Dismantling structural steel work in cluding doors, gates but excluding framed truss etc.

Supply and fixing Framed brackets of angles or tees with web and flanges cut to shape, drilled and countersunk for screw, including bending and welding angles, as necessary, gusset plates, riveting, hinges and handles etc. n exc 10 kg each brackets, conforming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165 (Brackets over 10 kg each to be measured under 'Structural Steel for fabrication of valve pit chamber, raising main support and motor foundation supports etc.

Material and labour for Attending day to day water supply service related complaints like choking of rising main pipes of buildings, blockage in control valves/ float valves/ pipe fittings, etc, applying necessary engineering efforts like dismantle of pipes and fittings to clean and remove blocking objects, descaling of pipes, re-fixing of pipes on wall, etc to restore the proper flow of water to service tanks all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note for item No 31 :- (a) The contractor has to attend above mentioned job in any location of entire Air Force Stn Jalahalli West area

(b) The service tanks are positioned on roof top of multi storied buildings upto three storey. Contractor is responsible to ensure that the labour employed should be equipped with safety items like industrial helmet, safety belt, extensible ladder of 40 feet length, plumbing and cuttings tools, etc.

(c) The cost of rethreading of GI pipes of 25mm dia and adding of new GI nipple of suitable length after rethreading is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(d) Due to shortage of water in the station, the repair work and testing required under this item need to be carried out during water supply distribution hours i.e. 5:30 AM to 7:30 AM. Nothing extra shall be permitted in this regard.

(e) The cost of repair to the damages of cemented surfaces/ external finishes/ metal clamps of rising pipes are also deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(f) In case of any delay in attending the complaint more than 6 hrs after handing over routine/urgent complaints, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty as described in penalty clause given here as under.

(g) If the delay is more then 06 hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 100/- per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other then the condition 56 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt.

(h) The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding.

Cleaning of service tanks of the capacity as mentioned below on roof top of bldgs upto three storrey after disconnection from inlet and outlet pipe, removing of float valve of service tank and keep aside safely for reuse drain out water through drain plug, cleaning thoroughly to remove all scales and dirt by brushing internal surface, cleaning properly inside with soda wash, flushing out with fresh water, re-positioning of tank at same place, re-connecting inlet and outlet pipes, closing of drain plug, re-installation of float valve duly cleaned, writing/ labelling the record of cleaning carried out with white bold letter such as "TANK CLEANED ON"--------- (month and year), including removing creepers, vegitation and roots of plants, trees branches on or surrounding of service tank complete all as directed. Note:-(i) Unit rate quoted is deemed to be included for testing of water supply in tank both inlet and outlet flow during next supply hours early in the morning or late in evening. (ii) Contractor shall maintain a pucca bound register for cleaning carried out with date and obtain users signature and remarks if any and this register to be submitted alongwith RAR. (iii) Contractor is liable to rectify any damages to the external finishes of the bldg occured during the cleaning process, i.e. scrubbing and touch up with external paints as existing specifications. Unit rate quoted is deemed too be included the cost of the same. (iv) All sort of petty T&P items such as ladder, safety equipment, nuts, bolts, washers etc. required to accomplish the job shall be provided by the contractor with out any extra cost to dept.

Material and labour for Bricks covering with width equal to length of brick as mechanical protection to cable with well burnt sub class ‘B’ bricks laid dry flat complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

Material and labour for ribbed soil 8 cm below cable and 15 cm above cable for cushioning of cable and punned to 18 cm all as specified and directed. Note :- 1. Excavated soil shall shall be riddle by using sieve to separate composite particles etc as per IS 1255-1983 and refilling in trenches all as in cable cushioning. 2 Punned soil only measured for paymentpurposes.

Material and labour for XLPE LT cable of size 185 Sqmm 3 ½ core insulated heavy duty electric cable with aluminium multi stranded conductor 1100 volts grade served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape armoured with galvanised steel wire or tape and overall sheather laying in trenches/cable ducts, fixed to wall/pole and including taking down old unserviceable cable complete all as specified and directed Make :- Havells, Polycab, RPG Asian . Supply and fix PVC water tank 2000 Ltrs Capacity Rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR Part I, complete all as directed incl disconnecting existing tank of any description and capacity and removal from site.

Material and labour for Making arrangement to flush out the existing pipe line of any type upto 50mm bore and upto 100m length, applying 4.5 N/sqmm pressure to remove scalings/ sludges/ other blocking materials to make smooth flow of water including testing all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Making arrangement to flush out the existing pipe line of any type 63 to 100 mm bore and upto 100m length, applying 4.5 N/sqmm pressure kg/sq cm pressure to remove scalings/ sludges/ other blocking materials to make smooth flow of water including testing all as specified and directed.

Note for item 100 to 101 :- (i) The Contractor is deemed to arrange necessary tools and equipments, removing or alteration of fittings from existing pipe lines, arragement of plugging devices, etc to build up specified pressure required to wash out the pipes. This will be inclusive in quoted rate. (ii) Excavation and earth work required will be measured and paid seperately. (iii) The flushing out will be carried out with fresh filled water of well only duly chlorinated with specified sodium hypochlorite solution to disinfect the pipe lines from all pathogens and Coliform organisms.This will be inclusive in quoted rate.

Material and labour for preparation of old painted external surface by brooming down scrubbing with steel wire brush, scraping old distempered and painted surface and applying two coat of cement base paint to service tanks in building and under ground sump/ RCCTanks all specified for tanks capacity of 200 to 500 Ltrs.
