Earthwork in excavation in Foundation of structure as per drawing and technical specifications, including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides and bottom and back filling with approved material complete in all respect as per clause No. 301,304,309 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) of 2013 / latest edition.

Providing and laying 200 mm /250 mm thick granular sub base consisting of filter layer confirming to Table 400.1 Grading - I of MoRT&H 5th edition, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mix material to the site of work, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve desired density complete as per clause No. 401 of MoRT&H specifications. Note: - 1. Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Material and operation manufacturing shall be approved by engineer in charge.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete M 15 (aggregate 20 mm nominal size) in open foundation. The rate shall include the cost of all labour, material etc complete job including bailing out water to keep the area dry as per instruction of Engineer-in-Charge. Payment shall be made based on approved plan dimensions for PCC as per clause No. 1500, 1700 & 2100 of MoRT&H Specifications 5th revision 2013.

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete M-35 grade in open Foundation, concrete using Ordinary Portland Cement of grade 43 appropriate sand, aggregate, water, admixtures in suitable proportions as per approved mix design, as per approved drawings supplied by the Engineer-in-charge, including all types of shuttering, centering, necessary tools, plants, machinery, and all related operations as required to complete the work with all leads, lifts and depths true to line, level and position all complete (excluding the cost of reinforcement steel, complete as per clause No. 1000, 1500,1700 & 2100 of MoRT&H Specifications 5th revision 2013.)

Complete as per drawing and Technical Specifications Clause 13.8 - 2706 & 2200.

Providing and laying of filter media with granular materials / stone crushed aggregates satisfying the requirements laid down in clause 2504.2.2 of MORTH specifications to a thickness of not less than 600 mm with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and provided over the entire surface behind abutment, wing wall and return wall to the full height compacted to a firm condition complete as per drawing and technical specification as per clause 710.1.4 of IRC:78 and 2200 of MoRT&H specification (MoRT&H no. 13.10)

Back filling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawing and Technical Specification MORT&H clause No. 710.1.4 of IRC-78 and 2200.

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete M-30 grade concrete in Approch slab using Ordinary Portland Cement of grade 43, appropriate sand, aggregate, water, admixtures in suitable proportions as per approved mix design, as per approved drawings supplied by the Engineer-in-charge, including all types of shuttering, centering, necessary tools, plants, machinery, and all related operations as required to complete the work with all leads, lifts and depths true to line, level and position all complete (including the cost of reinforcement steel) as per clause No. 1500,1600,1700 & 2704 of MoRT&H Specifications 5th revision 2013.

Provision of reinforced cement concrete crash barrier at the edges of the road approaches to bridge structures and medians, constructed with M-40 grade concrete with TMT Fe-500 reinforcement conforming to IRC:21 and dowel bars 25mm dia, 450 mm long at expansion joints filled with pre-moulded asphalt filler board, keyed to the structure on which it is built and installed as per design given in the enclosure to MOST circular no. RW/NH-33022/194-DO III dated 24th June 1994 as per dimensions in the approved drawing and at locations directed by the Engineer, all as specified as per dimensions in the approved drawing and at locations directed by the Engineer, all as specified as per MORT&H Specification Clause 811.

Providing and fixing 65 mm G.I Pipe hand rail over the crash barrier kerb consisting of MS base plate, embedded fasterner and nuts. MS vertical plates and pipes etc, as shown in the drawings and as per specifications and painting the same with 3 or more coats of paints. All the railing components as mentioned above to be hot dip galvanised with a zinc coating of at least 175 gm/sqm. Item to include all incidental works required to complete the work as per the directions of the Engineer-in-charge. (N.S)

Providing and laying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 grade pressure distributor at the rate of 0.25 kg. per sqm. On the prepared bitumen/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom including cost of bitumen as per clause No.503 (5th edition) 2013 as per MoRT&H specification (N.S.)

Providing & Laying 40 mm thick compacted Bituminous Concrete (BC) in one layer with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant and with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with appropriate rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause No. 507 MoRT&H specification (5th Revision) 2013 for road and bridge works (5th Revision)2013 using minimum 5.4% to bitumen grade VG-30 as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respects including cost of bitumen instruction issued from time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MoRT&H specification in mandatory. If bitumen required more than 5.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work.

Providing and laying 25mm thick mastic asphalt wearing course with paving grade bitumen VG-30 meeting the requirements given in table 500-29, prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to required level and slope after cleaning the surface, including providing antiskid surface with bitumen precoated fine-grained hard stone chipping of 13.2 mm nominal size at the rate of 0.005 cum per 10 sqm and at an approximate spacing of 10 cm center to center in both directions, pressed into surface when the temperature of surfaces not less than 100 0 C, protruding 1 mm to 4 mm over mastic surface, all complete as per clause 516 of MORT&H Specification (Vth revision) – 2013)

Drainage System: Providing and laying PVC drain pipes, spouts, G.I steel gratings over formed holes in deck slab, fixing 150 mm dia G.I. pipes ISI mark at every pier etc. as per approved drawings including bends, collars, clamps, fasteners, threading etc., complete as per clause No. 2705 of MoRT&H Specifications 5th revision 2013.

Providing and fixing in position 20m thick premoulded joint filler in expansion joint for fixed ends of simply supported spans not exceeding 10m to cater for a horizontal movement upto 20mm, covered with sealant complete as per drawings and technical specification as per clause 2605 of MORT&H specification.

Road Marking with Hot Applied Thermoplastic Compound with Reflectorising Glass Beads on Bituminous Surface of MORT&H specification. Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35 .The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes. As per clause 803 of MORT&H specification.

Painting two coats after filling the surface with synthetic enamel paint in all shades on new plastered concrete surfaces as per clause 803 of MoRT&H specification (MoRT&H no. 8.8) . Painting on Crash Barrier and Deck slab.

Sand filling in Median complete as per drawing and technical specification as per clause 304 of MoRT&H specification

Providing and fixing PVC pipe 150 mm dia in Median for Utilites etc. (N.S)

Precast chequered tiles of 20 mm thickness in ordinary grey cement without chips laid on 20 mm thick bed of cement coarse sand mortar 1:3 with neat cement slurry between joints and over the base in floors, treas of steps and landing (HSR 14.45 + Note) Note: In case colour chequered tiles in flooring are used, increase the throught rate of HSR item no. 14.45 by 10%

Scarifying existing bituminous surface to a depth of 50mm by Mechanical means as per clause no. 305.4.3 of MORT&H specification

Scarifying existing Granular surface to a depth of 150 mm and disposal of scarified material within all lifts and lead up to 1000 metres as per clause no. 305.4.3 of MORT&H specification

Construction of embankment, sub grade and shoulders of new road with soil of minimum CBR (4 days soaked) of 8% obtained from borrow pit with all lead and lift transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 305. The finished road surface will be as per X-section approved by employer with respect to GTS. At no place top of sub grade of road shall be less than 0.90 m above adjoining NSL. NSL for a block of 100m will be worked as mean of 6 levels taken on 20 m center to center length of road. These six levels are at three location on both side one at edge ROW. Other at 5 m and 10 m away from ROW. In case the quantity of earth work calculated with NSL and finished level found to be lessthan 5216.035cum. Then actual quantity (less than 5216.035 cum) will be paid. In case quantity worked out is more than 5216.035 cum, then only 5216.035cum will be paid. Excess quantity shall be incidental to work and nothing extra will be paid. Further it shall be ensured that atleast 500 mm of sub grade with earth of CBR 8% shall be constructed at each location. Wherever any cutting of existing subgrade is required on this account excavation as well as handling and disposal of earthwork to accommodate minimum 500mm thick subgrade of minimum 8% CBR shall be carried out by the agency at his own cost. Nothing extra will be paid on this account. Before start of work, L-section shall be got approved from the employer with respect to GTS. However, typical X-section attached at section 9 of DNIT. Note: If soil of CBR 8% is not available then the agency will do appropriate stabilization as per IRC –SP-89-2010 as approved by SE-in-Charge and nothing extra shall be paid on this account and it will be incidental to work. No earth work will be allowed from PWD land.

Providing, laying 100 mm thick in two layers spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base/base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density as per MoRT&H specification for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects as per clause No.406. (N.S.) Note: - 1.Only crushed stone metal material should be used. No local earth/ natural occurring sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (S.S grade - I) on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 Kg/Sqm using mechanical means as per MoRT&H specification for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects as per clause No. 502. (N.S.)

Providing and laying (60mm thick) dense graded bituminous macadam (in singal layer) with 100-120 TPH batch type HMP producing an average output of 75 tonne per hour using crushed aggregates of specified gradeing, premixed with bituminous binder VG-40 grade @ 4.5 percent by weight of total mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher wit sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoRT&H specification clause 507 complete in all respect (MoRT&H 5.6)

As per drawing and technical specification clause 2900 (MORT&H No.9.2).

Pointing with cement mortar 1:3 on brick work in sub structure as per technical specification clause 1300 & 2200 (MORT&H No. 13.2)

Removing all type of Hume pipe and stacking with in a lead of 1200 metres including earthwork and Dismantling of Masonry work. As per drawing and technical specification clause 202 (MORT&H No. 2.4 (ix) B). Above 900 mm dia (from diversion after completion of work). Recovery items:- The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. i)Material obtained from dismantling of existing brick work and existing bituminous layer have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The scarified material will be issued for use in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) as per approval of employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material after approval from employer. This material can be issued at the price quoted by the agency or reserve price whichever is high. The reserve price is as under:- NP-4 Pipe 1000mm dia recovered from diversion @ Rs.2500/- Mtr. Note: - All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this road. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual scarifying and if material after scarifying is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price.
