Earth work in excavation in ordinary soil exclusive of compensation of earth. Kassi work undressed involving an average horizontal throw upto 2 meters, and an average vertical lift upto 0.5 meter including breaking of clods. Excavated earth may be reused on berms and disposed off surplus earth with all lead and lift including dressing complete in territorial as per direction of Engineer-in-charge will be incidental to work and nothing will be paid. Preparation of sub grade including trenching, rough dressing of spoil, final dressing of earth, to given levels and camber, watering, rolling with road roller, and compacting the bed (HSR 24.1) Note: - In widening portion sub grade will be prepared with the use of Baby roller (HSR 24.1) or width of excavation should be made sufficient wide to accommodate road roller. Extra width required for compaction of sub grade shall not be paid and its expenditure shall be in incidental to the work.

Providing and laying 150 mm thick granular sub base consisting of filter layer confirming to Table 400.1 Grading - III of MoRT&H 5th edition, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mix material to the site of work, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve desired density complete as per clause No. 401 of MoRT&H specifications. Note: - 1.Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by the engineer.

Providing & laying 150 mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-II) 53mm to 22.4mm gauge wearing coat to water bound macadam in layer of 75mm each using screening type ‘B’ compacting with 3 wheeled steel roller/vibratory roller to achieve the desire density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause No.404 of MoRT&H specifications for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects.(N.S.) Note: - 1.Only crushed stone metal material should be used. No local earth/ natural occurring sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by the engineer.

Providing and laying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 grade pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg. per sqm. On the prepared bitumen/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom including cost of bitumen as per clause No.503 (5th edition) 2013 as per MoRT&H specification (N.S.)

Providing and laying 20mm thick premix carpet (PC) excluding cost of tack coat, with mixed material brought from Hot mix plant and laying with paver finisher and compacting with road roller to achieve specified value of compaction and direction of Engineer including cost of lighting arrangement, sign board and night watch, complete in all respect. i/c cost of Bitumen VG-10 grade as per clause 510 MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013 (NS). Note: - Before laying PC on existing black top all cracks shall be sealed as MORT&H specification (5th edition) clause No. 3004.3 which may consists of (i) Fog seal/ or (ii) crack filling and or (iii) patch work repair as required at site in accordance with clause No. 3004.3.2 and 3004.3.3 of MORT&H specification (5th edition) 2013 respectively. Proper measurement and consumption shall be entered in MB for fog seal/ or crack filling/ or patch work but no payment on this account shall be made as fog seal/ or crack filling/ or patch work is/ are incident to work.

Providing and laying ‘B’ type seal coat with VG-10 grade bitumen excluding cost of tack coat, with mixed material brought from Hot mix plant and laying with paver finisher and compacting with road roller to achieve specified/desirable value of compaction as per direction of Engineer including cost of lighting arrangement, sign board and night watch, complete in all respect as per clause 511 and 510.1.3 of MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013 (NS).

Cement concrete 1:4:8 with stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size in foundation and plinth (HSR 10.39)

Cement concrete 1:1-1/2:3 with stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size for reinforced concrete work but excluding steel reinforcement centring and shuttering in foundation and plinth (HSR 10.79 + 10.95 (a)

First class brick work laid in cement sand mortar 1:4 in foundation and plinth (HSR 11.4)

Steel reinforcement TMT bars FE-500 EQR/FE-500 D grade or more for RCC work, where no included in the complete rate of RCC including straightening, bending, binding, wastage, overlaps, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire etc. and placing in position complete in all respects for all heights /depths/storeys/basements etc. NOTE:- Reinforcement shall be measured in length including hocks, if any, separately for different diameters as actually used in work, excluding overlaps, Wastage, overlaps, couplings, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire or other methods for binding and placing shall not be measured and cost of these items shall be deemed to be included in the rates for reinforcement (HSR 18.22)
