Notes: The Basic Rate quoted Ser item No 1 to 37 are deemed to include for the following and nothing extra will be paid for these works: (i) Supplying, erecting and use of scaffolding upto required height (max 25 to 30m) with necessary H-frames, pipes, couplers, buckles, bracing, top platform with support railing at top etc. at all levels of building including carriage of the materials to the location, erecting, fixing the scaffolding and dismembering the same after working and taking away the scaffolding materials etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (ii) Supply, fixing & use of dust proof netting with all required accessories/ fixing arrangement so as to cover existing installations and arrest the materials generated during repair work in adjoining areas and to prevent damage or nuisance to the existing structure; including proper provision of netting system before start of work, removal after completion of work, carrying out regular cleaning etc. complete as per site requirement & directions of Engineer-In-Charge. (iii) Supporting the structural components temporarily during repair and streghthening works using heavy duty flat-headed steel pipes vertically in plumb, braced horizontally and diagonallay at centre with each other using suitable heavy steel tubes, and resting on wooden blocks to support the structure provisionally during repairs and maintaining them in position for required duration, complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (iv) During execution of work column of the bldg shall be repaired in alternate.
(v) Structural rehabilitation work shall be got executed through one of the specialist firm(s) listed below as approved by GE prior to commencement of work:- (a) Rebuild Technologies Services Pvt Ltd 602, 6th Floor, Tulsee Chamber, Teen Petrol Pump, Thane (W) E (b) Techton Buildcons Pvt Ltd 203, Plot No 6, Milenium Plaza, Sakinaka Telephone Exchange Lane, Off AK Road Andheri E-Mumbai 72 (c) Sanrachana Structural Strenthening Pvt Ltd 103, 104, Monalisa CHS, Hariniwas Circle, Thane West - 400602 (d) USHTA Infinity Construction Co Pvt Ltd Ushta House, C-17/79 Krishna Industrial Estate, Gorwa, Vadodara - 390016 India (e) Gubbi Civil Engineers 18/26 Dev Prayag CHS, Opp Thanawala garrage, Bhakti Mandir Road, Near Hari Nivas Circle Thane (W), Thane, Maharashtra 4006025. (f) M/S Krishna conchem Producted Pvt Ltd. All repair/ structural / rehabilitation work of RCC structural members shall be carried out by approved firm as mentioned above. Before commencement of work, the contractor shall submit copy of MoU on non judicial stamp paper of Rs 500.00 with any specialized agency who is approved applicator of above mentioned firm from which he proposes to carry out the work of Sch ‘A’ pertaining to structural repair/ rehabilitation with all connected items of Sch ‘A’ alongwith other relevant document. Such specialist agency should have valid authorization letter from the manufacturers.
Removing, chipping and cleaning of existing loose and damaged concrete carefully upto 60mm thickness by low impact high frequency hammer or by manual chipping without damaging the existing concrete including cleaning the surface by air jet and stacking & disposal of unserviceable materials outside the premises, etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
Material and labour for clean existing reinforcement with wire/ rotary wire brush, making the surfaces free from loose material dirt etc., complete and applying two coats of alkaline rust converting primer in two coat on the rebars, including cleaning the reinforcement, wire brushing to remove loose rust spalls, wash the rebars with clean water within 3 min and wipe it dry complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: Second coats of rust converting primer shall be applied after 24 hours from the first coat.
Material and labour for applying two coats of epoxy based zinc primer in a span of four hours over the treated rebars and allow to dry for six hours. The application shall be by brush complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
Material and labour for cleaning all loose laitance on the concrete substrate and applying one coat of epoxy bonding agent on exposed concrete surface to ensure bond between old concrete and new concrete by brush application complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
Providing and applying ready to mix polymer cement plaster with high quality polymer additives (Polymer plaster) with 4 MPa compressive strength of required thickness over the entire cleaned surfaces including all tools and tackles, etc., in damaged areas in 40 to 50 mm thickness including leveling profliling etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
Material and labour for drilling and fixing rohibb teflon nozzles in RCC members, including drilling holes of 12mm dia, upto 100mm deep holes. Works shall be carried out as under complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge:- (i) Cleaning of holes - Clean the holes by air blower prior to fixing nozzles. (ii) Fixing of nozzles - Insert 12mm dia. Rohibb Teflon nozzles in cleaned holes. External end of nozzles to be machine to receive outlet of grouting gun. Fix it inside the holes by applying thixotropic epoxy putty to ensure complete sealing. Cure the system for min 12 hrs. (iii) Cutting of nozzles - Cut the nozzles by chisel after completion of grouting without damaging structural elements. (iv) In case crack upto 2mm wide, fix the injection nozzels directly over the cracks, at intervals of 6 to 9 inches, using a drilling machine. Fix PVC/MS nozzels in these holes with fast-setting epoxy putty & let it dry for 2 to 3 days. Also, seal the crack between the ports with epoxy putty. (v) In case where the crack is wider than 2mm upto 4 to 5mm, drill holes at the sides of the crack in a staggered fashion, at intervals of 6 inches and affix them with epoxy putty as mentioned above. (vi) Also, seal the face of the crack with a liberal application of the epoxy putty.
Material and labour for injecting of site mixed cement slurry grout, mixed in specified proportion containing cement, sand water with addition of plasticizers (approved make) and migratory corrosion inhibitors, water cement ratio shall be varied between 0.5 to 1.0 for each hole, shrinkage compensating cement slurry mixed to a slump free fresh creamy consistency, mixing shall be done by mechanical mixer continuously stirring mechanically to keep cement particles in suspension. Injection of approved/specified grout by means of pump at a pressure of 3-5 Kg/cm2 etc complete till the grout mix flows out from the nozzle indicating complete filling of grout in the holes drilled complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
Material and labour for injecting low viscosity (3-5cps) high molecular weight monomer by pressure and using mechanized injector gun with accessories till nozzles refuses to accept the grout, including, mixing of material as: Mixing of material components (part a&b) in the required quantities as per manufacturer's instruction by weigh batching. Grouting: Fill the grouting gun with concrete penetrating corrosion inhibitor. Maintain desired pressure in the gun by air compressor; maintain the pressureat exit (2 to 3kg/cm2) by monitoring pressure guage at exit. Grout the material through prefixed nozzles in the structural elements @ 100ml per nozzle. Repeat the process for all the nozzles complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
Material and labour for providing and applying jacketing around columns with micro concrete (Molith-MC) M40 including all lifts, shuttering, strutting and propping etc, drilling holes and fixing shear anchor complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: Reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately. Quoted rates including jacketing, formwork and micro concrete.
Material and labour for mild steel bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: Replacement of steel reinforcement with TMT bars of appropriate size where 30% of cross section is reduced including dismantling of rusted steel.
Material and labour for 5mm dia and over upto and including 10mm dia additional main steel bar or stirrups of designed diameter in various structural elements like column, beams and foundations including drilling, bending, welding and fixing the bars with epoxy putty etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. (Steel provided on the basis of 1% of volume of concrete). Note: Replacement of steel reinforcement with TMT bars of appropriate size where 30% of cross section is reduced including dismantling of rusted steel.
Material and labour for anchoring reinforcement bar (shear bar 150mm length approximate) in existing RCC member in drilled holes and grouting in position with epoxy resin anchor grout of approved brand, including drilling of holes, cleaning etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: Bar shall be measured and paid separately.
Material and labour for providing watertight formwork of timber planks so as to give a rough finish including centering, shuttering, strutting and propping etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
Material and labour for new or old external wall surface by wire brushing/ grinding in order to remove dust, dirt, loose particles, laitance. Thereafter wash the surface with mechanical water nozzal with clean water and allow to dry. Fill visible cracks/ joints by crack seal compound and epoxy base joint filler including resin and hardener in proportion as per maufactures instruction and allow to dry for 24 hours. Apply one coat of water base primer (with mechanically airless paint sprayer machine) and allow to dry for 6 hours appx. Thereafter apply 02 coats of WB high build anti caronating coating cum waterproofing (with mechanically airless paint sprayer machine) and match with brush at the interval of 08 hours between the coat and allow to dry to match the existing shade in camouflage pattern including or plain paint necessary scaffolding necessary security for the workers for any height, covering etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: External water proofing treatment on wall at any height of the building including acrylic paint shall be applied by mechnaically airless paint sprayer machine only.
Material and labour for silicon gun paste around windows of any type and size including any height of the building by using scaffolding complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
Demolition of cement concrete in ground floor and paving not exc 15cms thick below or above ground level unreinforced complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
Material and labour for PCC 1:3:6, type C2 (Using 40mm graded stone aggregate) 75mm thick as in plinth protection without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
Taking down cement plaster on brick walls or stone walls etc including racking out joint, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc., including removing debries directed for a distance max upto 500m complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
Demolition of precast concrete block masonary built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc., and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
Material and labour for precast cement concrete block masonry with solid blocks in 10cm in width in type B1 1:2:4 (Using 20mm graded stone aggrgate) and setting in mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
Demolition of brick work or stone boulded masonry built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
Material and labour for brick work with sub class 'B' bricks using old size bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radious built in CM 1:6 etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
Material and labour for ready mix plaster for rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick/ concrete surfaces in CM 1:4, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: WPC to be measured and paid separately.
Material and labour for ready mix plaster for rendering 10mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces of walls in cement mortar 1:6 finished even and smooth (without using extra cement) complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
Material and labour for ready mix plaster for rendering 5mm thick on ceilings in cement mortar 1:3 and finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for newly plastered surface and prepare the smooth surface with sand paper and applying two coats of oil bound acrylic distemper on walls or ceiling complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
Material and labour for applying 2mm thick exterior grade wall care putty on walls complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
Material and labour for complete removal of existing treatment from old decorated plastered surfaces of walls by vaccum based sanding machine, removal of nails etc., and filling cracks /hole with putty, applying wall care putty upto 2mm thick as required (multipurpose mixer shall be used for uniform and proper mixing of putty) and applying two coats of oil emulsion distemper white or coloured over a coat of approved primer by auto roller complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: Work will be strictly executed by mechinised means/ tools as required for smart periodical services.
Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
Material and labour for non skid coloured ceremic tiles 7 to 8mm thick (square/rectangular) area of each tile exc 0.18 sqm but not exc 0.38 sqm, as in floors over screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 15mm in cement mortar 1:6 set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
Material and labour for double charged, ultra charged, dark shade vitrified tiles 8-10mm thick (square/ rectangular) area of each tile exc 0.18 sqm but not exc 0.36 sqm in floors etc., set and jointed in neat cement slurry and jointed in white/coloured cement to match over and including 10mm thick screed bed in cement mortar in 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
Material and labour for double charged, ultra charged, dark shade vitrified tiles 7 to 8mm thick (square/ rectangular) area of each tile exc 0.18 sqm but not exc 0.36 sqm in dado, skirting etc., set and jointed in neat cement slurry and jointed in white/coloured cement to match over and including 10mm thick screed bed in cement mortar in 1:3 complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for glazed ceramic coloured designer concept tiles matching with existing tile 350x250x7mm /450x350x7mm size as in walls set and jointed in neat cement slurry over 10mm thick recuing in cement mortar 1:4 and pointed in coloured cement to match for work on vertical surface such as skirting dado etc ., complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
