COMMON ITEMS FOR JOB 'A' ,& 'B'

M&L Plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1(using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in benching,coping including weathering slightly rounded or chamfered angles or as per site requirement with necessary plastering work complete all as specified and directed.

ITEMS APPLICABLE FOR JOB 'A':-

Excavation in trenches not. exc. 1.5m wide and not exc. 1.5m deep and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in,including spreading, levelling ,watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus soil to a distance not exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand cushioning to under ground cable with locally available dry sand for protection of cable 8cm thick before laying of cable and 15 cm thick after laying and stretching the cable below the bricks/PCC cover ,punning of sand using suitable T&P as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed. Note- Punned thickness of sand i.e 18 cm shall be considered for measurement purpose.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast concrets cable cover class LV, Type 1, flat, size 250x150x40 mm complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out unserviceable cable any type/size from trenches,pole, road,duct etc including necessary joints,U/S fittings and pipes etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying in trenches /laid in floor/duct/drawn through conduit XLPE insulated,screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured heavy duty electric cable 1100V grade with aluminum conductor of cross sectional area 16 sqmm 3 core connecting with panel,DB with suitable size lugs complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 10.00 here-in-before but of size 25 sqmm 4 core.

M&L Boring of holes under road, pavement, hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sound technique and necessary machine including HDPE pipe of 90 mm dia suitable for 0.4mpa working pressure complete all as specified & directed.

S&F 25 mm dia galvanized iron tube light grade for cable protection, supporting to poles, plinth protections, road crossing, trenches, footpath etc, including Flat Iron clamps-02 Nos of size 25x3mm, with nut bolt and washers complete all as specified & directed.

S&F 50 mm dia galvanized iron tube light grade for cable protection, supporting to poles, plinth protections, road crossing, trenches, footpath etc, including Flat Iron clamps-02 Nos of size 50x6mm, with nut bolt and washers complete all as specified & directed.

S&F Rigid non-metallic heavy duty PVC conduit pipe 25 mm dia including junction/terminal boxes,tees, bends, elbows, reducers, bell mouth tube ends and fixing accessories such as couplers,lock nuts,saddles,pipe hooks or all as per site requirement complete all as specified & directed.

ITEMS APPLICABLE FOR JOB 'B':-

M&L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth electrode plate of size 600x600x6mm thick, buried directly in ground(earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.50m below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron strip of size 32 x 6 mm as earth lead up to test point with suitable size GI nuts/bolts, washers,check nut and brazed properly up to main board,LT panel etc and adequate quantity of charcoal and salt 15 cm around the earth plate including earth pit in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates,40mm thick precast RCC cover in 1:2:4 reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars 3 Nos both way including CI cover 10 mm thick with hinged and frame of angle iron 25x25x6mm with 6mm dia MS bar handle made to shape, excavation and earth work in any type of soil and including medium grade GI watering pipe 20mm bore with funnel and wire mesh and medium grade GI earth wire protection pipe 40mm bore up to main board complete all as shown in electrical plate no 3 of MES schedule Part-I , connected to earthing testing point and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed . Notes: (i) The unit rate includes 40 mm dia GI pipe up to 7.5m for protection of earth lead. (ii) The unit rate includes GI main earthing lead/strip of size 32x6 mm from earth electrode to test point up to 7.5 meter (iii) In case measured value of earth resistance of each earthing is recorded more than 3 ohms then the earthing shall be re done by the contractor without any extra cost to the department.

S&F GI strip 32 x 6 mm with saddles and fixing screws on poreceling insulator/ spacer fixed at every 1 mtr length as lightening conductor on roof/wall of explosive building/ connect to LT panel or main DB and joining the same with existing earth test point complete all as specified & directed.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning Tripod Earthing (3 Set earthing inter connected to 1 set) maintenance free Earthing Solutions comprising with the following: - (a) Supply and fixing after digging bore of size not less than 100mm dia and 3000mm deep the CPRI tested and UL certified maintenance free earthing system having a set of copper bonded Earth Rod of 3 meter length, 17.2 mm dia made of high tensile low steel circular rods, molecularly bonded with 99.90% electrolytic grade copper on outer surface (minimum copper bonding thickness - 250 microns) with exothermally jointed copper bus bar of size 200X25X6mm for long lasting and connection. Earth Copper bonded rod & exothermically jointed bus bar should be CPRI tested on 25KA fault current complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge for complete interconnections of three earthing with 20x3mm copper strip upto 12 mtr length.- Qty 3 Nos. (b) Earth Copper bonded Electrode should be tested by CPRI (c) Current carrying capacity of Earth Copper bonded Electrode is 25KA/Sec. (d) Supply and filling of carbon based, eco friendly earth enhancing compound of RHOS tested compound tested by NABL accredited Lab in compliance to IEC 62561-7 and having passed leaching, sulphur, corrosion resistivity test as per IEC 62561-7 an international standard for earth enhancement compound in compliance to IEC 62561-7 with a resistivity < 0.12 ohm-m, 30 kg. Qty- 3 Nos. (e) Earth enhancing compound shall be free from corrosion, it shall be carbon based material and shall be free from bentonite and other hazardous substances. The product does not dissolve, deteriorate or leach out of time. It shall be highly conductive and improves earth's absorbing power and humidity retention capability, It shall be eco-friendly and chemically inert to sub soil. (f) Supply and fixing plastic Earth pit Cover of size 247mm x 338mm x 210mm having load bearing capacity of 8 Ton and complying IEC 62561-5. Qty - 3 Nos. Notes: (i) The unit rate includes 40 mm dia GI pipe up to 7.5m for protection of earth lead. (ii) The unit rate includes copper main earthing lead/strip of size 20x3 mm from copper bus bar of size 200X25X6mm to test point up to 7.5 meter (iii) 3 set earthing will be measured separately one by one and in case measured value of earth resistance is recorded more than 1 ohms of any earthing then the earthing shall be re done by the contractor without any extra cost to the department.

S&F earth pit cover of size 480x480x330mm and 80 mm thick made out of plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates for earth pit and 40mm thick precast RCC pit cover in 1:2:4 reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars 3 Nos both way including CI cover 10 mm thick with hinged and frame of angle iron 25x25x6mm with 6mm dia MS bar handle made to shape with funnel and wire mesh complete all as specified & directed.
