Point Wiring Work: Providing point wiring for Light Point / Ceiling fan Point / 6A socket outlet / 16A socket outlet / Water Heater Point / A.C. Point / Bell point / Exhaust Fan Point etc. with 1.1 KV grade, FRLS PVC insulated multi stranded flexible copper conductor wires in 25 x 16 mm size white PVC casing capping on surface, modular type controlling switches / socket outlets with fabricated 16 SWG MS CRCA sheet powder coated surface type switch boxes with cover plate & frame, 3-plate ceiling roses , PVC junction boxes , PVC round plates, terminal looping connector blocks, ferrule numbers on both sides of wires, FRLS PVC insulated flexible copper conductor wires for earthing of switchboards, labelling etc. all as per site conditions, specifications and as instructed by Engineer-in-charge. Scope shall also include providing the bunching tags for wires inside casing capping to avoid hanging of wires at the intervals of 600mm. Note: 1. Wiring layout arrangement and samples of switch boxes are to be got approved by EIC prior to procurement. 2. All switches, sockets, fan regulators, cover plates & frame, surface boxes etc. shall be of approved color & shall be of same make and other accessories like lamp holders, ceiling roses & doorbell etc. shall be of polycarbonate body and shall preferably ISI marked. Lamp holders shall be brass ring lamp holders. 3. The dimensions of switches, sockets, and fan regulators shall preferably be ISI mark. 4. HMS PVC sleeves will have to be provided for crossing walls, drilling holes & its refinishing to be also included in the scope. 5. All metalic boxes/switch boxes shall be earthed with 1.1kV grade FRLS PVC insulated 2.5sq.mm copper flexible wire. 6. The surface switch boxes shall be got manufactured by OEM of wiring accessories and the sample of the same shall be got approved by Dept. 7. Circuit for Light Point / Ceiling fan Point / 6A socket outle / Bell point / Exhaust Fan Point shall be made with 1.5 sq.mm wires for Phase+Neutral & 2.5 sq.mm wire for earth from DB to respective points. 8. Circuit for power point shall be made with 2.5 sq.mm wires for Phase+Neutral+Earth from DB to respective power points. 9. Circuit for AC point shall be made with 4 sq.mm wires for Phase+Neutral & 2.5 sq.mm wire for earth from DB to respective AC points. 10. There are 2 different layouts of 1 RK flats are present at site. The number of points in both the layouts are same, however the position of some of the points are different. Hence, the wiring lenghts, per point, can be considered by averaging the wiring lengths of the two layouts.

A.C point with 20 A metal plug & socket outlet with 4sq mm. wires complete with 20 A SP MCB in readymade powder coated MS enclosure (Enclosure shall have single pole cutout).

Water heater point with 4 sq.mm wires complete with 32 A DP isolator in readymade powder coated MS enclosure. (Enclosure shall have double pole cutout).

Exhaust fan point (EXP1, E1 for Kitchen & EXP2, E2 for W.C) : Exhaust fan point with 1.5 sq.mm wires complete with 6A , 5 Pin universal socket outlet & 6A, SP, 240V controlling switch. (EX1, E1 for Kitchen & EX2, E2 for W.C) Note: 1.) The switch and socket for the exhaust fan point shall be at seprate locations as per the drawing. MS Boxes, Cover Plates & Frames shall be considered accordingly. 2.) Exhaust Fan shall be looped in lighting circuit.

Flat DB: Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of readymade surface mounted double door 16 way SPN DB having IP43 protection complete with busbar, wiring kit, nuetral link, earth link etc., with following components as required & as instructed by the Engineer-in-charge. i) 40A, 2P, 30mA RCBO, 2 Modular - 1 no. ii) 6 to 20A, 10kA breaking capacity, C-curve, SP, MCB - 12 nos. (6A - 3 nos. , 16A - 6 nos., 20A - 3 nos.) iii.) DB Blank Plate - 2 nos. iv) Cable end boxes - 1 no. (on Top ) Note: Scope of work also includes : 1.) Machine cutting of Cable end box for termination of submain cable & passing through of the casing capping . 2.) Providing Danger board, Schematic Diagram & Ferulle numbers etc. 3.) New DB acessories (like MCB's), DB , Cable end boxes etc. shall be of same make so that no compatibility issue occurs during fixing .

Dismantling & take away of all existing surface switch boards, Surface DB & its accessories, Internal flat wiring , Casing Capping, Ceiling Rose, Angle / Batten Holders, DP switches etc. touch up painting of exposed area by roller / brush etc. as required and as per instructions of E-I-C. Note: 1.) Credit for taking away dismantled Aluminium wires, switches, sockets, old switch boards, MCBs, RCBO's etc shall be inlcuded in the quoted rates. 3.) Providing temporary power supply during rewiring is also in the scope of work with suitable RCBO based outlets & wires on plywood boards etc.

Ceiling fan: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of following BLDC ceiling fans confirming to IS 374 with BEE certification and regulator controlled speed regulation having aluminium blades complete with 18 SWG safety chain etc. on existing fan hook , all as per technical specifications in technical bid and as instructed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: Scope of work also includes 1.) Dismantling of the exisitng ceiling fans and depositing the old fans in packed condition in the cartons of new celing fans to DCSEM store. 2.) Interconnection with fan point (ceiling rose type) using 3C X 1.0 sq.mm FRLS multistranded flexible copper conductor chord including termination with suitable copper lugs etc.

Fan Hook: Fabrication, supply & installation of ceiling fan hook of MS ‘T’ section of approx. size 65 x 60 x 5 mm & approx. 100 mm long, painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide paint including drilling holes in corners and in center of webs, fixing it by four nos. of anchor fastener of size min 8 mm x 50 mm including providing ‘S’ hook made up of 8 mm dia. (approx.) SS rod for suspension of ceiling fan, all as required and instructed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Water Heater (In Bathroom) :- Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of ISI marked 1 ltr. instantaneous pressure type water heater complying to IS 8978, vertical round type with following specifications all as required & as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge : 1.) Heating Element - 3 kW heating element with its accessories, 2.) Inner container - Stainless steel inner container having SS base and SS pipes on which heating element & its accessories will be mounted. 3.) Outer Body - ABS plastic 4.) Protections - Thermostat, Thermal cutout, Fusible plug, Pressure release valve, Reset button for thermal cutout (shall be accessible from outside of Water Heater via removing rubber knob). 5.) Interconnecting Cable - 3C x 1.5 sq.mm flexible multistranded copper conductor chord . Note: - 1.) The water heater shall be provided with suitable bracket for wall mounting and the bracket shall be got approved by the department. 2.) Scope of work includes the following : i) Interconnection of water heater with existing water heater point with suitable tinned copper lugs. ii) Disconnection, dismantling and deposting the existing water heater to DCSEM / TVS stores in packed condition in the cartons of new ones.

Water Heater Connection Pipe: Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of 24 inch Connection Hose Pipe for water heater with Anti Explosion design & following specifications all as required & as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge : 1.) Stainless Steel 304 Grade Braided outer layer 2.) High temperature resistant EPDM inner Tube 3.) Double ring silicon sealing at both ends 4.) Brass / Copper inner joint 5.) 1/2 inch SS female compression threads Note: - Scope of work includes Interconnection of inlet & outlet of water heater with existing water heater tapping points.

Submain surface cabling: Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of 1.1 KV grade 3C x 10 sq.mm multi stranded armoured Copper conductor cable with XLPE insulation, PVC inner sheathed, G.I flat steel strip armoured, extruded PVC outer sheathed conforming to IS 7098 Part-I with latest amendments, fixed on wall/column/slab/ Hume pipe/trench/ shaft/pit/ on 4-5mm thick hot dip G.I. spacer fixed with coach screws/grouted in wall/anchor fasteners, 2mm thick hot dip G.I. fabricated saddle with all fixing accessories etc. as required & as per instructions of the E-I-C. Note: - Scope of work includes removal & refitting of existing MS enclosure covering of submain cables in staircase.

LT Cables End termination :Providing end termination of 3C x 10sq.mm XLPE insulated armoured cables with solder less heavy duty tinned copper lugs, heavy duty brass cable gland, insulation tape, duplicate earthing with brass earthing tags of suitable thickness, inter connection to nearest earthing point with 8 SWG GI wires, copper lugs etc. as per relevant IS specification and as per instruction of Engineer in-charge. Note: - Termination of earth wire shall be done on existing earth link with solder less heavy duty tinned copper lugs.

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of earth link made up of 25 X 6 mm heavy dipped GI flat strip with provision of 20 ways near MCB enclosures in service box & interconnection of earth link with the existing 25 X 6 mm GI earthing strip.

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of 63A DP MCB in readymade powder coated MS enclosure of the same make including fixing on the existing plywood board in service box with all fixing accessories etc. as required & as per instructions of the E-I-C. Note: Scope of work includes termination of existing incoming supply wires coming from energy meters with tinned copper lugs.

Earth Station: Providing earth station with heavy dipped GI earth plates electrode 600 x 600 x 6.0 mm in size at the depth minimum of 2.5 m below ground level (bottom of Plate) confirming to IS 3043 complete with all required materials like coke / charcoal, salt, G.I nut bolts, washers, 19 mm dia GI pipe (B class), 150 mm thick concrete wall chamber duly plastered having size of 500 x 500 x 500 mm, heavy duty (minimum 6 mm thick) M.S chequred plate cover, associated materials like 40 x 40 x 5 mm angle iron frame work, hinged locking arrangements, complete with funnels, GI test links (50 x 6 mm), two runs of 25 x 6mm G.I strips for connecting G.I plate & test link etc. including excavation of ground in all types of soils, refilling & removal of excess earth within a radius of 3000 m etc. all as required as per the drawings, specifications & instructed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- 1. The chamber cover & frame shall be got approved by Department & painted with two coats of red oxide & one coat of enamel paint. 2. Painting of earth value & test date on cover plate. 3. All earthing stations in one building shall be interconnected to each other . 4. Earthing strips shall be welded with the earthing plate before galvanizing & two holes on each strip & plate shall be made for fixing the screws.

Earthing strips: Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of 25x6mm heavy dipped GI strip fixed to wall / slab / column / beam with 2mm thick GI saddle & 4-5 mm thick GI Spacer or in ground at a depth of 750 mm below ground level including excavation in all type of soil , refilling and removal of excess earth within a radius of 3000 mtrs., temporary reinstatement and back filling of trench, interconnection of earth strips / wires with GI nut bolts & washers, painting with two coats of black bituminous compound for earth strip in ground and green colour enamel painting for strip on surface etc. all as required & instructed by the Engineer-in-charge.
