REPAIRS TO CERTAIN SLAB OF RUNWAY, LINKS AT AF STATION CARNICOBAR

Material and labour for repairs to broken edges, deep cuts, spoiled joints, pop outs, broken corners, pot holes and developed cracks as per site requirement, cutting out concrete with concrete cutting machine, chiseling of concrete to shape as directed by Engineer-in-Charge to a depth of 50mm to 100mm, removing loose / scrapped material to a distance 100metre away from runway edge, cleaning the surface including drying surface by using blow lamp if the surface is wet, removing dust / dirt with compressed air pressure, including taking out the existing sealing compound grade B in affected area and priming the surface with epoxy resin based primer for concrete surface with Nitoprime – 25 Primer (FOSROC) of surface area after cutting all as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed. Note: The concrete surface area shall only be measured for payment.

Material and labour for high strength epoxy concrete FOSROC (Expocrete EC) filling for area prepared under item No. 1 above, with High strength epoxy based concrete prepared by mixing 27.5Kg Expocrete EC with 30kg of graded stone aggregate of size not exceeding 10mm as per mixing ratio of Epoxy Concrete by wt in kg Base(B):Hardener(H):Fine Filler (FF): Coarse aggregate(CA) at (4.537 : 2.145 : 20.818 : 30) respectively (the material shall be weighted accurately in the specified proportion). The epoxy concrete shall be applied in the prepared groove within 45 Minutes of application of epoxy resin primer as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The contractor shall provide the safety life jacket for all labour/supervisor including self and also provide work in progress board / pillar for working area and follow the rules of Airfield.

Make : STP (Shalipatch) / Choksey chemical (Product Name "Flex O Patch") / FOSROC Chemicals (Patch roc).

Raking out dummy joints 10mm to 12 mm x 30 mm, filled with sealing compound in single detached joints without disturbing the concrete surface underneath, dusting and cleaning the surface with stiff brushes etc., raking out all old compound and dust with compressed air and removing all old material away from the runway area and priming the joints with bituminous primer suitable for grade `B' sealing compound and filling the sealing compound grade B including scrapping of excess material complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No.4 above, but for expansion joint 25mm x 30mm without disturbing the joint filler material underneath all as specified and directed. Note : The contractor shall provided the safety life jacket for all labour/supervisor including self and also provide work in progress board / pillar for working area and follow the rules of Airfield.
