M&L for earthing with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm size burried directly in ground to depth not less than 2.25m below ground level with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, including provision of galvanized earth strip 32 x 6mm connected by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel, provision of 40mm dia GI pipe medium grade for earth strip protection connected from earth plate electrode to main switch board, provision of 20mm dia GI pipe perforated medium grade for watering arrangement and PCC 1:3:6 type C1 chamber, MS funnel, wire mesh, 50mm thick RCC 1:2:4 type B1 for earth pit cover with 6 Nos, 8mm dia high strength deformed steel TMT bars on both ways, including necessary excavation in any type of soil, returning, filling in, removal of surplus soil to a distance n.exc.50m, provision of charcoal and salt complete all as shown in electrical plate No.3 of Schedule Part-I 2009 incl taking down unserviceable earthing pit complete all as specified and directed and testing and recorded resistence in Ohm on completion. Note:- (i) Cost of GI earth strip/wire and GI protection pipe upto 7.5 Mtr length shall abe deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item. (ii) The unit rate shall also includes for Test point (made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm), Wire mesh funnel, excavation, returning & filling, PCC chamber earthing pit, RCC cover complete.

M&L for earthing with copper earth plate electrode 600x600x3.15mm size burried directly in ground to depth not less than 2.25m below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level surrounded with char coal and common salt filling in alternative layers of 15cm thick and connected to copper earth strip 25 x3.15 mm by means of nuts/bolts and washers etc made out of galvanized iron including 40mm dia GI pipe light grade for protection of earth strip from earth electrode to test point 20mm dia GI pipe medium grade connected to funnel heavy wire mesh for watering purpose including necessary excavation and earth work PCC (1:2:4) type B1 for earth pit 10mm thick cast iron cover with angle iron frame all as specified and shown in electric plate Nos No.3 of Schedule Part-I 2009 incl taking down unserviceable earthing pit complete all as specified and directed and testing and recorded resistence in Ohm on completion. Taking down old complete and M&L labour for earthing complete with galvanised mild steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried vertically in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level steel earth plate connected with GI wire 04 mm dia by means of lug, bolts, nuts, check nuts, washers of galvanised iron or steel GI protection pipe 15 mm bore light grade all as shown in elect plate No 3 on serial page No 497 of SSR part I - 2009 and connecting to main switch board / Main DB’s including excavation, earth work, salt and charcoal dust mixed and packed 150 mm thick around GI earth plate, GI pipe medium grade 20 mm nominal bore watering pipe GI sheet funnel wire mesh, concrete pit, RCC cover 40 mm thick in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 duly reinforced with MS Bars 6 mm dia at the rate of 75 mm centre to centre both way with 12 mm dia lifting handle and pit / chamber in PCC 1:3:6 type C1, Angle iron 40 mm x 40 mm x 3 mm frame for pit cover including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Cost of GI earth strip and GI protection pipe upto 7.5 Mtr length shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item. Taking down old and supply & fix test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25 mm, drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8 mm dia 25 mm long hex. Head screw incl , all as specified and as directed incl taking down old test point all as specified and directed..

Taking down old and Supply & fixing Air termination, single pointed aluminium rod 12mm dia and 300mm long including making mounting base, complete suitable for fixed properly on top of the roof of building/ESHs at any height complete all as specified and as directed .

Supply and fixing in replacement of Aluminium strip 25 x 3.15mm with and including ceramic/porcelain vitreous insulator (at not more than 100cm c/c) for base of suitable size and saddles and fixing screws, nut bolts with washer etc. for fixing the strip on roof surface/along wall surface or drawn through pipe as earth grid and down conductor of lightening protection system of building/ESHs at any height complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in Replacement of copper strip 20 x 3.15 mm including ceramic/porcelain vitreous insulator (at not more than 100cm c/c) for base of suitable size and saddles and fixing screws, nut bolts with washer etc. for fixing the strip on roof surface/along wall surface or drawn through pipe as earth grid and down conductor of lightening protection system of building/ESHs at any height complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/ pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required of size 32 x 6mm galvanised iron strip complete with taking down old all as specified and directed.
