Excavation in trenches, not exc 1.5 m wide and n. exc 1.5 m depth, or n exc 10 Sqm on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth for foundations of poles, struts, stays etc. or laying underground cable and water supply / sewage pipe line etc. in soft / loose soil & getting out including taking out old brick or precast cable cover complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 cm in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removal of excavated soil/ material to a distance not exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for road cutting for laying of water supply pipe lines upto 250 mm dia including returning filling in and making good disturbed surface with cement and concrete work to match with the existing surface complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge .

Taking up or down 150 mm dia bore (thickness of pipe 1.6mm) galvanised steel water tubing including connections, fixed in walls, ceiling or laid under floor or laid in trenches etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- Excavation and earthwork shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of BOQ.

Fixing only 150mm bore old galvanised steel water tubing including cleaning with & including new fittings and fixed complete to walls and ceilings or laid in floors in new or old position complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- (i) GI tubing retrieved vide item No 5 shall be used under this item. (ii) Cost of all type fittings & connections if required is deemed to included to in the unit rate of this items nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

M&L for repair to joint (clamp type) of size 150mm bore by replacement of unserviceable rubber ring, gasket, nut bolts washer etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F in replacement 15mm bore galvanized steel water tubing medium grade with & including all fittings and fixed complete to walls and ceilings or laid in floors / trenches complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per Srl item No 22 above but 100 mm dia bore.

S&F in replacement cast iron double orifice air release valve, ISI marked, IS:14845, PN 1.6 pressure rating with stainless steel float, having flanged ends with two air outlets, 50mm dia ISI marked including jointing material such as clamps, nuts, bolts, washers and rubber sheet etc complete all as specified and directed Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement Cast iron non return valve / reflux valve with rubber seat flanged type with by pass arrangement suitable for 80mm bore pipe, ISI marked, class PN-1.6 conforming to IS- 5312/2004 with stainless steel spindle, CI gate with brass nuts, bolts, washers and jointing with necessary ruber gasket etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per Srl item No 26 above but 100 mm dia bore.

S&F in replacement Cast Iron foot valve for 80 mm bore pipe, lift flanged type as per IS-4038 complete all as specified and directed by Engrineer-in-Charge.

M&L for taking out 80 / 100 / 150mm bore non return valve from the water pipe line and replacement with new synthetic leather seat best quality of suitable size, nut bolts, rubber gasket, finishing work as required to make smooth funtioning and refixing in the same position, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for repair to foot valve of 80 / 100 / 150 mm size by disconnecting from pipe line and replacement of cast iron door plate assembly, hinge pin / disc guide pin, rubber door face and rubber gasket and fixing on same location and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engrineer-in-Charge.

Supplying & fixing DI fittings confirming to IS-9523-2000 suitable for spigot & socketed pipes such as bends (any type, radius and angle), tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc),tee pieces, single branch, 'Y' junction, double branch, cross collar, caps and plugs etc. suitable for spigot and socketed pipes upto 150 mm bore complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Welding work and any addition / alteration, cutting and jointing blank flanged to the DI / CI / GI pipe including suitable nut bolts, washer, rubber gasket complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- Blank flange will be measured and paid for seprately.

M&L for Construction of brick masonry in repair of valve pit of internal size 180cm x 180cm x 180cm including necessary excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil, brick work, plastering, white wash, PCC coping, MS frame made out of angle iron of size 40mmx40mmx6 mm, MS sheet cover of 3 mm thick fixed to angle iron frame by means of hinges welded to frame and painting with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on steel surfaces and grouting the frame in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 including handle and locking arrangement with one number 50 mm dia brass pad lock, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge Note :- (i) Brick wall shall be 23 cm thick built in cement mortar (1:4) (ii) Internal plaster shall be 15 mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) and external plaster upto 450mm from top shall be 20mm thick in CM (1:6) and remaining external surface shall be flush pointing in CM (1:6) as the work proceeds. (iii) PCC in foundation shall be 15 cm thick in cement concrete (1:4:8) type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate extended 15 cm all around from the external face of the walls. (iv) PCC coping shall be 15 cm thick in cement concrete ( 1:2:4) type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate including grouting of angle iron frame in PCC. (v) Three coats of white wash to internal surfaces of valve pit. (vi) Depth of valve pit shall be reckoned from the top of PCC in foundation.

Supply only in replacement of 'D' Joint / mechanical joint suitable for DI / CI pipe 80/100mm dia bore including excavation work and other fittings such as nut bolts, rubber joints etc required including testing at site complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per Srl item No 38 above but 150/ 200 mm dia bore.

M&L for taking out 80 / 100 / 150mm bore sluice valve from the pipe network, draining the system as required, refacing, regrinding and replacement of gun metal nut, threading, welding work, finishing work as required to make smooth funtioning and refixing in the same position, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) Excavation & earthwork including dewatering etc required for the job is deemed to be included in the rate quoted.

All as per Srl item No 40 above but 200 / 250 mm dia bore.

M&L for repair to joint of spigot and socket joints, fittings joints of CI pipe line of size 80 / 100 / 150 mm by making leak proof joint by caulking with caulking tool and using lead wool and spun yarn as required on site including any excavation works as required at site complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Excavation & earthwork including dewatering etc required for the job is deemed to be included in the rate quoted.

S&F in repair rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tank ISI Marked (cylindrical vertical double layered with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position of capacity 1000 litres including ball brass valve, high pressure with polythene float and flynut screwed for 20 mm dia GI pipe, 25mm bore GI washout pipe 15 cm long fitted with check nut, 20mm bore over flow pipe 1.50 metre long fitted with brass anti-mosquito nest coupling at the end of over flow pipe & 15mm bore GI air vent pipe 1.30 metre long fitted with tee at the end of air vent pipe (All GI pipes shall be medium grade) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down RO unit of cap 60 / 100 Ltrs/hrs carefully and strip opening the unit and checking for UNSV parts as under and replacing the defective parts such as corntrol wiring, sediment filter, membrane, carbon filter, pvc flexible connection pipe, fitting i.e. as elbow, union, tee, adaptor etc and refixing the same in original position after testing & commissioning complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : -The cost of spares used shall be measured & paid for seprately as "Supply only".

Disconnecting electric supply of motor pump set from main panel board, suction, discharge line and keeping aside for foundation repair work and replacement nuts bolts of pump set, taking out and refixing pump set after foundation repair complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of cement concrete unreinforced of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M & L for PCC (1:3:6) typeC-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation for motors & mass concrete including necessary form work and fair finishing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

M&L for repair fabrication of irom frame structure for supporting different pipe network and fabrication of iron jali, stair, sludge scrap trap jali, strainer etc as inlcuding welding work as required including one coat of red oxide oxide premier and two coat of synthetic enamel paint weather proof complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note :- A sum of Rs. 67207/- will be deducted on account of credit for dismantled/ demolished / taken down material.
