Annual maintenance (Preventive, Routine and Breakdown maintenance) service contract of the various capacity Diesel Generators inside IITM Campus for the year 2024-25

Labour charges for 2 Nos numbers DG mechanic to test the healthyness of the DG's and entering the valid perameter in a Register/log book in daily basis for all the DG 's inside the campus. (Atleast one mechanic should be able to check electrical fault(s) inclusive AMF panel fault or minor wiring / modification in wiring as required by Engineer-in-charge and prepare the report with different parameters as required. The man power is also responsible for the routine inspection/preventive maintenance, cleaning, checking and testing of following rated DG sets for their smooth functioning including attending all electrical and mechanical fault pertaining to the DG set(s), AMF panel(s) and Batteries. (Details of DG sets as per Annexure )

Supply and Replacement of all required acessories for B check as per the DG manufacturer/OEM recommendations including all Air/Lub Oil Filters/coolant etc

Supply and replacement of Engine oil as per the manufacturer recommendations during B check or as on when required after getting approval from Engineer-in-Charge.

Power Back self charged Battery suitable for above 250kVA and up to 750kVA DG Set

12V 180AH Lead Acid Battery suitable up to 750 kVA DG set as per the manufacturer recommendations

Charges for filling of high speed Diesel (diesel will be supplied by IIT Madras) to the DG sets at various locations in the premises by manualy or electricaly including neacessary higher charge for vehicle for transoport from autoshop as and when required as instructed by the Engineer- Incharge. ( 1 job will be considered as minimum transportation of 1000 litrs of Diesel in one or more trips)

Suppy, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Engine controller as per approve make of following capacity DG set including programming, necessery modification of control wiring and accesseries. (Details of approve make of Engine controller as per Annexure )

Charge for rectification of existing battery and make in working condition for upto 750kVA DG set inclusive of melted terminals, recharge the battery. Rate is inclusive of to or fro cost.

Buy Back of existing dismantled B check servicing material (i.e, Air Filters, oil Filters etc) and remove from campus. The rate quoted in negative value.
