing 0.191 Kg/RM. The main and cross tee shall be jointed at junction with steel screws or MS bolts, nuts and washers, the snap grid (main / cross tee sections) shall be supported at ends all along the wall with anodised aluminium angle of size 35mm x 25mm x 2mm weighing 0.36 Kg/RM fixed to wall with suitable arrangement and duly suspended with 4mm GI wire hangers (upto 1200 mm length) adjusting level fixed to roof slab by means of ceiling cleats made of GI flat 40x3mm size 60mm long and expansion hold fasteners 12.5mm dia 40mm long, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing mineral fibre ceiling board as in ceiling made out of 600mm x 600mm x 12mm thick size board fixed in grid/frame work, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing 5mm thick solid PVC Wall Lining consisting wood grain printed PVC sheet used instead of plain colour sheet, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing 5mm thick PVC sheet fillet of width 35mm for wall paneling inclusive of fixing on to wall to make PVC Frame as per specification, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster from brick wall etc including racking out joints, hacking for key & scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for plastering 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:6) on any face of Brick walls or concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for rendering/plastering 10mm thick in cement mortar (1:3) on any face of ceiling, finished fair and even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparing newly plastered or concrete surface of ceiling by sand papering or by any other mean and after preparing the surfaces applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge

Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls/pillars /cornices by brooming down with using broom/sand papering or by any other means, and preparing the surfaces smooth by applying white cement based putty to make the surface even and smooth by using sander machine (with provision of dust sucking) upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge, and after preparing the surfaces applying two coats of oil emulsion distemper (washable), as approved tint/colour by using paint roller brush complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for complete removal of existing treatment (any layers of existing treatment ) from walls/pillars/cornices by scraping down with using mechanical sander machine (including provision of dust sucking) upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge, brooming and washing down and preparing the surfaces smooth and after that applying average 3mm thick layer (1.5mm thick each in two layer application) of white cement based putty (wall care putty, make Birla JK or equvilent as approved by Engineer-in-charge), after applying putty first and second coat sanding the surface as per requirement by using mechanical sander machine to make the surface even and smooth upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge and after prepare the surface smooth applying two coats of oil bound distemper (washable) as per approved tint/colour by using paint brush or roller brush complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE : - Each stage i.e after complete removal and before applying OBD as specified above, the surface shall be passed in writing by the Enigineer-in-charge.

Taking down carefully existing unserviceable copper/aluminium point wiring (light/fan/socket or power point) complete with all accessories such as hylum sheet, switches, sockets, ceiling rose, wall brackets, regulator gang boxes etc & making good distrubed surfaces of walls/floor etc and matching with existing surface all as specified and directed by Engr - in- Charge

Material & Labour for point wiring complete with 1.5 sqmm (nominal area) PVC insulated and unsheathed multi stranded copper conductor FRLSH cable (ISI marked) 1100 volts in existing concealed surface conduit and existing shunken box covered with new 3mm thick bakelite laminated hylem sheet (ISI marked) for one light point /fan point/exhaust fan controlled by one switch including 1.5 Sqmm single core multi stranded FRLSH copper earth wire to common earth and connecting to earthh dolly, complete all as specified and directed by Engr - in- Charge

Supply and fixing in replacement MCB SPN 63 Amps, 10 KA 'C' curve 230 V AC, 50 Hz including necessary attachment, including taking down unserviceable old MCB, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement MCB SP suitable for 230 volts AC supply 6 to 40 Amps, SP rupturing capacity not less than 10KA, C Curve ISI Marked, 1 Module, including taking down unserviceable old MCB, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing (concealed in wall or as directed) single pole and neutral sheet metal enclosure (AC Box) with a two pin and earth plug and socket complete with one single pole MCB of capacity 20 Amps, 240 volts, AC supply, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down ceilling fan from site and keep in safe custody/store for reuse the same as same location after the building work. Before reinstall the same will be new spray painted as per existing colour compelete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. If any damages of fans and its connected acessories at the time of transportation/deposit to store, the contractor will response the same included in the quoted rate.

Hanging only ceiling fan after completion of ceiling work refix the fan item retrived from item No 160 above. Provision of connection wires and fixing arrangements and any painting works are included in quoted rate.
