REPAIR/RESURFACING MAINT OF ROAD AT KARCHAM AND SUMDO AND REPAINTING OF ROAD IN THE AREA OF AGE B/R PRITHI MIL STN

M&L for racking out joints upto a depth of 25mm, saw cutting the vertical sides of joints for making edges of joints straight upto the possible extent by keeping maximum width of joint 16 to 25mm, cleaning all loose particle/dust from the joints by using brushes, compressed air, blowers etc, fixing masking tape along either side of the joints, placing back up sheet 10 to 12 mm thick in position and filled with polyurethane based sealing compound (pitch free ) having 3 mm recess from top of joint after applying suitable primer as per manufacturer's instructions and removing masking tape, complete all specified and as directed.

-Ditto- all as per item No-01 but width of joint 10-15mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Repair to existing surface pavement by cutting inverted trapezoidal sections in regular shapes by diamond cutters and chiselling, removing loose concrete, cleaning with compressed air and washing with chemical water solution, priming epoxy resin primer at the rate of 0.34 kg/sqm applied by sprayer or brush and making good with epoxy mortar, including disposal of rubbish to a distance 250m but n,exc 500m complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- The washing agent shall of 15% diluted hydrochloride, epoxy resin primer and epoxy mortar shall be of approved makes as specified in tender complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of concrete (un-reinforced)of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material rock/concrete slab exc. 1.50 km but n exc. 5 km and depositing where directed complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Finishing surface of concrete roads, pavements, by brooming complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Polythene film (transparent colour) in single layer of 400 micron thickness, virgin quality as per ASTM D2103/IS" 2508 laid over sand layer with side and end overlapping not less than 150 mm complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (a) Measurement shall be taken for net area and unit rate quoted shall deemed to include for over lapping. (b):- Sand layer will be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule.

M&L for Cement concrete work in road /Path/ Hard Standing having minimum 28 days field flexural strength of 40kg/ sqcm , thickness of concrete 25cm or less, aggregate gradation as per table 3 of IRC 15-2017, coarse aggregate of clean, hard strong, dense, non-porous and durable pieces of crushed stone or gravel, fine aggregate of clean natural sand or crushed stone sand or combination of both using minimum cement content of 400 kg/cum complete all as specified and directed.Using Cement OPC 43 Grade only.Note :- (i) The design mix shall be got done from approved lab and got approved from GE/AGE (I) before commencement of work. (ii) In the event of variation in the design mix in the minimum cement content will be adjusted through supply only rate at market rate or procurment rate whichever is more for cement. However no plus adjustment shall be applicable, if excess quantity of cement content is used/ approved in the execution of work under this items. (iii) Required surface texturing to be done as specified in clause 10.1.14 and table 9 of IRC: 15-2017.

Supply only polyester non circular/ triangular synthetic fibres 6/12mm long with circum circle diameter of 30-35 microns, designed for melting point of 240-260 degree Celsius & having specific gravity 1.34-1.40. as secondary reinforcement in all types of concrete and mortars complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for forming 25mm wide contraction/expansion joint filled with compressible synthetic filler board, for complete depth of joint 200mm to 330mm as per site requirement provision of closed cell polyethylene backup sheet 12mm thick filled with polyurethane sealant (Minimum depth of sealant above potythelene sheet shall be of 15mm) complying with BS 5212, BS 4254 and EN 141875- 2003 (for hydrolysis/ water resistance test) priming the sites, with minimum MAF + 30% (with ten years performance guarantee) and appying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied by mechanical means all as shown on drawing and all as specified and as directed. Note:-(a) The make of filler board shall be of brand " DURA board HD 100" manufactured by M/S Supreme Industries Ltd or equivalent of makes listed here-in-before after. (b) The synthetic filler board shall be premoulded compressible black in colour having minimum density of 100( + ) 10% Kg/Sqm, water absorption less than 0.09kg/Sqm and compression recovery of 93% ( c) The make of polyethylene rod shall be of brand " DURA ROAD" manufactured by M/S Supreme Industries Ltd or equivalent of makes listed here-in-before after.(d) The polyethylene rod shall be of desired diameter having minimum density of 22kg/cum and compression strength of 0.40kg/sqm 25% greater than the joint Width, of white colour (e) Primer to be used before filling sealant ( f) Edge shall be levelled and jointed cut within 24 hours using diamond bit cutters of Bosch or equivalent used for cutting green concrete (g) The exposed vertical faces of slab shall be applied with one coat of white wash complete all as specified and as directed.
