Improvements to water supply facilities at Vettaikaranmedu Tsunami Hamlet (Phase-II) in Keezhakasakudy, Karaikal

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means over areas (exceeding 30cm in depth, 1.5m in width as well as 10sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth, lead upto 50m and for all lift as per direction of Engineer-in-charge by in charge - all kinds of soil.

Excavating trenches of required width for pipes, cables, etc including excavation for sockets and dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, depth upto 1.5 m including getting out the excavated soil and then returning the soil as required in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering , etc.and disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50m - All kinds of soil -Pipes,cables etc, exceeding 80mm dia but not exceeding 300 mm dia.

Providing, laying and jointing UPVC pipes (1 Mpa)conforming to IS specification 4985 and ISI marked including transportation to the site, lowering to the trenches, laying to proper grade and alignment, testing of joints with required testing equipment, including cost of solvent cement, UPVC specials such as bends, tees, threaded pieces, couplers, reducer, endcaps etc., complete all as per IS and CPWD specification. - 20mm dia.

Providing, laying and jointing UPVC pipes (0.6 Mpa)conforming to IS specification 4985 and ISI marked including transportation to the site, lowering to the trenches, laying to proper grade and alignment, testing of joints with required testing equipment, including cost of solvent cement,excluding UPVC specials such as bends,tees, threaded pieces, couplers, reducer, endcaps etc., complete all as per IS and CPWD specification. - 110mm dia.

Providing and fixing in position UPVC moulded equal Tee (0.6 Mpa) conforming to IS 7834 part II and ISI marked,including labour charges for jointing, jointing materials etc., complete - 110mm dia.

Providing and fixing in position UPVC moulded plain coupler (0.6 Mpa) conforming to IS 7834 part II and ISI marked,including labour charges for jointing, jointing materials etc,complete - 110mm dia.

Providing and fixing in position UPVC moulded endcap (0.6 Mpa) conforming to IS 7834 part II and ISI marked, including labour charges for jointing, jointing materials etc,complete - 110mm dia.

Providing and fixing in position UPVC moulded saddle set (0.6 Mpa)conforming to IS 7834 part II and ISI marked,including labour charges for jointing, jointing materials etc,complete - 110 x 20mm dia.

Dismantling of flexible pavements and disposal of dismantled materials upto a lead of 1000 metres, stacking serviceable and unserviceable materials seperately - by mechanical means - bituminous courses.

Providing , laying and jointing MDPE (PN16) pipe PE 80 as per ISO 4427 as per BS 6920 over and above initial 1m length including transportation to the site, lowering to the trenches, laying to the proper grade and alignment etc., complete all as per specification - 25mm outer dia.

Connecting the newly laid house service from the newly laid distribution grid to the existing service connection of each house with 25mm dia ASTM pipe having length 0m and upto 1m. The cost includes dismantling the existing service pipe, plastering, brick work wherever necessary and providing ASTM pipe and specials required including the labour charges for completing the connection. It also includes making good the diismantled area, all as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.
