M&L brick masonry valve pit chamber of size 600 mm x600 mm x 600 mm( Internal dimensions), with 3.15 mm thick mild steel sheet cover fixed with 02 Nos stainless steel hinges of 75 mm long on angle iron frame of size 40 mm x 40 mm x 6 mm thick (Mild steel sheet cover and angle iron frame shall be painted with two coats black bituminous paint over a coat of red oxide primer) , PCC 1:4:8, type D-2 (Using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate ) as in foundation, 230 mm thick brick wall built in cement mortar 1:4, 50mm thick coping with PCC 1:3:6 , typeC-0 ( Using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate) , 15 mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4 to all internal and exposed surfaces of valve pit including necessary excavation and earth work etc complete all as shown in drawing & as directed.

M&L granular sub base (GSB) with grading II of 100mm thick (Compacted thickness) confirming to grading as specified, spread, rolled & consolidated to required gradient and camber complete using necessary mechanical paver/grader & vibratory soil compacter of capacity 8-10 Ton complete all as specified and as directed. Notes: 1. Pavement shall be made for solid quantity arrived after consolidation. 2. Compaction of granular sub base filling shall be carried out under optimum moisture condition to achieve 98.50% modified density. 3. Curing shall be carried out as per IRC recommendations. 4. Before execution of this item the approved material obtained from outside MD land shall be tested/Checked for suitability to use. 5. Contractor shall use vibratory earth compactor in lieu of power roller to achieve 98.50% MDD at OMC without any extra cost and the method of compaction to be adopted as per recommendation of agency reporting MDD at OMC. 6. GSB shall be as per MORTH specification as detailed in particular specifications

M&L granular sub base (GSB) with grading II of 150mm thick compacted thickness (Laid in two layers of 75mm each, compacted separately) confirming to grading as specified, spread, rolled & consolidated to required gradient and camber complete using necessary mechanical paver/grader & vibratory soil compacter of capacity 8-10 Ton complete all as specified and as directed. Notes: 1. Pavement shall be made for solid quantity arrived after consolidation. 2. M&L for 150mm thick (Compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) laid in two layers (Laid in two layers of 75mm each, compacted separately), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required including necessary lateral support and form work if required using crushed stone coarse aggregate of maximum size 40mm of grading as specified type igneous rock such as granite/basalt/trap etc. complete all as specified and directed. Note : 1. The rate quoted shall be for 150 mm compacted thickness. 2. Each layer shall be rolled separately.

S&F precast cement concrete factory made kerb stones of size 300 x 250 x 100 mm laid and set in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) Grade of Concrete Mix shall not be less than M25 (ii) Kerb stones shall be tested in NABL approved laboratory for grade of concrete and test certificate shall be produced by the contractor before incorporation in the work.

M&L for Preparing the new bituminous surfaces by removing or cleaning of all dirt, scales, oil grease and foreign materials etc complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge and providing 2.5mm (minimum) thick hot thermoplastic paint (Retro reflective type) for road marking in white/yellow shade by fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine, fitted with profile shoe, gun, beads dispenser, propane tank, heaters and profile shoe, heater driven by skilled operator on road surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Garrison Engineer. Note:- (i) Road marking work shall be carried out in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and as specified in particular specifications (ii) Refer MORTH specification of Para 803.4.2.1 and 800.4.2.2 on bituminous surface/surfaces in white colour or yellow colour and super imposed with glass beads confirming to BS 6088 and MORTH specification Para 803.4.3.3
