REPAIR MAINT OF FILTRATION BED OF RO PLANT AND SWIMMING POOL AND CONNECTED PERIODICAL MAINT AT AF STN CARNICOBAR.

M & L for cleaning of swimming pool by pumping out all water and deploying sufficient manpower (07 Persons per day for 07 days), scrapping pool floor and wall tiles with PVC/wooden brush with nylon/stainless steel brussels, removing all dirt and scales particle from the pool and cleaning of pool surface/tiles with the cleaning agents/chemicals including providing hand gloves, ladders and any other safety equipment deemed necessary and directed by the incharge of swimming pool complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge. (Every Three Months).

Note :- (i) Chemical required for cleaning shall be measured and paid separatey under relevant item of BOQ. (ii) Contractor has to arrange all kind of cleaning materials at site without any extra cost. (iii) In case of less number of labours at site, proportionale amount shall be deducted from the quoted rate including penalty @ 1500/- per person per day. (iv) Scaling of tiles should be removed by using suitable acid/chemicals with zero tolerence limit. In case of unsatisfactory result at site, contractor has to deploy manpower to repeat the work until and unless reach the satisfactory level without any extra cost. Hence, very strict monitoring of workmanship shall be carried out by the MES rep and user rep.

(v) Contractor has to complete the above job within 10 days by giving a notice to GE prior to commencing the work. Proper planning and strict workmanship shall be carried by the contractor so that there will be no such leftover scales and dirts inside the swimming pool. (vi) First filling of water after cleaning shall be tested by the contractor for the parameters of pH value, TDS, residual chlorine and hardness at site and and shall prove the same within the limit i.e, there must be a satisfacoty level of improvement when analysing 'before' and 'after' parameters. Water should be free from algae, scale, foreign particles and particularly blue colour tiles of entire swimming pool shall be crystal visible and 100% free from scaling layers on after the cleaning.

M & L for periodical cleaning of RCC overhead RO water storage reservoir of capacity 10000 GPH by closing of all valves in distribution and dewatering of complete tank with the help of drain out valve, scratching the wall by using wire brush and gunny bags, removing sludge, algae and any kind of foreign materials and washing out the inner surface of wall and floor with using lime and bleaching powder and removing the same until clean surface is obtained, allowing for drying upto 3 hours and applying 2 coats of cement based distember over the inner surface of the tank, painting and writing the date of cleaning and capacity etc in bold letters (Tank shall be cleaned yearly and writing with white paint over black base on the tank as "TANK CLEANED ON" with date with 5 cm high letters/ numbers ) complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- (i) Cleaning shall be carried out on requirement basis. Necessary register shall be maintained by the contractor to obtain signature from the Engineer-in-Charge and site executives. (ii) Date and time of ceaning shall be informed to the contractor verbally or through suitable medium after obtainng prior approval from the user.

Disconnecting existing tanks of capacity 5000 ltr, setting aside or lowering if required, for repairs, cleaning etc, and hoisting if required, re-connecting and refixing in position at raw water storage stages of RO plant complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Repairing and cleaning shall be measured and paid separately.

Cleaning and removing all scales and dirt from the tank and from the mouth of the circulating pipes of capacity 5000 ltr at raw water storage tanks of RO plant complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying in replacement Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) pipes 40mm dia, SDR 11, having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply including all & Plain CPVC SDR 11 brass threaded fittings such as reducers, Union, Coupling, sockets of all kind complete. This includes jointing of pipes & fittings with one step CPVC solvent cement, trenching , refilling & testing of joints complete all as specified and directed by Engineer- in-Charge Make: Supreme/Astral/Ashirvad/SFMC or as per PS:

Supply and fix in repairs mild steel bolts purpose made with hexagonal or square head one end and screwed the other or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, length of bolt exceeding 5 cm and not exceeding 10 cm of shank 16 to 20mm etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for replacement of unserviceable clogged spun Cartridge filter 20” jumbo with outer dia not less than 4" PP wound type suitable for 1000/3000 LPH RO having 5 micron filtration level, all as specified and directed. Make:- DOW Filmtec/Ocean Star/Hi Tech/Kent/Acquaguard or Equivalent

Material and Labour for Preparation of old painted metallic surfaces of pressure filtration plants, starter panels, pump motors, RO plant, swimming pool and misc metallic surfaces of water supply installations and applying two coat of anti corrosive synthetic enamel paint on outer surface (black bitumin paint on inner surface of the pressure filtration plant) over a coat of metallic zinc chrome primer, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing of old painted surfaces of pipe surfaces of girth not exc 60cm of CI/GI/DI/MS pipeline and fittings exposed around the water supply installations of size 80mm/100mm/150mm and applying one coats of Synthetic enamel paint by using suitable colours as directed by Engineer-in-Charge, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for carefully taking out the filter media of Pressure sand filter of RO plants of capacity 1000/3000 LPH and filling with new filter media complete all as specified by OEM & as directed by Engr in Charge. Note :- 1. New filter media such as sand, silex and anthracite coat etc shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of BOQ. 2. Opening & dismantling of FRP vessel from its original position and installaing back and closing the vessel, leakage test complete deemed to be included in quoted rate.

Supply only approved quality Silica sand filter media conforming to IS 8419 (Part-I), the sand should be hard, resistant quartz or quartzite, free of clay, fine particles, soft grains, and dirt, with an effective size between 0.45-0.70 mm, a uniformity coefficient between 1.30-1.70, and a silica content of at least 90%, Specific Gravity shall be in the range between 2.55 – 2.65, Wearing loss shall not exceed 3%, complete all as specified and as directed. Supply only Anthracite coal having high hardness, black and shiny, dense with a high carbon content to be used as filter media in pressure filters, The anthracite should be appropriately sized for the specific filter application, with a particle size range of 0.8mm to 1.2mm complete all as specified and directed. Labour only for rectification leakage in existing storage water tanks of capacity 500Ltr to 5000 Ltr, float valves and water supply pipelines of size 20mm to 150mm dia in any position by excavation, taking out the water from excavated trench, rectifying the leakage in pipe line by inserting short piece of pipe, on site threading to pipe, replacement of socket, tee, bend, union etc as reqd at site as without taking out the pipe line, after rectification of leakage returning, filling and making disturbed surface matching to existing specification complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (i) Contractor has to provide one x skilled pipe fitter and a helper for attending breakdown. (ii) All breakdown shall be attended within 24 hours from the time of communication by deploying adequate manpower at site. (iii) Screwing and threading as per site requirement shall deemed to be included in quoted rate.

M&L for carefully replacement of existing unsv RO Membrane 4040 suitable for 3000 LPH RO plant complete all as specified & directed. Make:- DOW Filmtec / Hi Tech / Kent / Acquaguard or Equivalent as per existing model.
