M &L for Comprehensive, preventive and periodical maintenance of Various Equipments of Laundry plants comprising of opening, dismantling of the Washer Extractor machine using adequate labour and disconnecting all steam / water connection and electrical connection, cleaning / servicing of steam heating coil, steam trap, installed in main bldg AHRR Complex as mentioned here-in-after, in reliable, safe.smooth,healthy and efficient manner using latest techniques & OEM guideline for daily/monthly/quaterly/half yearly/ yearly maintenance/ servicing/ lubricating/greasing and adjusting the mechanical and electrical driving equipment, shaft assembly, bearing / contact, governor jaws in and including change of lubricating oil,grease,all rubber gaskets/ packing of all equpment and oil seales as per OEM priscription and replacement of kinds of minor defective / spares parts i.e. wire, lugs, nut, bolts,screw etc and all machine work i.e. welding, cutting, drilling etc as and when required,in and including repair/replacement of defective spares parts mentioned in Sch – ‘A’ as 'supply only' to entire satisfaction of Engineer -in- charge,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In Charge for following laundry Equipments-

The comprehensive/preventive/ periodical maintenance includes.

The complete records of the replased spare parts, other than mentioned in sch 'A' under Srl item 2 to 30 her -in after, will be maintained and will be produced to Engineer-in charge on monthaly basis or as and when asked to produced the same. The rate quoted by the tenderer also included taking down existing unservieable parts and replacing them by new parts whcih shall be supplied under Srl item 2 to 30 her-in after as supply only.

All the complaint(s) will be addressed within 02 hrs from the time of receipt of complaint. If, contractor or his tradesmen fails to attend the complaint within 02 hrs from the time of receipt of complaint, the compensation/penalty of Rs. 500.00 (Rupees Five Hundred only) per complaint per hr for first 04 hrs and after that Rs. 1000.00 (Rupees One Thousand only) per complaint per hr shall be recovered from the contractor’s dues.

All the complaint(s) is required to be rectify within 24 hrs or within stipulated time given by the JE/Engineer-in-charge. If, contractor or his tradesmen fails to rectify the defect, the compensation of Rs. 500.00 (Rupees Five Hundred only) per complaint for each day (i.e. 24 hours) shall be recovered from the contractor’s dues. The decision of accepting officer in this regard shall be final and binding.

The cost of transportation (to and fro) and other necessary equipment shall be arranged / brought by contractor to complete the job and no extra cost shall be paid to the contractor in this effect.

The cost of balancing / alignment of cylindrical basket, remattling the shaft by taking it to the lathe work shop complete all as specified and directed by EIC for above mentioned laundry Equipments.

Servicing of existing Screw/Reciprocating type air compressor of any make/ model, by engaging sufficient man power and suitable T&P to ensure safety of plant as well as working persons including disconnecting of air / electric connections, dismantling of air compressor by unscrewing/ cutting of screws, nuts & bolts etc, dismantling of air filter, unserviceable parts / items, air receivers, moisture separator, air suction silencer and fixing the new spare part as given below, replacing complete oil with new oil of recommended Make & grade, adjusting / balancing the compressor parts/items including all machine works i.e. welding, cutting, drilling etc as and when required and reassembling the compressor, making electric connection and testing for leakage, required air pressure & suction temperature etc, complete all as directed.

The cost of transportation (to and fro) and other necessary equipment shall be arranged / brought by contractor to complete the job and no extra cost shall be paid to the contractor in this effect.

The defective spares parts / items will be measured and paid separately under respective items only. The replacement cost (labour charges) for all defective spares parts / items mentioned in BOQ (Sch – ‘A’)here in after as "supply only", is deemed to be included in quoted rates and no extra cost shall be paid to the contractor in this effect at any stage.

(i) The air compressor will be handed over to contractor in as and where condition. Hence, the bidder is advised to visit the site to assess the quantum of work to be carried out in this contract. No claim on condition of Air Compressor will be accepted at later stage and bidder is deemed to have visited the site to ascertain the condition of Air Compressor. (iii) The cost of any spare part (s), other than specified here-in-above and which are essential to be replaced for smooth working of compressor is deemed to be included in quoted rates and no extra cost shall be paid to the contractor on this account. (iv) The cost of all kind of repair including minor items i.e. wire, lugs, nut, bolts, screws etc, is deemed to be included in quoted rates and no extra cost shall be paid to the contractor on this account. (v) The entire work shall be carried out by the OEM or auth dealer of the OEM only.

M&L for preventive and periodical repair / overhauling of Steam Boiler of 850/650 Kg capacity (Make : Thermax RXD) by engaging sufficient man power and suitable T&P to ensure safety of boiler plant as well as working persons including disconnecting of water / steam / electric connections, dismantling of boiler plant by unscrewing/cutting of screws, nuts & bolts etc, taking out complete coil assembly and other major parts from the boiler etc, replacing all defective spares parts (Spare parts shall be measured and paid seperately as 'supply only' in respective items catered here-in after ) cleaning / servicing of coil assembly incl electrical control panel board, all machine works i.e. welding, cutting, drilling etc as and when required and reassembling all dismantled part/items after carrying out necessary repair as required, other material, cleaning, servicing, oiling, greasing etc, making all steam / water connection and electrical connection, leak testing at desired pressure, with and including testing, commissioning of complete boiler plant in original location for smooth and trouble free operation, to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge, complete all as directed.

Note : The entire work incl spare parts / items, as mentioned in srl item no 74.00, shall be got executed through OEM i.e. M/s Thermax Ltd only.

The contractor shall submit the record of overhauling / periodical/preventive maint services carried out by M/s Thermax Ltd along with documentary evidence for claiming payment.

The defective spares parts / items will be measured and paid separately under respective items only. The replacement cost (labour charges) for all defective spares parts / items mentioned in BOQ (Sch – ‘A’)here in after as "supply only", is deemed to be included in quoted rates and no extra cost shall be paid to the contractor in this effect at any stage.
