Earth work in excavation for foundation of structures as per drawing including setting out providing and construction of timber shoring and bracing removal of stumps and other deleterious material, dressing of sides and bottom and diversion of nallah and dewatering of trenches till complete construction of bridge and approaches including backfilling in trenches with excavated suitable material including all leads and lifts. Quantities as calculated from plum/vertical as per the plan size of abutment/pier/approach foundations shall be paid irrespective of slope of vertical sides of trench and no extra shall be paid for construction of any ramps as required at site. Complete job as per clause 304 of MORTH specifications

Boring holes of 1000mm dia upto 25m deep for in situ concrete Piles including charges of labours, hire and running charges of machinery application of bentonite powder as per requirement and placing carrying depositing shifting & setting of machinery equipments and removal of excavated material which may be encountered during boring disposal of bored material to safe place out side municipal limits as per the directions of the Engineer incharge, including cost of concrete (M-35 Grade), bentonite powder carriage placing shifting and setting of machinery complete, incl removal of laitance upto cut off level etc, including carriage and cost of all material involved but excluding cost of reinforcing steel.

Supply, fabrication and placement of 6mm thick liner upto 2.5m length. As per directions of Engineer-incharge including carriage of all materials involved.

Conducting vertical load test as per IRC specification on specified pile with total test load of 100 tons and loading arrangement of 200 tons for tests pile and (a test load of 100 tons and loading arrangement of 150 tons for working pile) to be applied in stages including all necessary arrangement for suitable platform loading arrangement with sand /bajri bags or any other approved means including equipments for load transfer instruments in sufficient number to record the settlement due to test loading /unloading after test and also including dismentalling/ centering away of plate form after test and all other inc icidentals complete. a) Test pile 1.No (200 ton). b) Working piles 1.No (150 ton)

Removing loose soil and replacing it by boulders / granular material to achieve desired foundation depth including carriage of all material involved.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete of M10 grade as mud mat below foundation, approach slabs laid in panels, consolidated, finished as directed and cured complete. Incl. all carriages complete.

Providing and laying of Controlled cement concrete of M30grade using 40mm down aggregate in abutment, Pile caps,Pier Shaft and return walls consolidated and cured complete including carriage of all material involved but excluding cost of necessary formwork /shuttering and cost of reinforcement.

Providing and laying of Controlled cement concrete of M40 grade using 20mm down aggregate in Pier and abutment Pedestals, consolidated and cured complete including cariage of all materials involved but excluding cost of necessary formwork /shuttering and cost of reinforcement

Reinforcing steel:Providing and fixing in position HYSD reinforcement of grade Fe-512 including fabrication, laying and binding with 18gauge annealed steel wire, in foundations, abutments, Pile caps pier, caps, pedestals, return walls, dirt walls, approach slabs including carriage of all materials involed etc.

Back filling and compaction layers after completion of raft to form embankment slope etc. by boulders including carriage of all material involved.

Providing and fixing in position of weep holes in abutment walls with 100mm dia P V C pipes cut to length and profile as required to be installed in concrete and other incidentals complete.

Providing and fixing in position necessary form work/ shuttering of Kitply/Steel plates in foundation footings, bases of columns, suspended floors, walls, pier caps, etc. for mass concrete with all fittings and fixtures and removal of the same

Site clearence incl. dismantlling of existing damaged bridge by all means as directed by Engineer-Incharge.

Test boring up to 30m or appropriate depth at abutment and pier locations consisting of collecting required number of disturbed and undisturbed soil samples for laboratory tests samples to be collected at 1.5m intervals or at every change of soil strata whichever is earlier, carrying out dynamic and standard penetration test as required based on type of soil encountered as per IRC-78-1983, including field vane shear test if called for and conducting soil tests as per appendix 2 of IRC 78, for evaluation of soil properties and relating with field test. including carriage of all materials involved all as directed by Engineer-incharge.

Bearings Providing and installing in position of POT -PTFE bearings at free ends of Truss / Plate girder over abutments and pier locations as per drawings which shall include the following: a) Cost of bearing assembly, transportation, erection and installation to level and position, provision for necessary pockets in pedestals lugs inserts as required and grouting of same as directed after installation. b) All necessary labour and material required for temporary supports and structure locking bearing in position during construction and releasing of the same on completion of units as required in the drawings. c) Providing of epoxy mortar for leveling and seating including application of two or more coats of protective anticorrosive epoxy based paint on exposed steel sections of bearings assembly, greasing/lubrication of moving parts etc as required on completion of installation. including carriage of all materials involved

Providing and fixing of Elastomeric Bearings over reaction blocks, of required size and quality complete job as directed by Engineer-Incharge.

Providing, Fixing and launching Steel work welded in builtup sections framed work including cutting, welding, bending and placing in position made out of MS Beams, Girders, Channels, angles, Tees, Flats, Plates, Nuts and Bolts wherever required and the like complete job as per the drawing and design. including applying of one coat of red oxide primer, including cost and carriage of all materials involved all as directed by Engineer-incharge.

Providing and laying of controlled cement concrete of M-30 Grade using 20 mm down aggregate in two end spans and Deck Slab for remaining length consolidated and cured complete but excluding cost of necessary formwork /shuttering and cost of reinforcement.Incl. all carriages complete.

Reinforcing Steel Providing and fixing in position HYSD reinforcement of grade Fe-512 including fabrication, laying and binding with 18 gauge annealed steel wire, in Deck Slab and wheel guard/Kerbs. Inclding carriage of all materials involved.

Supply and Applying two coats of superior paint to all exposed surfaces of structural steel.

Providing and laying of semi dense wearing coat of compacted 60mm Avg. thickness in carriage way of bridge up to 3.5m approach slab on each side complete as per specifications. Including carriage of all material involved.

Providing and fixing in position expansion joints complete with U-strip made from 24 gauge copper strip. MS angles with welded anchors and MS top plate bolts/nuts etc. complete as per MOST standard drawing.

Providing and filling of approved quality bitumen mastic sealant in expansion joints wherever necessary, prepared and applied as directed Including all incidental work complete.

Providing and fixing in position of rain water collection boxes with pipe outlets (RWCB Type 2) partly in MS sections and cast iron complete as per details (MS angle frame with anchors to be cast in position along with deck slab for seating and fixing of RWCB) All as directed by Engineer-Incharge.

Providing and fixing railing with steel railing post and class-B G.I. pipes including aligning and fixing with posts 50mm dia.including cost and carriage of all material involved all as directed by Engineer-Incharge.

Structural Design charges including proof checking by NIT / DIQC deptt, providing of working structural drawings of all elemenst of substructure and superstructure.
