Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of factory assembled and factory tested multi cylinder water cooled electric start Ready to Use (RTU) type DG set in a sound proof canopy complete with all accessories, batteries, fuel tank, with Standard Control Panel etc. as per the specifications attached.
Diesel Engine Capable of delivering minimum 1735 BHP at 1500 RPM under NTP conditions of BS:5514 and suitable for delivering 1500 KVA/1200KW at 0.8 power factor, 415 volts at the Alternator terminal at 50 °C ambient temp. Inside the canopy.
Three phase, 50HZ, 415Volts 1500 RPM Alternator capable of delivering 1500 KVA/1200 KW at 0.8 p.f., at site conditions and coupled to diesel Engine mentioned above.
Sound proof canopy as per CPCB approved norms and duly having type certificate from authorized agencies suitable for above DG set. Complete unit as reqd as per specifications. The canopy is to have inbuilt tray at the base for oil spillage.
The Price of above item no-1 shall be quoted inclusive of all the taxes and duties as applicable except GST. The GST shall be paid as per vendor contract clauses of this NIT.
The Agency shall furnish the manufacturer's test certificates for all major equipments at the time of supply
The agency to furnish CPCB type approval certificate including approved drawing with the supply of silent genset at site
Necessary documents of Engine, Alternator and Combined DEA set shall be furnished as a proof of factory assembled set by the agency
The make of Engine , Alternator and all other accessories should be as per BSNL approved product directory
All material to be used at site shall be got approved from Engineer-In-charge before execution and the works shall be executed as per the drawings approved by Engineer- in -Charge.
Supply Installing by suspension on ceiling, testing and commissioning of following capacity Sandwitch type rising mains/bus trunking for use on 3 phase 4 wire 415 volts 50 Hz A.C. supply with metal clad enclosure having IP-54 rating after fixing the tap off boxes and all accessories, made of 1.6mm thick sheet steel duly powder coated in convenient sections complete with 4 Nos. aluminium bus bars having current density of 130 A/Sq cm at normal current rating,necessary joints, elbow joints & expansion joints and bends fire barrier at each floor, provision of tapping at every meter, adopter box and copper flexible for joints, continuous earthing with 2 Nos. aluminium strip of suitable size ( one on each side) including G.I. clamping brackets, suspenders, angle iron bracket, steel fasteners, connecting to earthing system etc complete as required

Providing, laying, testing & commissioning of following MS Pipe conforming to IS 3589 complete with all accessories like heavy class long radius bends of matching diameter along with necessary nut, bolt, washers and U-clamps etc thereon as required, welding to be done as per best engineering practise by following high standard welding procedure, complete in all respect finished with one primary followed by two secondary coats of heat resistant heatex paint by first allowing previous coat to get fully dry to a thickness of minimum 25 microns per coat, reducing the diameter not allowed, the upper most end to be bend and chamfered at 45 degree and to be closed by welding a wire mesh of mi. 10 gauge MS wire having 1-inch x 1-inch openings to stop entry of any bird into the pipeline complete as required. (The make of MS pipe should be as per BSNL approved product directory)

Providing and fixing MS supporting structure all around the exhaust piping, C- Channels , angles , flats , base plates , nuts & bolts of suitable size to take the load of exhuast piping of both the DG sets duly joined to each other to form a tower ; the structure to have landing platforms of 8 mm thickness chequered plate at each 3 meter height, access ladder up to top starting from 3 meter height complete with fall protection cage a required for safety of the personal who may be working on it. Main vertical supports of structure shall have base plates of 20 mm thickness duly welded at bottom with necessary reebs of 8 mm thickness thereon with each support; entire structure shall be made safe against lightening from sky by providing a continuous 50x6 GI strip affixed thereon with brass bolts and nuts or 25x3 copper strip for better conductivity for earthing from top to bottom of the structure. Entire structure to be provided two coats of zinc chromate metal primer followed by two coats of weatherproof epoxy paint of appropriate shade in such manner that successive coat shall be applied only after fully drying of previous coat to a minimum thickness of 25 microns complete etc as required. (Note:-The completeness of work in all respect reagarding the size , strength of structure & foundation, back pressure on engine shall be the responbility of the contractor.)
Providing and fixing Thermal rockwool insulation of exhaust pipeline by LRB (light resin bonded) mattresses of thickness 100 mm x density 150 kg/m3 with embedded chicken wire mesh, cladding by 25 SWG aluminium sheets, Including the bends/ flanges therein, by fixing appropriate size steel screws and washers; cladding to be done in such a manner and workmanship that it shall protect direct entry of rain water into the insulation done; workmanship of work should be good to ensure proper finishing having regular diameter all over complete etc as required.
Earthing with copper earth plate 600 mm X 600 mm X 3 mm thick including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe of 2.7 metre long etc. (but without charcoal/ coke and salt ) as required.
Providing and fixing 25 mm X 5 mm copper strip in 40 mm dia G.I. pipe from earth electrode including connection with brass nut, bolt, spring, washer excavation and re-filling etc. as required.
Providing and fixing 25 mm X 5 mm copper strip on surface or in recess for connections etc. as required.
Dismantling the existing 725 KVA DG set conplete with all the accessotries i.e Canopy, control panel,bus-trunking and fuel tank from the existing foundation and placing it on a suitable place/Store including transportation as per the directions of Engineer-In-Incharge
Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means over areas (exceeding 30cm in depth, 1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth, lead up to 50m and lift up to 1.5m,as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
