Repairing Rewinding of 20 HP 3 Phase, 415 V 50 Hz 1463 RPM Electric Motor coupled with 12,000 CFM AHU installed in Burn Ward SMHS Hospital, along with allied works

Rewinding of stator with super-enamelled dual-coated copper wire of approved make and correct gauge, including slot insulation, phase insulation, wedges, sleeves, leads, soldering/brazing and connections (Scrap to be retained by the contractor and the rate to be quoted after deducting the scrap value). The job includes Loading, transportation/carriage of motor from to & fro from SMHS Hospital to authorised motor repair workshop and unloading, including labour follwed by Complete dismantling of motor at workshop, removal of burnt/damaged winding, cleaning, degreasing and inspection of stator, rotor, shaft, frame and terminal box The job then includes Dismantling/disconnecting motor from AHU, including electrical isolation, removal of terminal connections, coupling/belt arrangement, foundation bolts and shifting to accessible point. The job further comprises of Providing insulating materials including slot liners, DMD/press paper, insulation sleeves, binding material, glass tape, PVC tape, soldering material, insulating varnish etc. The job also includes Vacuum/heat treatment and heat varnishing/baking of complete winding, including curing and insulation resistance improvement, Checking and servicing of bearings, cleaning and lubrication; minor adjustments of bearing housing/shaft, Dynamic/static checking of rotor, cleaning of air passages, tightening of internal connections and complete reassembly of motor, No-load electrical testing including insulation resistance, winding resistance, phase balance, no-load current, vibration and temperature observation. The job finally includes Reinstallation/repositioning of motor on AHU foundation, alignment with driven equipment, tightening of foundation bolts and reconnection of power/control cables followed by Final testing and commissioning of motor with AHU on load, including checking running current, phase balance, vibration, abnormal noise, bearing temperature and direction of rotation
