DEMOLITION OF ROAD WORKS

Demolition of existing Bituminous roads including premix carpet, WBM, sub base, etc, till Finished Grade Level as specified in the dwgs (Approx. 1.2 Metre overall thickness), by manually or mechanical means including providing of tools, equipment, consumables, labour, loading of the debris on trucks, transporting, unloading and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material at respective designated locations with in or outside of the owner's battery limit 500 m beyond exit gate and as directed by owner / Engineer-in- Charge.

TRANSPORTATION OF SURPLUS EARTH/DEBRIS

Transportation of surplus earth/debris to dumping area outside site Carting the surplus excavated earth/rocks and debris from construction area beyond the initial lead of 500 meters to the approved dumping area outside the plant boundary at any distance from the site, including re-excavating the deposited soil excavated earlier, transportation, loading, unloading, laying at all depths/heights, stacking, levelling and dressing both the area (viz. from where the earth is carted and where it is deposited) to required levels and slopes complete with all lifts. Any payment of fee and duties for using the dump.

Road Works

Construction of Sub Grade

Earthwork in filling for subgrade and earthern shoulders with approved materials / earth brought from borrow pit including all lifts, transporting to site, all cost of all royalties / taxes etc for road work & spreading in layers of 200 mm compacted thickness, levelling and dressing the slopes, watering, rolling or tamping for achieving compaction of 90 % standard proctor density for soils, including the initial compaction of the cleared and stipped ground surface as per the specifications and as per directions of the Engineer in Charge, with lead upto 500m beyond the exit gate Note : If subgrade has to be prepared with the soil generated from within the Refinery area then royalty tax will not be applicable. under such circumtances contractor bill pass on the amount considered against royalty tax as per applicable rate at the time of execution of work.

Carriage

Same as above (29) but Extra for transportation and carriage of good earth / excavated earth / rubbish beyond the initial leads from 500 M upto 5 km

Removal of unsuitable soil including

Removal of unsuitable soil including excavation, loading and disposal upto 500m lead but excluding compaction ground supporting embankment subgrade replacement by suitable soil, which shall be paid separately

Excavation

Earth work in cutting for roads/pavement,culverts etc, in all types of soil,breaking the clods,transporting the earth to disposal area or to the areas to be filled up,levelling and dressing to the required slopes, setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials, lead upto 100m as directed and lift upto 2 metres, including clearing and stripping,surface dressing of the existing ground,inequilities of the area to the specified levels and grades,supply of labour,equipment,tools etc., complete as per drawing and the specifications and as per the directions of the Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation for roadway in Marshy soil with hydraulic excavator 0.9cu.m bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers and disposal with a lift upto 1.5m and lead upto 1000mm, trimming of bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirements of lines , grades and cross sections in Technical specifications.

Granular sub-base (150mm THK. for Drainage Layer)

Construction of granular sub-base for drainage layer spreading 150mm THK. for road/paving portion , tough, sound, clean and durable including cost of stone aggregate all royalties, taxes, handling, transportation to site, stacking the same by the side of road with all leads and lifts, spreading and laying to form draingae layer 150 mm compacted thickness to proper grade, camber and level,compacting with 8 to 10T vibratory road roller, watering including the required test involved, complete as per drawing, specifications, and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. Sub-base course (300mm THK)

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading and laying in two layers of 150mm Thick each, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 kN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening/binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading 1 (90 to 45mm) Using crushable screening such as moorum gravel for Gr.I. By mechanical means. The item is inclusive of all leads and lifts for carriage of the aggregates

Base Course (225mm THK. Wet mix Macadam Base Course)

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam specification including screening of aggregates and granular materials, premixing the material with water at OMC in Wet Mix Plant, carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with Paver in Sub- base / Base course on well prepared surface and compacting to achieve the desired density, including supply of all materials, machinery, fuel and lubricants, including incidental costs for lighting, guarding, barricading, making earthen bundh to protect the edges including cost of quality control.

Primer Coat

Providing and applying primer coat with Bitumen Emulsion (SS-1) shall be uniformly applied over the surface (WMM) using mechanical sprayers. Rate of application shall be at the rate of 20Kg per every 10m² area

Dense Bituminous Concrete (50mm THK)

Providing and laying Dense Bituminous Concrete on prepared surface with specified graded stone aggregate for wearring course including loading of aggregate with FE loader, and hot mixing of bitumen with filler and stone aggregate in hot mix plant, transporting the mixed material by tippers to paver and laying the mixed material with mechanical paver finisher fitted with electronic sensing device to the required level and grade and rolling with road rollers, as per MORTH specifications, to achieve the desired density and compaction but excluding cost of primer / tack coat. 50 mm compacted thickness with bitumen of grade CRMB - 60 @ 5.5% and lime @ 3% ( percentage by weight of total mix ).

Tack Coat

Providing and applying tack coat on Dence Bitumenous concrete using hot straight run bitumen of grade 80 / 100 including heating the bitumen, spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler, cleaning and preparing the existing road surface as per specifications.

On bituminous surface @ 0.50 Kg / sqm

Seal Coat

Providing and laying 10mm thick seal coat over premix carpet using bitumen layer 80/100 @ 98 kg/100 m2 of surface area and mixing with stone chips of size 6mm @ 0.92m3/100m2 of surface area as per correct grade and camber and rolling sufficiently with 8 to 10T smooth wheel roller etc, complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Road Repair Works

Filling potholes, depressions etc., on the existing road surface with bitumen precoated stone metal and adequately compacting with 8 to 10 ton static road roller. Allow for one tack coat (80/100 bitumen at the rate of 1 kg/m2) over the surface area of filling. Actual affected areas will be measured. (This item shall be carried out on old surface if specifically asked by the Engineer in Charge in writing)

R.C.C. WORKS

EXCAVATION

Earth work in excavation for all kind of Soil including all labour, materials, dressing of sides, pumping & bailing out water accumulated due to rain and / or subsoil waters and including disposal or stacking, leveling and neatly dressing as decided by Engineer-in-Charge of surplus excavated material within a lead of 500 M etc including providing temporary supports to existing service lines like water pipes, sewerage, electric cables, etc., if any, complete, including shoring/ strutting if required, all materials and labour complete and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge for following depth. Excavated soil shall be disposed at least 50 m away from the Plant Boundary / kept for backfilling within a radius of 500M and the charges for the same is included in this item.

BACKFILLLING AND EARTH DISPOSAL

LEAN CONCRETE (PCC 1:4:8)

Providing and laying in position Plain Cement Concrete 1:4:8 (1 Cement: 4 Coarse Sand: 8 Graded Stone Aggregates) with 40 mm and down size graded stone aggregate as leveling course in foundations, under slabs on grade etc., including tamping, curing, shuttering etc. complete for all depths and heights. For details refer specification for Plain and Reinforced concrete (NR-0ZZZZ-CV-SPE-0002).. Materials to be supplied as per approved vendor lists attached with special conditions of contract.

FOUNDATION CONCRETE

Providing and laying in position Reinforced Cement Concrete in open foundations, trenches, precast cover slabs of specified grade( design mix ) with 20 mm and down size graded stone aggregates including screening and cleaning of coarse aggregates, fineaggregate (sand) conforming to proper grading, zone, both of approved quality and Ordinary POrtlamnd Cement , as necessary, cost of curing with water, excluding cost of centering and shuttering and reinforcement including providing pockets/ shear keys during concreting, vibrating, tamping, curing, sampling, testing and rendering if required, to give a smooth and even surface etc. including cost and carriage of all materials and including preparation of design mix, approval of the same by the Engineer-in-Charge, cost for quality control,sampling, testing etc. including cost of all material & labor in substructure, footings and other similar items not specifically mentioned herein, for all depths, complete as per drawings, specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge/ owner. FORMWORK

Providing and fixing plywood centring and shuttering straight / inclined, in foundations for footings, rafts, retaining walls, trenches, pedestals, pipe sleepers, culverts, drains, pipe way bridges, tunnels, liquid storage structures etc. including keeping the same in position during concreting and removal of the same after specified period, keeping necessary provision for inserts, projecting dowels etc., tools, equipments and labour necessary for the work all compete, and as specified and directed.

SURFACE TREATMENT OF FOUNDATION Providing surface treatment to foundations in contact with aggressive water or soil in form of linings, membranes, mastic seal, coal tar epoxy paint, bitumen paint / layer, mortar fillet, protection board etc including materials, tools and tackles as specified in the Drawings, specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge. Inspections and Tests as per relevant specification / IS codes shall be deemed to be included in the scope

DEFORMED/TMT STEEL BARS FOR CONCRETE REINFORCEMENT

Supply and fixing in position TMT reinforcement bars Fe500D conforming to IS-1786 (FY=500 MPa) for RCC work including the cost of steel and cost of binding wire, carting the same to site of work, straightening, cleaning, cutting, binding with 18 SWG black soft annealed binding wire, and placing with proper cover blocks, supports, chairs, spacers, complete for all heights and depths complete as per drawing & specification. Materials to be supplied as per approved vendor lists attached with special conditions of contract. For payment reinforcement including authorized weight for spacer bars, laps, chairs etc shall be measured separately for diameter wise length actually used. Wastages & unauthorized laps shall not be considered for payment. Inspections and Tests as per relevant technical specifications and codes shall be deemed to be included in the scope
