Cutting into existing manholes for connecting 150mm bore of pipe to new drains, making good to pipe in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1, including cutting into existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section) smooth finished including rendering, complete all as specified and as directed.

Cement concrete type C-2, 1:3:6 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) in bed to drain pipe 150 mm dia including forming cradles against the sides of pipe after they are laid and tested complete all as specified and directed.

150mm internal dia RCC hume pipe class NP-2, laid in trenches and jointed in cement mortar, complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning old sewage lines any dia with Mechanically operated 25 tonne truck mounted desludger with 12000Ltr capacity tanker having water fitted high pressure jet machine for cleaning and desludging of sewage line, soak wells, septic tanks etc., shall be used by the contractor as per scheduled programme in writing and completion of each job to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge as instructed. ( NOTE : a) In case contractor fails to deploy the machine as per scheduled programme a recovery of Rs 1500/- per day shall be deducted from his payment. b) Per day means 8 working Hrs in a day excluding standby period due to any reason.)

Hire charges for engaging 01 Carpenter, 01 Plumber, 02 Sweepers and 02 Helpers in 01 shift from 900 hrs to 1700 Hrs per day on all working days including Sundays and Holidays along with complete T&P. The engaged manpower shall report at Parade Ground Service Centre for further detailment to attend day to day complaints during Parade Camp.

NOTE:- (Applicable to Srl Item No. 105 only). 1. The work will also include repair to aluminium and PVC joinery and may require welding work for which all T&P shall be provided by contractor and quoted rate against the item shall be deemed to include provision for same. 2. A recovery of Rs. 1000/- per person per day shall be affected from the payment of contractor for the absence from work during currency of contract period.

NOTE:- For minimum fair wages, EPF and payment to labour employed, refer Sch A Note No-17,18 and Special Condition No 5 & 21.2 of this tender. Contractor must produce all the relevent record such as payment made to labour, EPF etc at the time of payment of RARs/Final bill. No payment will be released to contrator without producing the proper record.

NOTE:- Irrespective of whatever specified elsewhere in tender documents, all the debris/waste materials produced out of above mentioned work shall be removed out of Cantonement land and disposed off at locations notified by the Delhi Cantonment Board for disposal of waste building materials within NCR area, without any extra cost to Department under own arrangement of contractors. The rates quoted by the contractors against the items catered here-in-above in the BOQ are inclusive of said provision.
