Chipping of unsound / weak concrete material of 25-50mm average thickness from slabs, beams, columns etc with manual chisel and or by standard power driven percussion type or of approved make including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of rust from the reinforcing bars above 12mm dia to give it a total rust free steel surface by using alkaline chemical rust remover of approved make Fosroc reebaklens RR or equivalent in SIKA / THERMAX / FOSROC with paint brush and removing loose particles after 24 hours of its application with wire brush and thoroughly washing with water and allowing it to dry complete all as specified and directed.

Providing mixing and applying over reinforcement bars zinc antirust agent as per specification of make 'Fosroc Nitozinc Primer STD Base' or equivalent in SIKA / Thermax / FOSROC complete all as specified and directed.

Drilling suitable holes for upto and including 12mm dia bar in reinforced or plain cement concrete with power driven drill machine to a minimum depth of 100mm upto 300mm in RCC beams, lintels, columns and slabs to introduce steel bars for sunshades / balconies including fixing the steel bars as in additional main / distribution bars / stirrups / sheer connector in position using epoxy resin anchor grout of approved make complete all as specified and directed. Note : Reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately.

Drilling suitable holes for above 12mm dia bar in reinforced or plain cement concrete with power driven drill machine to a minimum depth of 100mm upto 300mm in RCC beams, lintels, columns and slabs to introduce steel bars for sunshades / balconies including fixing the steel bars as in additional main / distribution bars / stirrups / sheer connector in position using epoxy resin anchor grout of approved make but excluding the cost of reinforcement complete all as specified and directed. Note for item No 10 to 14 :- (i) Guniting / Shotereting shall be carried out as per IS 9012 of 1978.
