Excavation of cable trench in any type of soil including literate strata of size 400mm (width) X 600mm (depth)X length in Mtrs. with supply and spreading river sand below and above the cable to a thickness of 100 mm. Supply and providing well burnt bricks for covering the cable on both sides & top after cable laying throughout the cable length. In case the depth of the excavated trench is less than 600 mm due to rock, in such portion of length, semicircular cement pipe/C- channel etc shall be kept & concreted by providing required materials as per site requirement. Excavated trench shall be back filled using the available soil. All other details are as per Technical specifications and as directed by Engineer in charge on the basis of site condition.

Laying of following over all diameter sizes power cables/control cables/ telephone cables/OFC cables in the already excavated trench (cable will be issued from NPCIL as free issue item & contractor has to arrange for transportation from NPCIL store to Site). All other details are as per Technical specifications and as directed by Engineer in charge on the basis of site condition.

Glanding, Termination, connection & testing of armoured / unarmoured cables of following sizes. Fault finding on Power/Control cable shall be carried out using suitable means of cable testing and fault locating equipment. The scope of work includes, arranging Testing kit, associated accessories, tracing the fault & necessary excavation will be carried out & will be paid separately in relevant item for identifying the exact location of fault at site. The fault shall pin pointed on showing the location of cable fault. The bidder has to ensure and identify multiple faults if any on the cable. Arranging fault locating kit, transportation from their works to Kaiga site & back is in the scope of bidder. All as per Technical specification & as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.

Excavation of cable trench in any type of soil including literate strata of size maximum 500mm (width) X 900mm (depth) till the tracing the faulty cable. After removing the faulty cable, excavated trench shall be back filled back using the available soil & ramming to normal surface. All other details are as per Technical specifications and as directed by Engineer in charge on the basis of site condition.

Supply & providing of well burnt bricks of size approximate 9" X 4 1/2" X 3" with supply & spreding of river sand for covering the cable on both sides & top after cable laying throughot the cable length.

Providing and applying Background paint using First Quality Synthetic Enamel paint, black paints of approved shade/ colour and writing Identification Letters and Numbers etc. using First quality Synthetic Enamel paint including preparation of surfaces properly/ neatly by using sand paper, wire brush, soft brush/ by other suitable approved means for removal of oil, grease, dead/waste mortar or concrete debris, dust, existing old paint (in places wherever it is not in good condition) and other unwanted matters/things/materials etc. Steel/PCC/RCC/Masonry/Plastered surfaces shall be cleaned & washed with clean water. Surfaces shall be fully neat, clean, dry before applying background paint and also before writing Identification Letters and Numbers etc. Providing, fixing for carriage of construction /work material up to work place is in the scope of Contractor. Paint shall be conforming to the relevant BIS specification of the latest edition, cleaning, washing the work areas with clean water as and when directed and disposing the waste etc. complete all as per specification & as per directed by Engineer-In-Charge at all locations.

Carrying out cutting and cleaning of grown wild vegetation, bushes, grass, small plants less than 100mm girth and all other unwanted wild growth/ creepers, etc. The bushes/ small plants shall be cut manually/ mechanically wherever possible. The cost is inclusive of all manpower tools & tackles required to carry out the job. Hire charges of weed cuting machine and manpower required to carry out such work, disposal of cut bushes out side the premises etc., complete all as per specification & as per directed by Engineer-In-Charge at all locations.
