M & L for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in -charge.

M & L for Applying evenly a tack coat of Catonic Bitumen Emulsion(RS-1) grade conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.3-0.4 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in -charge

M & L for laying Premix Bituminous concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder (paving bitumen of grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix and crushed aggregates of grading 2 with mixing of agrgregates and VG-30 bitumen in electronic operated 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant, transporting the hot mix from HMP to work site by tippers/Dumpers and as per approved mix and rolled & compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller, complete all as per Clause 507 MORTH (5th Rev) specification and complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in -charge NOTES : - 1. The contractor shall quotes the rate against Item considering 5.50% VG-30 bitumen content. Job Mix Formula as per CIause. No. 505.3.3 of MORTH (5th Rev) for BC shall be worked out from Govt Lab / Govt Engg College / CTL preferred by Accepting Officer for obtaining Optimum Binder Content (OBC) by the Contractor without any financial effect to the Dept and same be submitted to the accepting officer for approval. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted @ Rs 50/Kg binder and no adjustment shall be made on plus side. 2. Cost of filler i.e. cement (Ordinary portland cement/OPC) is deemed to be included in quoted unit rate. 3. After spreading of mix as per clause 507.4.7 entire surface during the operation shall be rolled with road roller 8-10 tonne (smooth wheeled) followed with vibratory road roller of 8-10 tonne static weight, followed by finished rolling with 6 to 8 tonne smooth wheel tendom roller as per Clause Nos. 507.4.8 and cost of the same is deemed to be included in quoted unit rate. 4. Payment shall be made after conducting bitumen extraction test after laying every 500 units and cost is deemed to be included in the quoted rates. For any variation in bitumen contents the re-testing to be got done by the contractor at without any extra cost.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exceeding 400 Sqm and depth exceeding 50 mm and not exceeding 100mm including removing unserviceable materials to a distance exc 50 mtr but not exc 100 mtr and depositing where directed all complete all as specified and directed by engineer in charge.

Material and labour for providing Premix Bituminous macadam of consolidated minimum thickness 50mm, using paving bitumen binder of grade VG-30 @ and binder content of 4% by weight of total mix with mixing of aggregates and VG-30 bitumen in electronic operated 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant, transporting the hot mix from HMP to work site by tippers and laying with hydrostatic paver finisher (Paver shall not be compulsory in case of patch work using B.M.) and as per approved mix and rolled & compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller, complete all as per Clause 504 MoRTH (5th Rev) specification and complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in -charge 1. The contractor shall quotes the rate against Item considering 4.00% VG-30 bitumen content. Job Mix Formula as per CIause. No. 505.3.3 of MORTH (5th Rev) for BC shall be worked out from Govt Lab/Govt Engg College/CTL Lab preferred by Accepting Officer for obtaining Optimum Binder Content (OBC) by the Contractor without any financial effect to the Dept and same be submitted to the accepting officer for approval. The BM shall be covered with top layer/wearing course within a maximum of 48 Hrs. If there is to be delay by the contractor, course shall be covered by seal coat to the requirement of clause 512 of MoRTH (5th Revision) before opening to the traffic. The seal cot in such cases shall be considered incidental to the work and shall not be paid saperately. 3. The paver shall not be compulsory in case of patch work using BM. 4. Cost of filler i.e. cement (Ordinary portland cement/OPC) is deemed to be included in quoted unit rate. 5. M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and painting/marking 2.50mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows letters etc and like n. exc 10cm wide on road pavements using thermoplastic road marking paint of approved colour cinfirming to BS 3262-1989 with 8% glass beads using special applicator machine with heating arrangement up to 160 C complete all as specified and directed by Engineer- in- charge.

S&F for Road safety convex mirror 80cm dia made up of poly corbonate reflective mirror with body ABS suitable for indoor/ out door use with hood complete with mounting hard ware and pipe of required height complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in -charge

M&L for repairs to pot holes of any depth, not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, path etc. cutting around edges, at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5Kg/10 Sqm, putting in premixed bitumen,well rammed and sealed with binder using paving bitumen @ 9.8 Kg/10 Sqm, blinded with 0.09 Cum stone chippings, 6.3mm size and again rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of pot holes exceeding 30mm deep all as per specification and as directed.

M&L for repair to cuts/ damages of road any depth and area exc 5 sqm but not exc 20 each incl sweeping free form dust and mud or water scoring sunken surface of road, path etc, cutting around edges to at required depth making good by applying tack / prime coat cationic bitumen emulsion RS1/SS1 conforming to IS:8887 at a rate of application of @ 07-1Kg/Sqm stretch of work putting in GSB / premixed bituminous macadam well rammed and sealded with binder 9.80 Kg per 10 Sqm binded with 0.09 Cum of stone shippings, 6.3mm size and again well rammed total depth upto 300mm (including Supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings, rolling etc) complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-charge
