DG Sets Supply, installation, commissioning and testing totally enclosed type (type silent operation with canopy, CPCB approved), static type diesel engine driven, generating set of 62.5 KVA (50 KW) capacity confirming to BS-2613/IS-4722, 4 wire 50 Hz 415 volts supply under NTP condition when running at 1500 RPM complete including engine alternator mounted on common base plate of rigid fabricated mild steel base frame all as recommended by manufacturer and having following provision all as specified and directed. The silent canopy shall be as per the central pollution control board norms. The silencer canopy shall be manufactured by the manufacturer of the engine itself. The make and model of generator set to be installed with engine details shall be as specified and comprising of the following:- (A) ALTERNATOR: Alternator AC ,3 phase 415 volts 4 wire rated line current for output 62.5 KVA (50 KW), PF 0.8 1500 RPM insulation class enclosure/SPDP self-excited, self-regulated brushless, complete with AVR with +1% voltage regulation directly coupled with above engine. (B) DIESEL ENGINE : Diesel shall be of adequate capacity suitable for above alternator after de-rating factor as per MSL height and temperature for work site and as per relevant IS code having provision of coupling shaft to drive the above alternator independently after considering power losses in all the accessories forming part of the set i.e couplings any type FIP, water cooler, direct injector (if provided fan etc engine should be multistage, vertical multi cylinder water cooled, 4 stroke, direct injection cold starting, RPM 1500, industrial type standard accessories complete in all respect including provision of GI strip and protection pipe upto main board/ panel/ DG set including all provisions as recommended by manufacturer and following provisions complete all as specified and directed Note:- DG set will be conforming to notification of min of environment date 17 May 2002 (i) Fly wheel with housing. (ii) Air cleaner dry type. (iii) Corrosion resisters. (iv) fuel filter, oil filter (v) FIP system including pump injectors solenoid controls. nozzles. governors etc. (vi) Radiator including water pump with fan (vii) Cylinder with buffers, tail pieces duly insulated with asbestos/lagging and sufficiently extended to carry exhaust outside the DG set building

(viii) Electrically starting system consisting of the following items:- (a) Lead acid battery 12 volts, 150 AH initially charged. (C) ACCOUSTIC ENCLOSURE Provision of an integral type approved/certified acoustic enclosure. It shall be made of 16 SWG or manufacturer's standard norms out of CRCA sheet with powder coated finish on outside and provided with non igniting fire retardant foam as acoustic material of suitable thickness and perforated sheet of stainless steel as per manufacturer design. The doors and glass window shall be as per manufacturer's design. The base frame shall be of ISMC. It shall also include the following:- (i) Base : MS channel fabricate MS channel made out of 5mm thick MS sheet of ISMC suitable section. (ii) Structure heavy duty rectangular MS box channel (iii) Doors fabricated from MS CRCA 2 mm thick air tight with neoprene rubber gasket and gun metal heavy duty spring loaded locks. (iv) outside cover : made out of CRCA sheet 2mm thick (v) Acoustic insulation (side & top) sound proofing mineral rock wool slab of density 96Kg/m3 confirming to IS 0183 thickness 100mm covered by fire resistant fiver tissue as per manufacturer recommendation. test report form original manufacturer to be submitted before incorporation in the work for authenticity of material. (vi) Inside cover: CRCA perforated sheet 06mm thick powder coated

(G) FUEL TANK:- one No of sheet metal steel tank of suitable capacity of hold diesel sufficient for 12 hours running at full load, mounted on angle iron frame including the following:- (i) Level indicator to indicate level of diesel in tank. (ii) Drain plug with 2.0 mtrs pipe for drain oil./ (iii) fuel strainer (iv) pipe for fuel.
