TERM CONTRACT FOR ARTIFICER WORK FOR ZONE B AT AGE BR I UNDER GE MIS MHOW

To perform, under term contract, such services and execute such works as may be demanded during the period of one year from the date of submission of the Performance Guarantee, in accordance with the terms and conditions contained in or referred to in the “MES Standard Schedule of Rates 2009 Part-I (Specifications)” and “MES Standard Schedule of Rates 2020 Part-II (Rates)”, together with all errata and amendments applicable up to date, and subject to the conditions contained in the tender documents. The works and services shall be carried out at the rates specified in the aforesaid MES Standard Schedule of Rates or at such rates as may be fixed under the provisions of Condition 62 of “General Conditions of Contracts (IAFW-2249)” 1989 print, including all errata and amendments applicable up to date.

Item No 1.00 Contd... Note:- (iv) Contractor's special attention is invited to condition "4 (A) WORK TO BE CARRIED OUT (APPLICABLE ONLY TO TERM CONTRACTS)" and condition "56 TERMINATION OF CONTRACT (APPLICABLE ONLY TO TERM CONTRACTS)" of "General Condition of Contracts (IAFW-2249)". The provision of these conditions of General Conditions of Contracts (IAFW 2249)" will be strictly followed. (v) It is an express condition of this contract that the whole amount of total works/services to be ordered under this contract can vary irrespective of the amount worked out/mentioned in this BOQ sheet and the contractor shall be bound to execute such works/services at the rates contained in MES Standard Schedule of Rates 2020 Part-II duly adjusted by quoted percentage during contract period. No claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained due to an increase or decrease in the quantum of work ordered under this contract.

Item No 1.00 Contd... Note:- (vi) The area marked in the site plan of "GE (Maint) Inf School under AGE B/R area" will be applicable in this contract. The work orders will be placed on the contractor for work services within this area only. The decision of GE in this regard shall be final, conclusive, and binding. (vii) Minor works sanctioned during the contract period may also be ordered for execution by the Contractor, who shall accept and execute the same at the quoted percentage rates without any additional claim or enhancement.
